Very expensive. They quote £4.5k for a job. There is no load above two walls where I asked for steel to be installed. The span of 1.2 metres only. They quoted £4.5k. Absolutely ridiculous. If you’ve got too much money to spend go for it.

Three vague photos were shared. No structural plans were shared.

Photos showed three walls. One wall assumed to require a cranked steel.

After steelwork would require boarding and plastering.

The cost was an estimate from photos. No site visit was conducted.

We wanted a double storey extension built and the entire roof of our property replacing. We found prorenovate online and they were local and had lots of good reviews for large projects. I can report that everything went well and the project concluded on time and on budget, and lasted about 7 months. We have a young family and found all of the team to be friendly, organised and trustworthy, and James kept in contact with us all through the work. They turned up reliably and on time, and regularly had 4 guys working on the job throughout. We had catch-up meetings with them along the way to make tweaks, discuss parts where the plans were not clear or identify finishing touches. It was reassuring for us to have good levels of communication and they were happy to provide advice and guidance where needed. Dan was great at providing support after the project to make sure everything on the snag list was complete. I'd hire them again - I cannot recommend them highly enough.
