I always leave primp. feeling and looking like a million bucks! The atmosphere is welcoming with a relaxing vibe. The service is top notch. Jennifer is always available with her insight and professional feedback based on many years in the industry. She runs a tight ship and offers high quality services. Ashley is a color master and gives a FABULOUS hair cut. I almost hate to share this as she’s already so popular and heavily booked— don’t steal my time slots! Transparently, the prices are on the higher side but comparable to other salons that offer lesser quality services. It’s worth every penny and you truly get what you pay for. I also tend to get a full day’s worth of services so it truly balances out. The salon is full service offering aesthetics, makeup and tattoo artists, and so much more. Definitely worth giving it a try. I’m sure you will be hooked!

If you have thick hair see Michael! His experience speaks for itself in his technique and artistry. I have very thick hair and unfortunately I have suffered from some pretty lackluster haircuts in the past. However, Michael has this innate understanding with how to manipulate hair in a way that made my thick hair feel breathable again! It's the first time in a very long time where my haircut feels like ME. Michael is simply amazing!

I moved in from out of town and did my research to find a new salon in Charlotte. I saw great things about Michael, booked an appointment, and have never looked back. He’s awesome! He gave me true layers (like I’ve been asking other stylists to do for years and never could get them) and my color is amazing (I get complimented on it at all the time). Michael never tries to upsell you on things you don’t need and offers great advice. Plus we always have a good time hanging out! I highly recommend.

Michael was amazing! He really listened to what I wanted with my hair (a trim only because I'm so attached to my length), and he did an absolutely beautiful job on my color - my hair has never looked better. So happy to have finally found an amazing stylist in Charlotte!

Michael did a full balayage on my hair, taking it from brown to a beautiful medium brown/warm blonde, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional from start to finish. I was in and out in just a couple of hours, which I really appreciated, and I absolutely love how my hair turned out. I also have a sensitive scalp, and Michael was so gentle — no pulling or discomfort at all. Highly recommend him if you’re looking for great color and a great experience!

Another great experience at Primp with Michael. He always gives the best haircuts - I recommend him wholeheartedly. You won't be disappointed! The salon is great too - chic but not pretentious. Great atmosphere.
