Always get at least 3 quotes and stay away from this company, quoted over $11,500 for a water heater replacement, 3x higher than the other quotes I received. They are a predatory private equity owned company acquired by Southern Home Services which is owned by San Francisco based private equity firm Gryphon Investors. Their business model is to charge exorbitant pricing and take advantage of people who don’t have any idea what the fair market competitive price actually would be, if they convert 1 sale they make as much as they would on 5-10 sales with competitive pricing by operating this way and it’s much less effort and actual work for them. They should be shamed out of business, they are a model for what is wrong with our nation now.

$20k+ for absolute garbage…..
Where do I even start. The initial installation was done so poorly that it caused an electrical short in my home, resulting in damage that never should have happened from a professional HVAC company.
The indoor unit had to be completely re-installed the very next day because of installation errors. Even after that, the system still isn’t working properly a week later. The thermostat continues to malfunction, and we’ve now had EIGHT different technicians come through our home trying to fix the same unresolved issues.
At this point, it feels like there’s no accountability or quality control—just a revolving door of techs without a real solution. This has been very frustrating as we pay for one of the very best systems/ packages from ProTech. I would strongly caution anyone considering using this company.
I am feeling the need to contact an attorney as I am feeling defrauded at this point. I just wanted a new working AC unit.
