Plymouth rock is awful. Was in an accident and the other driver was at fault and had Plymouth Rock insurance. This insurance company is awful at communication. Was told the appraiser would look at my vehicle with 5 days maximum 11 days later a decision was finally made about totaling my vehicle with an estimate of around $18k of damages. All that is damaged is steering tie rod, steering stabilizer, intercooler, bumper, and grill with a amount i priced out to be 3K. I asked to see the appraisers report and my request was brushed off. I was also told over and over again that i would have to pay the initial tow from the accident and the yards storage fees out of pocket and then submit it for a reimbursement all to get my vehicle released to be able to tow it to the shop im using. The shop that towed my vehicle says the truck is not totaled as well as the shop that is going to be fixing it. Since the day of the accident the communication has been awful and everything is being said with pay for it out of pocket and submit for reimbursement "if it is deemed reasonable" by Plymouth Rock insurance. Now no one is answering my messages or calls as im trying to get information but they are able to return calls to the shop my vehicle is at.

I switched from geico to plymouth rock last week and we made good deal and I started new policy and policy would start in January and they sent me the form I sign everything and week later plymouth rock calls me saying they want the policy to start in December and price goes up another 600$ . What kind of sick games are you guys playing plymouth rock?

I was in a head on collision over the summer and my car was totalled due to another driver making an illegal left turn into oncoming traffic. Plymouth rock was the other person's insurance and I've had to deal with them and we are 5 months after the accident and im still having to deal with them and it's truly like pulling teeth to get my answer and my money that's deserved. Every person I talk to tells me something different and seems like their own employees dont know the rules and protocol for a basic car accident. Truly cannot wait to be done with them and if your considering them as an insurance just beware. Absolutely ridiculous

You pay THEY DON'T We have had them for over 15 years. No claims no accidents, my son had an accident no one was hurt I had an accident I was hurt. They didn't even pay for the ambulance, that would even pay for x-rays MRIs nothing. We carried a very good policy have been very good customers and they have treated me as if I ran into myself. I am now stuck with ambulance bills medical bills etc. I would not recommend them their customer service very harsh very uncaring. They will deny anything you need to feel better from an accident that you had no responsibility for. They get your money and then they run. They have examiners who have never examined you ever in your life. If this is the way insurance companies are run what is the point of even having insurance if all we do is pay and all they do is take. We are required by law to carry auto insurance why does the law not require them to honor their commitment to you as a customer when needed. It's worthless completely utterly worthless to carry insurance it only benefits the insurance company.

This insurance company is trash do not buy!!! One of their policy holders hit and run my parked car and totaled it and they wont pay for it!!!

Good app. Easy to apply. My policy sucks. WAY Too expensive and I hope to never have to use it. Auto insurance is a scam, But it is the best quote I got so I purchased it.

I had terrible experience with Plymouth Rock Insurance. They canceled my full coverage without my permission and claimed that I called to request it - which makes no sense because my car is financed and there's no way I would ever ask for that. Their customer service unhelpful, and they don't take responsibility for their mistakes. They also increase my premium just because another person in my house has a driver's license, even though that person never drives my car, This company is completely unprofessional and careless. I would never recommend Plymouth Rock to anyone.

DECITFUL company stated my roof is 25 years old. This is untrue . I just moved into my own, in the pictures the INSURANCE INSPECTOR TOOK i still am MOVING IN. A family with 2 kids under 10 with a FHA. Thanks Plymouth - you are such a family friendly co! You should be ashamed! Also shrubs are not a hazard…they a grip. You guys should be more upfront with your gross guidelines. Wouldn’t recommend you my worst enemy! Note the boxes and items still not moved in. Also you stated my dog is a schnauzer, incorrect. She is a wire fox terrier! Look at all the facts you had incorrect - but hey reporting factually is not important to yall!

My experience with Plymouth Rock Insurance has been extremely disappointing. The lack of communication and accountability is unacceptable. I have been treated poorly and unfairly throughout this entire process, and it just progressively worsens each day. This has completely upended my toddler’s and my life for nearly a month. No one should have to go through this level of stress and frustration when they are simply trying to get the help they deserve. I cannot stress enough how incredibly frustrating this all has been. Update: Your response had an email for Benjamin Moore the paint company, which is honestly on point for the level of care Plymouth Rock has provided me since the day their client hit me and my toddler!

I bought a home last year and had to get home owners insurance with Plymouth Rock assurance. I recently got an email they are raising my cost over $600 a year. No explanation. I decided to call around a get a few quotes. Geico quoted me at $1096, compared to Plymouth Rock assurance that was trying to raise my homeowners insurance to $2158.00/year. I should also mention Geico was willing to give me WAY more coverage for the property. I called Plymouth Rock to give them the chance to address this & possibly bring down my rate, I was very respectful to my customer service rep, I told them right away that I did get quotes from other companies and that I had made improvements to the home,(new roof) and I was told previously if I changed the roof my cost would come down significantly . The representative offered no help, she said they wouldn’t price match, or bring my rate down AT ALL, & that “if it were her she’d go with geico too.” I was shocked they weren’t willing to price match or offer some sort of resolution. While I did like this company originally , they unfortunately lost a customer due to the insane price hike. I understand cost of business goes up but when another company is offering me more coverage at half the cost, it’s clear Plymouth Rock is just greedy.

I had a horrible experience with this company after my car was stolen. There was little to no communication throughout the entire claims process—I had to constantly reach out just to get basic updates. My vehicle ended up being in the shop longer than the rental coverage I was given, and they refused to extend it, even though the delays were completely out of my control. On top of that, their adjuster didn’t even know where my vehicle was at first, and when additional damages were found, they took their time getting to the dealership to approve the work. Somehow, that delay was put back on me. Overall, the process was stressful, frustrating, and unfair. I expected better support during a situation that was already difficult enough.

My sister informed me about this insurance company. I wish I stayed with Progressive! If you miss one payment, this company will decide to charge you for several months in one lump sum to pay off the balance. For example, I miss my payment of $214 which was due in August. The next month, I received notification that Plymouth was charging me $641 to pay the full balance off! I was shocked, due to the fact, I communicated with them and they refuse to listen to my plea for help. If you are searching for car insurance companies, don’t choose this one! They have no compassion for people who may have to experience hardship.
