Top service at a difficult time. My wife has recently passed away leaving my head an emotional wreck, then on top of that I had a nasty problem with my great dane. I saw Chris and broke down while trying to explain what happened to my wife. The team at Rackheath Vets took over and looked after me and Henry with service second to none. I can't even begin to explain how much that service / friendship meant to me, and Henry was given top class attention, but every time I have been to see the team at Rackheath Vets all my dogs have always received first class service and attention. Thank you all at Rackheath Vets for looking after Henry and me and my emotional breakdowns. THANK YOU

Poorly dog - now happy dog I’ve had the pleasure of 4 different rescue dogs over the last 25+ years and have used most of the veterinary practices in my area. Having found Rackheath vets I will never change to another. This practice is totally professional but so very caring and it’s not about accumulating money for the practice which I find very refreshing - it’s about doing the very best for your pet and for you as it’s loving owner. My dog had a huge operation which needed extraordinary skills from the amazing surgeon and the after care has been second to none! I can’t thank them enough and would recommend them to everyone.

Compassionate and caring My Cat has an ongoing eye issue. Every time We`ve been seen he has been treated with kindness and compassion. Took him in for a discussion after a swab returned a negative result and was advised he could be referred to a specialist. I was expecting a referral to take a few weeks. Vet Hannah called the next day with advice from the specialists! Everyone on the team is warm and friendly.

From walking in we found it was a very welcoming experience. The care shown towards our pet was brilliant and reassurance towards us was second to none. This is an addition to my original review some months later. Sadly I had to have my cat (Mia Mouse but just Mouse to me) put to sleep. What a wonderful team they are at this vets. I was so upset I just dissolved but the care and understanding was second to none. The support given to me is beyond words. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Should be 10 stars!

I can't rate this vets practice highly enough. After moving from a vet practice that couldn't even return calls to plan surgery for my dog, I was recommended to try Rackheath vets. This was the best decision I could have made. They were prompt in seeing my dog, planning her surgery and getting her booked in. The follow up care has been excellent with lots of post-op checks as I was a super worrier. Not once did they make me feel like an inconvenience for worrying and were super friendly and reassuring. They are prompt in their response to any enquiries, and very fairly priced for what they do. My dog wasn't the easiest as she is an angry chihuahua, but they were really good with her and she is recovering well. Huge thank you to Chris, Owen and the team at Rackheath vets!

DO NOT RECOMMEND! If I could give this no stars I would ! My dog came in because they were being sick and wanted to double check they were ok, the vet was meant to give her an antisickness drug but gave her a sedation drug which nearly killed her, she was almost lifeless. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! We have had no apology or anything for this!

Yet again faultless service by Rackheath vets. Jasper fell unwell around 8am. Appt by 1230 …. By 4pm he was having emergency surgery to remove a mass on his spleen that had caused him internal bleeding. Rackheath vets literally saved his life and I am forever grateful.💜💜

I am so pleased I moved to this practice when it first opened. I never have a problem getting an appointment, on the day or pre-booked. All of the staff are absolutely superb. We had to have our gorgeous cat PTS a couple of months ago, but Chris tried absolutely everything possible before we made that decision. He even very kindly came out to our home on a Sunday to have her PTS, so we didn't have to distress her with a car journey. He was incredible; so sensitive and respectful. I cannot mention the vets, without mentioning the nursing staff and the amazing reception team. I think I cried at most of them, and they were all fantastic with us, and so comforting. I feel incredibly lucky to have Rackheath as my vets practice.
