I recently used Quick Mix for a project and was thoroughly impressed with their service. From the outset, their team was incredibly helpful, providing expert advice on the best type of concrete for my needs and setting clear expectations for the delivery day. The staff who arrived to mix and pump the concrete were outstanding; not only were they professional and skilled, but they also took great care to avoid any mess, which was much appreciated. Based on my experience, I highly recommend this company. Also it was a very big pour over 100 cubic so we needed the Lorrie’s to be back to back and they did not disappoint. The job was completed the same day!

Avoid Quick Skip Hire – terrible experience, felt like a scam
I ordered a large skip from Quick Skip Hire and sent them photos of my waste via WhatsApp. They agreed over the phone to send a bigger skip – but on the delivery day they turned up with a tiny 3-yard skip instead and forced me to pay £230 cash in hand before even dropping it onto my driveway.
When I first saw the skip I refused it, but the driver convinced me and promised it would be enough and that I could load everything – so I trusted them. Then on the collection day, they suddenly claimed it was “overloaded” and demanded another £100. They even tried to scare me saying if police stop the lorry it’s my problem. In the end they pressured me and forced me to pay £50 just to get it removed.
This company is completely unprofessional – they change prices after delivery, pressure you for cash payments with no proof, and don’t honour what they agree over the phone.
My advice:
– Do NOT pay in advance or cash in hand
– Get everything in writing / invoice first
– Better yet, avoid this company completely
I feel scammed and don’t want others to go through the same.
I will never use quick skip again, I have been using them for many years, I'm always arguing with them reason 1, they would give me a small skip and if I get skip from punjab skip they always give me a bit bigger and the price is cheaper than quick skip. Reason 2 if I use a skip a bit longer then they would call me and tell me they want to collect the skip on the day but if I keep longer that they will charge me extra money, punjab skip or someone else they don't call or charge extra. Try to use punjab skip I have used them for more than 10 years and their service is much better. Don't use them quick skip.
Avoid this company if you don't want to be overcharged.
We ordered ready-mix concrete for the house's fence, a pretty straightforward job. The trenches have been measured, and the total volume of the ready-mix concrete filled by the company was 50% more than the volume of the trenches.
The customer service provided by manager Jenny was unsatisfactory.
During our phone conversation, the manager frequently interrupted and did not listen to my concerns.
During the conversation with so so-called manager, who answers all the phone calls advertised on the website, I was called clueless, which is absolutely astonishing.
The driver on the site remeasured again and agreed to drop the measurement from 11.9 cubic meters to 9, just because he was challenged, although the volume was still less than 8.5 cubic meters.
There is no way we will be using this company for any businesses as they simply overcharge every customer who does not check or challenge them.
There are so many great and honest companies around. Please avoid this one, so you will not be overcharged and will save your nerves and money.

Fantastic service... phoned in the morning, delivered within 2 hours and collected again on the day I requested!! Polite and helpful office staff and driver was very considerate of my grass borders!! Definitely use them again.

Drivers were excellent taking time and care to place the skip in a very tight driveway. Vehicles and skips in very good condition clearly showing the company details. Will use again and recommend.
