My normally very healthy, happy 16 month old chihuahua suddenly became very ill and had to be rushed to the animal hospital. After lots of tests and an overnight stay plus a week of strong antibiotics, she is now back to her normal lovely self. PIA accepted all the claims and processed the payments whilst I was still at the hospital. I could not be happier with the service I received from PIA.

Cancelled a year ago and they have kept charging us! I called last year and got them to cancel and the man on the line said he did but we were charged again. We are very unhappy about this. Avoid because you cant cancel it! This is the second year running.

Our troublesome 3 year old Great Dane has been with Pet Insurance Aus since she was 11 months old. Recently, we’ve had some health issues with her that has required extensive diagnostics and surgery at a specialist practice. Pet Insurance Aus have been nothing short of amazing throughout the entire process! The claim is processed on the spot through our specialist and returns with the gap payment to be made in approx 10 minutes. There are never any questions, and we even had the team reach out to check if my dog was ok (she has now had 6 claims in the past 2 months). It has really taken some extra stress off me during this process, as I’ve had insurance with other providers and not had the same great experience. Our fortnightly fee is very reasonable, and I have and will continue to recommend PIA to all my friends & family.

Recently, our Cat Gatsby had problems with severe FLUTD, which eventually required major surgery to resolve. Pet Insurance Australia covered about 80% if the significant costs for his treatment via the GAP only option. Even though the out of pocket expense was significant, it would have been so much worse without PIA insurance. The GAP only offering is fantastic and there were no issues with processing the claim for the surgery.

Recently both of my pups were bitten by a tiger snake in our home. This was such a scary time and I couldn’t have asked for anything better regarding the overall experience with our Pet Insurance.
The payments were put through gap pay and I only had to pay the excess.
We had a couple of issues with allergic reactions with Norm and everything was dealt with perfectly.
I’m so grateful for our Pet insurance.

Pet Insurance Australia has exceeded my expectations. Our dog Roxy a Red Cattle dog has done two crucial ligaments with in 6 months. With submitting reports to PIA, they granted us ex-gratia on the second claim in the same year, so we were able to have the surgery on the second leg, two months before OUR Policy renewal. Roxy's is still in confinement stage at present from the second operation but is certainly looking forward to freedom!

Doja Cat was diagnosed having swallowed a foreign object by the wonderful Drs at Sash. On the same day she was admitted to surgery. PIA came through and provided a quick estimate of cost cover making a stressful situation more manageable. Thank you PIA for helping me look after my two beautiful cats. Pet Insurance Australia has been an amazing partner as our dog, Jasmine, goes through chemo. They have fair premiums and a wide coverage. Plus, PIA offers Gap-Only so the whole pay/claim/rebate process is handled right there at the Vet's. This has made a tough time much less stressful.
