☺This place was spotless and so adorable! Little things like snacks and beverages in the fridge, along with croissants left on our door handle in the morning, really made our stay feel welcoming. Location was perfect for anyone needing something along the Ring of Kerry or close to Skellig tours! 10/10 ☺️

☺Breakfast was lovely and because the weather was good we were able to eat together as a group outside. If the weather was bad we would have had to eat in our individual rooms which would be less ideal as often breakfast is the meal where the day is planned. Perhaps an indoor option to eat with same arrangement upstairs would be better.

Authentic surroundings and a very comfortable suite.
☺Spacious suite in downtown. Modern amenities with comfortable beds and sitting areas. The provided snacks and light breakfast items were excellent. The host was very considerate, offering assistance with parking and help with luggage was very much appreciated.
Being on the Main Street and above a bar meant there was a lot of local celebrations, music and singing. We believe all the locals knew all the same songs and joined in. It wasn’t quiet, but it offered exuberant ambience.
☹We got the top suite, which was great - you have to be OK with stairs, or request a lower suite.

☺Restaurant was good with very good food. The room was pleasant although the bathroom was small and a little outdated. Breakfast was good. Pastries delivered to the room each morning and plenty of options in the room fridge
☹Wardrobe limited and only decent mirror is actually at the back of that wardrobe
Unfortunately we did not have a good stay here. We checked in and found our room had a smoke odor and there were hairs all over the bed. We are not fussy people so we just let it slide for 1 night. However the next morning we woke to no breakfast left in the fridge, 1 croissant and 2 measly dry pieces of bread on the door. To top it all off the ceiling started leaking all over the one side of the room. We tried to go to the front desk, looked for any staff, looked in the restaurant, and called the owner and no one was available. No staff at reception until check out at 11. And the nespresso machine had mold in the tank. Overall- no redeeming qualities.

We understand that things happen that are out of anyone’s control. I think we were most distressed that we could not get in contact with anyone in this “emergency”. Regarding breakfast, it wasn’t that we didn’t like it necessary it’s that we didn’t even any of the listed items. We paid for the bed and breakfast knowing breakfast included salmon, yogurt, fruit, etc but unfortunately none of that was left for us in the fridge. The only food we got was the “pastries” and again we could not get in contact with anyone to rectify the situation.

Regarding the "smoke like odour" in the room, I cannot explain as we have a strict no smoking policy, and the room you were in had not been occupied for more then a week previous .
We get all our linen proffesionally laundered and that coupled with a very professional housekeeping team, i do not understand how there could be hair on the sheet.
The leak from the ceiling, i sincerly apologise about, I have contated my plumber who will investigate tommorow, it must have come from a room above, we have a excellent maintenance team, incidiients like this are rare, it is something we cannot anticipate, but rectify immediately.
Our breakfast offering is and in room complimentary continental breakfast, everying is made in house, i am sorry it wasn't to your liking, but we do explain this clearly at the time of booking.
We do appreciate you taking the time to write your review, and we would love to have the opportunity to look after you and your partner should you be in the area again.

☺ The skellig suite was amazing so spacious and comfortable, also very high end, the room was exceptional and very clean, the staff were great and very helpful and informative,
The meal at the restaurant was also excellent and very reasonably priced, I would definitely recommend this place and would have no hesitation to book again in the future
☹ There wasn't anything I wasn't happy with during our stay
