I pride myself on my vehicles, have done some wrenching myself and driven racetracks/rally courses. I love cars, and am thoughtful of how I choose and care for them.
When my 2020 year Porsche Taycan Turbo with only 6,000 miles on it was hit... I was heartbroken. I can always spot and pick apart auto repairs... however not at Phil's. The bodywork and paint were seamless and invisible. My car was the same as or better than from factory!
Chad was exceptionally detail oriented and had fantastic communication. He even took my car to the Porsche dealership to take care of some open recalls that weren't associated with the accident.
Chad knows his high end cars... In fact he had just returned from a Porsche training at Porsches track in Atlanta for certification and repair.
All original factory parts were used and sourced despite the difficulty in doing so. I always knew what was happening with my car, the pricing was reasonable, attention to detail was EXCEPTIONAL. Most importantly the result was quite literally, "good as new".
I am a particular complicated car owner/client and I could not ask for a better experience and result! Thank you Chad & Phil Thearle's Autowerks!

These guys are the best! I was referred to them by Porsche San Diego (that says something right there). I had a scratch on my hood from a trolley crossing arm (dont ask). I knew it wasn't too bad but bad enough to see and it had to go. I spoke with Mark, a very very nice man who first emailed me an estimate then said to come in for a look. I did and he immediately told me "We can take care of this." He got some magic substance and a cloth and proceeded to get a scratch off my windshield and some off the hood. Miraculous! He told me to come back the next day and they would finish the job. I did, and in 25 min, scratch gone. I asked what I owed them and they said dont worry about it just leave us a good review. So doing what I promised. These guys are incredible. This is unheard of these days. It was just a good deed. Imagine that! If I ever need anything done on my vehicle again, you can bet I would trust them to do the job.

Sadly, my new car was damaged in a collision. After checking with
reliable sources, I chose Phil Thearle's Autowerks to do the repair. PT Autowerks, came highly recommended and is certified by manufacturers like BMW and Mercedes-Benz, using only OEM parts to do the work and is contracted exclusively by many San Diego area auto dealerships for their collision repair work. PT Autowerks, interacted directly with my insurance company and the repair was completed on time with no problems. Their customer service was exemplary and the quality of their work was outstanding. My car looked (and ran) as though fresh from the showroom. I would recommend PT Autowerks without reservation for collision repair.

I wanted to get my car repaired. I said I could bring it in on Friday morning because I was going on vacation. The lady said I could only bring it in in the afternoon. I said I couldn't bring it in in the afternoon because I was going to Kangaroo overnight on Friday afternoon. The lady told me that if I wanted to have it repaired, I could only do it on Friday afternoon. Very rude customer service. They don't want to make money. I don't recommend them. I was cheated by this company. I left my car for an estimate and was charged additional costs. The car was disassembled and returned to me in parts. God forbid, I do not recommend this company. People, think about what you are doing when you go to this company to repair your car. The car was vandalized. I do not recommend it. I do not recommend it. Melania cheated me and even started charging me additional costs for a rim that I did not order. I did not want to be charged 25% for sending it back. I did not order anything and did not ask for anything to order any rims., Mercedes s 63 AMG you know now the customer !!!!!!!! Show me my signature, woman, that I allowed you to buy parts and repair my car!!! I left the car for an estimate, not for repair. People, be careful with this company. My car was damaged more so they could abuse my insurance and collect more money. Be careful what you sign! I advise you against this company. It's a scam.

I've been getting quotes to have my truck painted due to rock and sand damage from years of off road use going down to Baja. These guys gave me an estimate which was more than double what any other bodyshop estimated. As I was there I had a chance to look at a car they were giving back to a customer and could clearly see the orange peel. Not sure what they are thinking, my wife and I can only assume they are professionals at one thing, sticking it to insurance companies. If you ever wonder why insurance costs so much, one only needs to look at this place.
