I had an amazing experience at Invictus! The pickleball sessions offered wonderful opportunities to connect with friends—both old and new. The coaches were outstanding—knowledgeable, supportive, and full of insights that really helped improve my game. The week wrapped up with an exciting tournament that brought new challenges and created unforgettable memories.
My days were equally delightful off the court, filled with great company and outstanding food. Every shared meal was a culinary masterpiece, enjoyed among fellow pickleball enthusiasts exchanging stories and savoring dishes that delighted our taste buds. The excursions were a highlight as well—exploring beautiful waterfalls, caves, and beaches made the whole trip unforgettable.
I highly recommend Invictus to anyone looking to grow their game while having a fantastic time!

I had a wonderful time at Invictus pickleball retreat. The setting is absolutely beautiful, and the accommodations are thoughtfully appointed and very comfortable. The food was truly divine, and every member of the staff and coaching team was responsive, helpful, and genuinely friendly. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish—I would highly recommend it!
I absolutely loved the tasting menu experience. The food was incredible, every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The service was outstanding, and the staff made us feel very welcome at all times. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere and the place itself, it’s truly charming. Overall, a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend.
OMG this was so wonderful in every way. Our cabana was like a dream, our own pool, close to courts and everything was perfect. There were six of us. Pickleball every day with lots of clinics, constructive feedback and help. We came away with lots of ways to improve our game. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were all taken care of. The excursions were well planned out, waterfall, caves and whale tale beach each one so amazing!
Food and cook was amazing as well. I would go back and recommend this whole experience to anyone.
What a wonderful place to improve your pickleball game, eat great food and meet new friends. The pickleball court set up was absolutely the best! The staff was amazing and very accommodating. Loved the cute cabinas and especially the outdoor shower. Waking up to coffee on the outdoor patio was fantastic. Listening to all of nature’s sounds coming to life each morning is a must if you visit Costa Rica.

Our trip to Invictus exceeded our expectations. From the friendly and experienced staff, the clean and comfortable cabins and fantastic meals, we were treated like family.
The Pickleball courts are 1st class. And the coaches, awesome. They are very experienced and knowledgeable.
The off site excursions were great. If you asked about going in to town for a meal, they would not only have a recommendation but also make a reservation and would help with transportation.
We would definitely go back.
A truly 5 star experience.

On Saturday 7th March, 2026, I had the distinct pleasure of dining at Invictus during a special event five course meal. The setting was lovely, the staff attentive, and the highlight of course was the meal cooked to perfection, which was quite the feat considering the number of guests. The accompanying wine we chose from the selection was lovely, enhancing the meal.
The added bonus was a visit by the owner ensuring our wishes were being met. Invictus is a welcome addition to Uvita in many ways.
Five stars and I can't wait for the next event!

We felt like we were right in the jungle yet still had plenty of WiFi and “civilization”. The food prepared for us was something different each night and was very good. The chef was wonderful, the guide took great care of us on our expeditions and made sure we had everything we needed and kept us safe. The Pickleball facility Was amazing and the coaches did a fantastic job and kept it fun and educational as well. I would definitely recommend Invictus for your next retreat/ vacation. Costa Rica is a beautiful place to visit.

The Invictus vacation was fantastic. The Pickleball Courts were wonderful. The staff went above and beyond to make sure the stay was pleasant. They kept you busy and plenty of food and drinks. This is Pickleball Paradise! The house was amazing, the food was delicious and the Pickleball was great! I can't say enough. The owner and staff bent over backwards to make sure our stay was perfect. I only got 2 mosquito bites the whole week without wearing repellant. There were surprisingly very few bugs in the house considering that we were in the middle of a jungle. I am planning to come back every year!

Great week of pickleball instruction. We did a one week all-inclusive camp. Courts, lodging, food and staff were fabulous. We met some wonderful people. Also had a chance to explore the local area, visited two local beaches and also did a waterfall hike. Costa Rica is one of our favorite places to visit. We would highly recommend Invictus and their pickleball camps. Thanks Jason for your hospitality and organization. Pura Vida!
My partner and I went to the pickleball retreat at the Invictus in Uvita and stayed at the cabina #11 with six other friends from February 5th to 12th.
So many joyful memories were created this last week, with the organizer Jason who was so helpful. He is passionate with what he does and he made everyone feel like they belong. His coaches were top of the line and were always positive with encouragement; they gave excellent drills for every level. Claudio and Pato, hats off to you, you were much appreciated.
The pickleball facility was extraordinary. The courts were clean and well illuminated at night. Even with the roof, it was still pretty hot and we preferred to play in the mornings or nights.
The Cabina 11 was wonderful. We had the bedroom downstairs and it was quite secluded. Some changes could improve the location as there is no hooks in the bathroom for towels and the bedroom itself could use some drawers and night tables to put our stuff at night. However, the overall unit is what exotic vacation feels like, with the infinity pool in the living room, beautiful decoration and the open space on the jungle.
Now the food. The chef Ricardo surpassed our expectations at every meal. I am glad that we were active as we ate good portions of gastronomic meals, I don’t think I would have fit into our pants on our way back.
I cannot finish without mentioning Farmel. He was always there to answer our questions, provide transportation if we needed, organize our outings and accompany us in our travels.
Jason managed to surround himself with a topnotch team and I wish we will see all of you again very soon.

Hi we just spent Feb 5th-12th 2026 at Invictus pickleball Vacations in Uvita Costa Rica and it was hands down one of the best Vacations we have had! The nice little Cabinas were great!the food and staff were great, they catered to me being vegetarian with kindness and a smile! Now the covered pickleball courts were the best I’ve played on and the coaching was very professional and personal! The excursions were top notch! By the time we left we had new friends and it felt like family! Thank you so much Jason and Maddy and crew for the great memories!

The covered courts are second to none, the coaching was personal and extremely professional, the food and drinks were beyond all expectations, and the cabina’s are just as cute and comfortable as could be! Invictus Pickleball Vacations is a fantastic Pickleball retreat destination. The coaching and facilities were top-notch — the newly constructed covered, lit courts were excellent and the instruction and coaching from Jason, Claudio, and Pato helped us to improve our game. Jason leads an encouraging, positive team and was always quick to answer questions before and during our stay.
Ricardo and his team provided excellent, healthy meals every day with great variety — fresh, flavourful, and accommodating of different allergies. We shared Cabina 11 with 3 other couples, which was beautiful and the private pool was extremely convenient. It was like a second home for us!! Jason and his team were always attentive to our needs. My only wish is that room sizes were more evenly sized and that there were more hooks and shelving for our clothes. (The washer and dryer included in the Cabana was greatly appreciated…as the heat, humidity and pickleball games necessitated frequent washings!!)
The two beach excursions were lovely, and the visit to Nayauca waterfalls was enjoyable though a bit challenging for guests who had to walk in the heat. All the staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended for anyone wanting serious play combined with a relaxing, high-quality off-court experience. We’d gladly return — thank you, Jason and team!
Constructive note: consider adding non-slip mats or carpet around the pool edges where there is wood flooring— It is a slipping hazard which we had personally experienced a few times.
The back legs of the lounging chairs should be protected with some foam. On 3 separate occasions, 3 of us stubbed our toes on the back legs which protrude from the back of the chairs.
Whether you are planning such a retreat by yourself or with a friend or friends, I am sure you will not regret the experience..
