Scott is truly awesome! My pump went out and reached out for a service appointment to possibly replace the pump (after one company told me it needed to be replaced). Scott called me and took the time to talk me through a couple trouble shooting ideas / tips. After one of Scotts suggestions my pump started right up! Almost spent quite a bit of money replacing the pump when it was a simple fix. Scott didn't have to help me (random person calling) and could have charged me for a service call to come out instead. Thank you Scott!

I cannot say enough about Scott. Our booster pump was running continuously and I reached out to Scott to schedule an appointment. He called and advised that he was booked through next week. He provided a few troubleshooting options and I attempted to resolve the issue. His initial recommendations weren’t working and he called me back the next day. We spoke for approximately 45 minutes between appointments. He took the time to research a few different troubleshooting options and ultimately found a solution. I am fairly handy and Scott was very helpful and patient. He not only helped me resolve the issue, he saved us $$$$. He deserves 10 🤩⭐️’s.

Scott is a true gem! I’m a first time pool owner, and even though I have been around pools all my life, that doesn’t compare to having to take care of one yourself! I installed my pool pump and it wasn’t doing what needed to be done. I called Steve to inquire if the company handles pool pumps, and he actually took the time to walk me through how to set it up properly! Steve probably saved me quite a few hundreds today! Thanks!!!

When our pump motor called it quits, I called Scott. He answered right away, and was able to diagnose the issue over the phone, he give me the option to eather replace the motor, or get a new pump. We do have an older system, so I decided to go for the new pump. That same day, he texted me a few options. Less than a week later, Scott had worked me into his busy schedule, and was able to come out for the install. What outstanding service! He was very prompt, courteous, and took the time to get our new pump up and running on such a hot day! He is also very knowledgeable, and his prices are fair! Would definitely recommended!

The Pentair pump didn't start but just hummed. We thought that the motor seized and needed replacement. Scott came and tested the motor and it was good. He found that it was the seal plate of the pump that needed to be replaced instead. He ordered the parts for us and came back on the other day, and got it fixed running like new. He charged very reasonably. He is very knowlegable, and tried to repair but not to push selling new equipments like other big box companies do. Highly recommeded.

I am not type of person to write review due to lack of patience and skill, though I wanted for good service. I couldn't prime my pool after motor run on low water and found Scott Smith online. Glad I found him. I had someone came by gave quote which surprised me but thought it is expected. Scott suggested options, repair or replacement with new VSF for long term power savings. He was patient in explaining the options, not pushy and even suggested check alternative places which turned out to be less expensive if I have chosen to replace the pump set. Decided go with him due to integrity and expertise. Today he did the repair and happy with the result; and only replaced the parts which really need to be. His charges are reasonable.

The Booster Pump for the pool was leaking, Scott had me take a few pictures, asked a few questions and was at the house the next day and fixed it within a half hour, he did not try up selling, knew what was required and took care of business, lol he knows things, very good tech, solid, I recommend his work.

Pool Motor Supply (Scott Smith) has done consistently outstanding equipment diagnostic, repair, replacement and related installation/electrical work for us for years and has once again delivered excellent service today by replacing our timer box dial on a Sunday morning. Scott is very knowledgeable in the pool equipment arena, has always recommended and installed the best and most appropriate equipment for us at the best price and has been 100% reliable over the years with an ongoing emphasis on professionalism and integrity. His pricing is very competitive and is so easy to understand that I don't recall ever having to question one of his invoices. So next time a pool equipment problem arises instead of calling a big box store or another independent services provider give Scott a shot at your business. Scott is a "fix first" technician. Compare that to most pool repair companies that take one look at a situation and quote a $1500 pump replacement. I have used his services 4 or 5 times over the last 10 years and am always amazed at his responsiveness, debugging abilities, and price fairness.

This is the company to use. I had an issue with my pump not coming on after talking to Scott he knew right away what it was and walked me through the app process I need to get on to reset my system. I called to see if they have a technician that could come out to troubleshoot my equipment because the pump was showing "offline". Rather than trying to set up an appointment to have someone come out, Scott immediately started asking questions and offering advice. We talked for a good 15 minutes or more and he helped me troubleshoot what my issue really was. I did a little troubleshooting using his advice. And then I called back and he helped me some more to be sure I was doing things right. He gave me all this advice free of charge. And I got my pool back up and running. He was the 3rd company that I had called, and all the others tried to set up appointments (several days out), to charge me a few hundred dollars just to send someone out. I can't tell you how much I appreciated Scotts friendly helpful advice without expecting payment. This was such an awesome, decent, and honest thing for him to do. I was able to fix my issue with just a couple of switches. But if I ever need another pool pump or equipment that he can supply, I will definitely be going to him for it!

My pool pump had a crack from the freeze. I thought it needed to be fully replaced. First, Scott asked me some questions to diagnose the problem on the phone (e.g. is the motor still turning on?). Then, to my surprise, he said he could likely repair it. He quickly fit me into his busy schedule and charge me a fraction of the replacement cost. Above all, he was kind and patient. Thank you,sir!

If you read nothing past this first sentence please know this company deserves the highest of high ratings!!! Our pool filter motor went out and I had a very hard time finding pool companies with enough expertise to help understand what exact model to replace it with. Two different branches of a major company in the area didn't have subject matter experts near by. A couple other pool companies didn't answer the phone or be of much help including our own. Nationwide online companies were of little help. I found this Pool Pump Experts and spoke to Scott. He doesn't serve our Grapevine area so he was going to make $0 but spent time to help us understand not only what motor to get but also the seals for the shaft etc. it was tremendous help. A few days later when I finally got someone to inspect our system for the install, they wouldn't install 3rd party motors or parts for various reasons. I can respect that. But when a $400 expense for a motor replacement was turning into a conversation about replacing our Jandy handheld control system with one that can be used on a device through an app for more like $4,700, I felt completely vulnerable as to what prices were in the proper range or what was really necessary. I called Scott back asking for advice. He didn't answer. I figured well he doesn't need to call me back being out of his area. He called back in 5 minutes on his way to his next job. He explained everything in crystal clear terms anyone could understand. It provided incredible peace of mind and allowed us to make a decision either way. Again he absolutely did not need to help us. Just imagine if you are a paying customer how well he will take care of you. On a scale of 1-5, he gets an off the scale 5+++. Very few companies work like this these days.
