Grateful nervous system As a massage therapist, I sincerely appreciate Desiree’s approach to healing. Her acupuncture treatment is effective at calming and balancing my nervous system and relieving pain. I love the way she integrates guashua, cupping and tuning forks into her practice. I feel the work on both the physical and more subtle energy realms. Normally I am quite jumpy with acupuncture but her intentional and caring way has proven to me that doesn’t have to be a part of the acupuncture experience.

I’ve been going to Desiree for Gua Sha, and she also does acupuncture. She is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and kind. She takes the time to listen, explains things clearly, and creates a calm, supportive environment. Her office is clean, comfortable, and relaxing, which makes the whole experience feel very peaceful. I always feel cared for during my appointments, and I appreciate the level of attention and skill she brings to her work. I highly recommend Desiree to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, thoughtful, and skilled practitioner.

It take 2 hours to drive to Seattle, but seeking a session with Desiree is worth every minute it takes. I feel so refreshed and balanced after her acupuncture treatment. Desiree is very knowledgeable and caring, I find it hard to find anyone closer to home.

I had my first session of a Microcurrent facial, and it was a great experience. The salon is small, charming, and lovely. The treatment was soothing and refreshing. I've had many facials over the years, but I never felt that I had any particular complexion response they way I certainly did with this procedure. I'm looking forward to regular sessions with Desiree. Great experience all round.

I can’t say enough good things about Desiree Merulli! She has helped me tremendously through a devastating diagnosis and the beginning of medical treatment. I’ve been going in every week for months now and each time I leave I feel reborn…which means a lot coming from someone who has debilitating chronic pain everyday. On top of being extremely skilled and knowledgeable I also feel that she has a gift for this type of work. As an acupuncturist she is so thorough and thoughtful, and has helped me with such a wide range of symptoms. I don’t know how I would have gotten through the last few months without coming here and I’m so thankful!

I have been coming to Desiree for a couple years, off and on. I initially came to her with neck, shoulder and some back pain due to stress. I had previously been to physical therapy several times and it never went away. I tried acupuncture and it helped. I felt a difference after just 2 visits. Her office is small and very relaxing I would highly recommend her service. She will explain the treatment and help make you comfortable each time. I now keep a pretty regular visit on my calendar for relaxation and I have enjoyed some of the other services as well.

I had an acupuncture session with Desiree today, and I absolutely loved it! Her website offered the convenience of booking online, so I was able to do it last night after hours. I went in this morning because I have a sinus infection, and I was looking for immediate relief. I went to the doctor yesterday, and I was prescribed antibiotics, but as we all know, it takes a few days for that to kick in. As soon as I walked into her office, I was greeted with the friendliest welcome. She sat with me and took her time getting to know my symptoms. The treatment itself was very soothing, and I feel it really helped! I also got a scalp massage with a yelp coupon, and oh my gosh...it was great! I had a headache, and it immediately relieved me! Unfortunately my insurance didn't cover acupuncture, but that won't stop me from returning. Thanks Desiree! This was a great experience!

Desiree Merulli could tell me that my parakeet died, a la &#39;Dumb and Dumber&#39; and I would have responded calmly and coolly. <br><br>She could tell me that fire ants had invaded my home and that a new strain of killer bees built a tank-sized nest outside my deck and I&#39;d be totally chill. Some people just have that demeanor about them, and if somebody is going to be sticking very small sharp objects in you, I think it should be a requirement to have this kind of bedside manner. <br><br>Her office is on the 16th floor downtown, and is almost comfortable walking distance from my work. I went to see her for a couple of things and know that I&#39;ll have to go back a couple of times to see quantifiable results. <br><br>She was extremely thorough in her questionnaire, and we talked at length as well. And, she accepts Cigna and Aetna.<br><br>It&#39;s a small office, not meant to hold multiple patients. Not that people go to get group acupuncture or anything (well, unless you go to the center in Columbia City). I laid down on a comfortable bed and was &#39;tenderized&#39; on top for a while with needles, then later flipped over to get the other side--including my ears. <br><br>If you&#39;ve never had acupuncture, it&#39;s kind of strange how relaxing it is. I was in there for an hour and it felt like 2 minutes and 12 hours simultaneously. I had a choice of essential oil (peppermint) for the after-treatment, which woke me up enough so I could get to my car. Satisfy your needle needs here!
