Outstanding service when I bought a necklace that was a bit too short. Contacted Queen and Collection via email. Got a response within 5 minutes with a solution (an extender) to be sent for free. Fair Review of My Experience With Queen and Co
I recently ordered several items from Queen and Co and wanted to share an honest and balanced review of my experience, particularly around shipping and returns.
To start with the positives, the items did arrive quickly, which I appreciated. However, the pieces were small compared to similar jewelry I’ve purchased from other suppliers. This became an issue when I tried to return them, as the return policy listed on the individual product pages was not consistent with the fine-print conditions in the company’s official return policy. As a result, my return request was declined.
Trying to exchange the items instead proved challenging. The communication process was frustrating, often taking close to 24 hours between replies. Because there is only a 7-day return window, this slow back-and-forth added a lot of pressure. I ultimately paid for express shipping to ensure my return would arrive in time, as I was given no indication of flexibility, especially concerning during the busy Christmas period. Although the support person confirmed they would follow the 7-day policy, they also suggested the parcel would likely arrive on time if sent the same day, which didn’t feel reassuring.
Unfortunately, I also found the tone of the customer service interactions quite condescending at times. Being addressed as “lovely” and receiving passive-aggressive closing lines like “thank you for understanding” felt inappropriate, especially when I had clearly expressed that I did not agree with the contradictory policies.
As for product quality, the T-Bar necklace in particular was disappointing. The gold tone looked unnatural to me, and the chain was much shorter than expected. The exchange piece I received was better in colour and looked more refined due to the thinner chain. The Magnum and Hue bracelets were acceptable in colour, but they closely resembled inexpensive pieces my kids have bought from Shein, despite being priced at nearly ten times the cost. In my opinion, they were not worth the higher price.
Overall, the entire process was far more stressful than it should have been. While shipping was prompt, the inconsistent return policies, slow and uncomfortable communication, and the quality-to-price ratio left me disappointed. Based on my experience, I would recommend looking at other stores that offer similar jewelery with clearer policies and better value.

However, there are a few important points that need to be addressed to ensure an accurate and fair representation of the situation.
Our Return Policy Is Clear and Not Contradictory
While individual product pages outline the standard return options, our full and complete policy — including exclusions for promotional offers such as 3-for-2 — is clearly listed under our Terms & Conditions, Return Policy, and Promotion Guidelines. These policies are industry-standard and in line with many online retailers.
We understand that customers sometimes miss the fine details, but we cannot change or override policies based on personal disagreements or preference. Declining a refund when items were purchased as part of a promotional offer is simply us following our published terms.
Our team responded within normal business hours at every stage, and never later than the next morning, even on weekend, which is standard, especially during the busy Christmas period. At no point were replies intentionally delayed or unhelpful.
In addition, our team uses warm, friendly language (“lovely,” “thank you for understanding,” etc.) with all customers. These terms are expressions of courtesy, not condescension, and certainly not intended to offend. We are sorry if you personally interpreted them differently, but the intention was always respectful and supportive.
We followed the return policy exactly as written: the 7-day window starts from the date of delivery. Because we had been communicating for several days, we even agreed that if the parcel was sent the same day, we would honour the 7-day timeframe — which was a flexible accommodation on our part.
Express shipping was your personal choice; we NEVER required it nor insisted on it.
All of our items — including the T-Bar Necklace, Magnum Bracelet and Hue Bracelet — are made with high-quality stainless steel and premium 18K gold triple plating. They do not use the same base metals as fast-fashion retailers like Shein, and they are manufactured under completely different processes, standards, and costs.
Style preference is subjective, and we respect your opinion, but comparisons to low-grade fast-fashion jewellery are not accurate reflections of the materials used or the craftsmanship involved.
We’re sorry that your experience didn’t meet your expectations, but we do stand by our policies, the quality of our products, and the professionalism of our communication throughout this process. We followed our terms consistently and accommodated where possible within those boundaries.
