After living in mill basin for 8+ years and only really going to pizza damore for quick slices or pasta, I recently had the pleasure of dining in their newly renovated restaurant area. I am blown away by the quality of the food. We had the calamari (which was fantastic and same vendor and Michael’s), the spicy penna vodka and grilled chicken, and the halibut was the STAR of the show. Seriously every bite was better than the last. The fish was fresh, flavorful and the risotto was perfect. I will be coming at least once a week for just that. The restaurant has new vendors, new management and just seriously a breath of fresh air to the area.
