Really great trekking company. Took us on the 12 day manaslu circuit. They made us feel very safe, always taking care to make sure everyone was adjusting to altitude properly. Our guide Mangal and Soujan were super knowledgable on both the mountains and the local culture/religion. Cant reccomend places nepal enough.
I have just completed the Manaslu Circuit with Places Nepal and had the most incredible experience. From start to finish, everything was handled with such care and kindness, and the whole trip ran so smoothly.
Suman, Naran, and Laxman were fantastic throughout — the perfect balance of fun, laughter, and professionalism, while always taking safety seriously. They made the trek an unforgettable experience.
I genuinely could not recommend these guides or the company more highly. I’ve had such an amazing time and will definitely be trekking with Places Nepal again in the future, I hope!

I recently finished the Manaslu circuit trek with Places Nepal and I honestly cannot recommend them enough! They organised absolutely everything from transport, accommodation, to food. They answered every single question we had before the trek started to make sure we were completely prepared. Mangal and Sujan were our guides and they looked after us so well throughout the 12days. They made sure we had enough blankets to be warm at night, that we were always full from our food, checked our blood oxygen saturation to check our adaptation to the altitude, ensured we did enough acclimatisation hikes whilst also having enough rest, and importantly treated us as part of their team and family (we even celebrated my partner’s birthday at 3,500m with cake). You will not regret going with Places Nepal, in fact you’ll have the best time that you’ll want to come back to do another trek with them! 😄

My girlfriend and I joined the 12-day group tour and we are absolutely thrilled. The pre-trip communication via WhatsApp was uncomplicated and extremely helpful. Places Nepal even handled the DHL shipment of our gear before we arrived. A huge thank you for that!
Our guides, Sujan and Mangal, along with the porters, were professional, incredibly friendly, and made the trip so much fun. Despite some weather-related changes (missing the Base Camp hike), they organized alternative hikes to ensure perfect acclimatization. The entire group conquered the Larkya La Pass without any issues.
Highlights: Sunrise at Manaslu and the pass crossing. The teahouses were well-chosen, and the food (à la carte) was included. If you are looking for a professional local agency with a family-like atmosphere, this is the place to go. We will definitely be back!

Manaslu Circuit Trek with Places Nepal team was an amazing experience. Nam, Kishore, and Laxman were exceptional hosts.
Their meticulous planning from the time of booking until the end of the trek went above and beyond what I expected from a professional agency.
I never had to ask for anything; they were always there, smiling and taking care of every need. Nam is an excellent guide, a captivating storyteller, and a masterful card player, his card tricks are too good.
Whenever I struggled during the climb, he or someone from the team stayed by my side, even when I told them to go ahead.
Honestly, I wouldn’t have completed the trek without them. I highly recommend them for any adventure in Nepal.
Nam also captures splendid pictures and videos during the trek.

I just finished the 10 day trek of the Manaslu circuit with Places Nepal and it was hands down one of the best experiences of my life!!! From start to end Places was incredibly communicative and responsive and went above and beyond helping my friends and I with logistics like airport pickup, recommendations for where to buy gear, etc. The trek itself was absolutely beautiful and so smoothly run. Our guides Sujan and Mangal were incredibly knowledgeable about the area. They both made us feel SO safe and added so much laughter and fun to our group dynamic. Their itinerary also acclimatized us so well ahead of Larke Pass that our whole group completed it with ease.
Overall, I would recommend this trek and this company 100 times over and am already itching to come back!

I just had the most incredible time with Places Nepal on the Manaslu Circuit trek! 🤩
From the initial booking until the end the communication was great and the whole trip was very well organized which allowed me to just focus on the hiking and enjoying the stunning landscape.
Our guides Sujan and Mangal were very knowledgeable about the region, fun and supportive in any kind of situation.
All in all I felt very safe along the trek and could not have asked for a better team to complete my first hike above 5000 meter. Hopefully I‘ll be back soon for the next hike with!

I just completed the Manaslu Circuit trek with Places Nepal and it was seriously one of the greatest experiences of my life. I truly cannot recommend this trek and company enough.
From the moment I inquired about the trek to my departure from Nepal, they were a wealth of information and incredibly responsive. They went above and beyond to make me feel prepared, meeting with me multiple times in advance of the trek once I arrived in Nepal to discuss logistics and ensure I had the appropriate gear.
Everything was taken care of from airport pickup, accommodation, food, bus tickets, and permits. The only thing you had to focus on was walking and enjoying the magnificent scenery and culture of Manaslu.
On the trail, they were so knowledgeable and expertly acclimatized us, ensuring our entire group safely made it over the pass! By the end of the trek the entire group - guides and porters included - felt like family.
I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and am already looking forward to returning to Nepal for my next trek with them!

Mardi Himal Trek with Places Nepal was absolutely amazing. The service they provided was exceptional and I’m so glad we chose this agency.
We had to delay our trek because of food poisoning we got before coming to Nepal. The guys literally took us to the hospital and postponed our trek without any problems. They also helped us rent and buy the necessary gear.
Communication was very smooth and quick at every stage. When we were at High Camp, my partner developed altitude sickness symptoms and our guide responded to my text message even at 2 am in the middle of the night.
The hike itself was incredible, even though we weren’t very lucky with the weather. We spent a great time with a fantastic team.
Mangale, Sujan you are amazing! If we come back to Nepal, we will definitely go trekking only with you!

Had a fantastic 3-day Poon Hill trek with Places Nepal. The communication throughout was professional and reliable. Our guide Mangal was amazing! I'm not very fit so had to take things slow and he was very patient and made me feel comfortable. We highly recommend him.
I took one star off because the transport standard should be improved, notably the car back to Pokhara had no seatbelts and felt unsafe.
