I contacted Medella Home Physio and OT in October on discovering my Uncle had developed an arm contracture whilst in a care home. Naomi was so helpful and after listening to my concerns recommended Kate. I cannot express what a difference Kate made to my Uncles life. Her care and compassion went over and above what she needed to do. She took time, often I think after the end of her working day to speak to me and keep me up to date with his care and condition. His quality of life improved with her involvement. She was able to teach the care staff ways to look after him to help minimise the pain he had and to give him back some autonomy. I wish every care home called employ a Kate to ensure that residents do not develop unnecessary contractures and are empowered to have some control back into their lives. Kate was able to advise, staff he eating, moving, exercises, positioning, correct equipment and so much more. I would like to express my heart felt thanks to Kate and highly recommend Medella as a company. Wendy.

I had recently had a fall and addtionally was having difficulty with walking. This had resulted in a loss of confidence but after a course of exercises provided by Seena Thomas I have recovered my strength and I am walking better, and with confidence. Seena is a delightful person and highly professional, approachable and encouraging. I would not hesitate to recommended the services of Medella.

I highly recommend Medella Home Physio. They have been looking after my father after a series of small strokes with kindness, compassion & encouragement that has seen him progress both physically & mentally. They have communicated with the care home staff to ensure they understand his needs, and have helped me with finding suitable wheelchair options when I was totally overwhelmed with the choices available.

We had Seena help my 91year old mum recover from a hip replacement operation last year. Seena was excellent at encouraging my mum to do all the appropriate exercises and getting her confidence back after her fall. We have been very pleased with the results. We have been using Seena on a weekly basis for 10 months as we see the benefit she is giving to my mum. She would not be as strong on her feet if we did not have Seena helping us. Thank you Seena

Jo was excellent in supporting my 99 year old dad after he suffered a hip fracture. She supported him to get mobile and provided exercises to help him regain muscle strength. Lots of incredibly helpful suggestions and an extremely positive and encouraging therapist- we are extremely grateful!

My daughter contacted Medella for advice after my major surgery and stroke. The receptionist was extremely helpful and felt Seena would be the right physiotherapist to help me. Seena has given a sympathetic but firm approach encouraging me to regain movement in both my arms and to also strengthen my legs. Her knowledge and expertise have been invaluable and her exercises gentle but challenging. I would highly recommend her.

Had a major worry post opp I wouldnt be able to cope to do the physio myself, I called mendella and had a lovely phone welcoming me with them and was allocated Jo, what can I say about jo ,made me feel so at ease and talked me through things and gave me a plan what I needed to do , Im on the 3rd visit this week and where I dreaded it, now I look forward to it. Most thing I worried about was pain but jo is very gentle and understands the body very well so she does it perfectly to my needs. Thank you again

Our father aged 98 had a fall and fractured his leg. When he came out of hospital he was advised to have regular physiotherapy to get him walking again. Seena worked with him on a regular basis for about 3 months and our father can now get around on his own again. Without Seenas skill, encouragement and patience i don't think we would be where we are today. She also kindly gave us regular updates on his progress. We are very grateful for all Seena has done and would unhesitatingly recommend her.

Thank you Medella! I was mostly bed-bound following a nasty ankle fracture when I Googled home physiotherapy near me. From the moment Naomi returned my call, I knew I had found the right match. She explained how Medella work, listened attentively, responded clearly and ensured a physiotherapist would contact me very soon, True to her word, Jo contacted me to arrange an initial visit including an assessment. From the moment of arrival, she was warm, professional, reassuring and very enabling. After each appointment, Jo emailed me a specific exercise programme which was measurable, achievable, relevant and targeted exactly what I needed including help with vestibular issues which had alarmed me. Jo responded promptly to my regular email updates providing me with further reassurance. I am now well on my way and, better still, continue with the exercises which are now a daily and enjoyable ritual with clear results! Thank you Jo, thank you Naomi. Given such high standards, professionalism other than dedicated commitment, Medella is assuredly highly recommended.

Catherine, our physio , provides motivation and optimism to just the right degree. My Physio (Debbie) has been wonderful 2 years ago I sustained multi fractures. I Underwent an operation for a hip replacement, repair of femur and after a 6 week stay in hospital I was finally allowed home. My mobility was very limited, plus I had a broken humerus, so basically I only had one working limb. I needed help!!! Unable to physically get to a Physiotherapist, I started to look for home physiotherapy. I was recommended Medella Home Physiotherapy. I contacted Medella, spoke to Naomi who was so helpful and arrangements were made very quickly to commence home visits. My Physio (Debbie) has been wonderful. Her care, expertise and professionalism has been outstanding. She has encouraged, motivated, given me confidence and helped me so much on my journey of rehabilitation. There have been ups and downs, as my health conditions are complicated, but Debbie has such a wealth of knowledge and is a constant source of strength and support. The transformation from the start of my journey with Medella to where I am now is remarkable. I could hardly get out of a chair and totally housebound. I am now getting around at home very well and doing household chores etc. I am getting out and about and back to Church and to the Choir to which I belong, which all helps to my general wellbeing. There is no doubt, I couldn’t have done any of this without Medella and Debbie, I am incredibly grateful to them and highly recommend their service. Thank you Naomi and Debbie for your continued support, it has been invaluable.

The physio provided by Debbie is outstanding. I can't recommend the benefits of having a physio highly enough. After being told by a hospital physio that he would never walk again, after 4 weeks with Debbie my dad is now able to walk with assistance and is making huge progress

I was very happy with the physiotherapy treatments received by Katy for my ankle fracture. I noticed improvements in my walking, balance and flexibility almost immediately. Katy was punctual, friendly and encouraging, and I found the home based service to by extremely convenient. I would definitely recommend this company.
