Maria encourages me to embrace the Spanish language without fear! She corrects and explains thoroughly. As a native Spanish speaker , Maria imparts the language how it is used in modern everyday living. Her pace of speaking is clear and easy to understand. I would recommend her to anyone starting to learn the language or to those who wish to have a good conversation in spanish!!

I wanted to improve my basic Spanish as we have owned a property in Marbella for over 9 years; mainly to assist with the operations of the property overseas and also my long term personal planning to potentially move to Spain in the future. I have been learning with Maria for 1 year from a very basic knowledge base. Maria has developed my basic baseline of knowledge to build from, whilst making it fun and interesting at the same time. Learning at my own speed for 1 hour each week has helped learning Spanish in manageable amounts, whilst being able to fit this into my weekly routine of running my UK Real Estate business. I cannot recommend Maria enough. I really enjoy my learning with her!

My Spanish lessons with Maria were brilliant. I learned so much in a short period of time. Maria broke everything down clearly and concisely, ensuring that the lessons were fun as well as challenging without feeling overwhelming. Maria really helped build on my existing knowledge of Spanish and gain a more in depth understanding of the language. She was always patient and kind and helped me feel comfortable and confident in conversation. I would thoroughly recommend her as a teacher whether you are a complete beginner or can already speak some Spanish!

Estudiante de español He disfrutado siendo parte de nuestro grupo pequeño de estudiantes españoles que se han reunido en la casa de Melinda durante el último año y medio. Como profesora Maria es flexible con las fechas y el trabajo en las lecciones apela a nuestra variedad, experiencia y conocimiento de la lengua. Los temas, materiales y presentaciones son muy variados usando videos, libros, periódicos y juegos. Espero que mis esfuerzos como estudiante de español tengan buenos resultados.

I learned Spanish with Maria 1.5 hour a week in a group session for around 2 years, from complete beginner to an advanced level of Spanish. The classes were always friendly and fun and never felt like a chore to attend. Maria created good mix of theory and exercises and I didn’t really realise how much I learned until I was able to watch a movie in Spanish or talk with my in-laws . I am now planning a move to Barcelona for later this year.
