We were happy with this little cottage but host was lacking in response time and attention. I paid for extra firewood and it was not supplied. When asked for a refund for this (two different emails) she chose to not even respond. Also, we arrived in April on a 21 degree day, no patio furniture was out for us to use on this weekend. Very disappointing.

We were unaware during your stay that the extra firewood had not been supplied. Had we known, we would have addressed the issue immediately. Unfortunately, we did not receive the emails you mentioned after your stay, so we were not aware of the concern until later. Once it came to our attention, we promptly issued a refund for the firewood charge.
Regarding the patio furniture, Southern Alberta experienced unusually late snowfall this spring, with winter conditions continuing well into May. As a result, the patio furniture had not yet been set out at the time of your stay. However, zero-gravity lounge chairs are available for guest use in the shed and can be enjoyed outdoors whenever weather permits.

We enjoyed our 2 quiet and relaxing night stay at Prairie Rose Cottage.
The hot tub was very relaxing as well as the comfy bed. The cottage was very cute and clean.
We also enjoyed a evening fire and a quick bike ride the next morning before we left.
We dined at the MacLeods Restaurant and Lounge, the food was Amazing!! So we went back the next day before heading home from our mini vacation.
Would definitely go back and highly recommend a stay at the Cottage!

We stayed here for our mini-moon after our fort macleod wedding. it was a beautiful little place. very cozy and exactly what we needed. the hot tub was a great time and it was very peaceful being out there under the stars in the cooler weather. we definitely recommend this place to others written genuinely had a really great stay!
Lovely stay. The place was clean, quiet, and private. We felt very spoiled with all the extra little details put into it, and complimentary items. This cottage is perfectly set up for a cozy getaway and has everything you need and more. The hot tub was so enjoyable as well. 10/10 would recommend to any of our loved ones passing through the area.

Probably one of my favourite Air BnBs that I have stayed in. The hosts really go the extra mile with making sure you have all the information you need. I really appreciate a guide book, and this was very organized and even came with a downloadable app with all the instructions and recommendations needed. There was tons of little touches like snacks, complimentary postcards/ pens that made you feel like you were staying at a night hotel. The place itself was clean, cozy and and we really enjoyed the hot tub and private deck area. We had never been to Fort Macleod so it was fun to check out the cute antique stores and old buildings. Would stay here again or recommend to friends.
