Portland Funeral Services provided exactly what I was looking for - to alleviate myself of any kind of to-do list and how to navigate it.
Given the emotional circumstances to be engaging their services, their sensitivity to attend to queries in a comprehensive but simply worded communications, their willingness to contact any other third parties such as the cemetery to confirm arrangements, they did it all for me and really gave me the sense of relief - Sorted!
Everything that was promised was delivered and they were supportive to our particular needs and what we could achieve with any limitations to our individual circumstance such as venue space, atmospheric preferences, private viewing for first allotted time etc. They really did ensure we felt we were the key decision makers and did their best to accommodate on everything we asked and we were more than satisfied with how the day went.
Their staff were nothing short of being superheroes and I fully applaud and support their efforts as being recognised and very much appreciated. Well deserved to all of their team members and staff, you really helped to pull us through a tough day.

It's hard to imagine there could be a better team than Portland Funeral Services for assisting with the loss of a loved one. Whilst feeling unfortunate enough to have needed their service on 2 occasions in the last 4years, we are so incredibly fortunate that it was this caring and professional team supporting us through these experiences that we didnt want to go through. It's hard to put into words, but we are forever grateful and i cannot reccommend them highly enough.

Cam, Ally and their team have now guided us through losing two very special family members. After losing our brother in 2021, we knew there was no question of who we wanted to support us through our father’s death a few years later.
To have a sense of comfort and calm during the funeral planning service, is a luxury - we knew we (and our loved ones) were in the best of hands, each time.
We had 2 completely different experiences, one during COVID with 6 people, and one after COVID with hundreds - and on both occasions our thoughts were heard and our plans followed through beautifully.

Ally and Cameron were amazing right from the start ! Nothing was too much trouble and everything explained in detail and honestly and the price excellent and extremely competitive without compromising on quality or detail
Ally and Cameron helped us in every aspect where we were able to conduct our own personal funeral service and buriel for our Uncle
It was the nicest most personal service we have ever been to
Cameron and Ally and two of their team members attended the service and buriel of Ian on the day to support us this meant the world to us
