Granted, this is a big task. Can't help but wonder why moving costs are so high. Understand insurance, gas, etc. and three movers. Felt $3,900 was a lot, especially for 70+ seniors who are on a fixed income and are not able to lift heavy objects. Two thirds of the price was driving from one location to another, or about 7 hrs. The actually loading and unloading amounted to around 4 hrs.

Mutual things broken they wrapped my glass with my clothes and blankets from around the house so when trying to take everything out is a nightmare horrible work do not use this company

Hello, I can’t find a customer in our data base that matches the displayed name. We sincerely apologize and would like to be given the opportunity to make this right, please give our office a call at 209-422-6931 so that we can look into the logistics of this move, make this right with you and take corrective action with the crew who was on this job. The only situation I can see this happening in is if we were not scheduled for packing services and those services were indeed needed last minute so the crew had to work with what they had if the job-site wasn’t local to Salida and material delivery wasn’t an option.

Exceptional Service for a Delicate Move! We recently hired Pete's Moving Co. to move a very heavy and incredibly valuable glass conference table, and I am beyond impressed with their service. On moving day, the crew arrived on time and fully equipped with the right tools and protective materials to ensure the table was safely secured for transport. Moving something as large and delicate as a glass conference table could easily have been a stressful experience, but the team handled it flawlessly. They carefully wrapped the table in protective coverings, and used great techniques to lift and load it without a single scratch or bump. I was especially impressed by how smoothly they navigated tight spaces and doorways. Not only did they manage to move the table without any damage, but they were also friendly, efficient, and respectful throughout the entire process. They truly went above and beyond, making what could have been a stressful situation completely hassle-free. They made a potentially difficult move look easy, and I’ll definitely be using them for any future moves!

I have back problems and can't carry or pick up heavy things without my back starting to spasm, and we don't have too many people in the area that were going to be available to help us move, so I scheduled Pete's to come and take care of the job for us. Johnny & Chris were awesome, they carefully moved all the furniture and boxes from my upstairs 2bd apt to our new apt. Super nice and even helped take apart my daughters mirror from her dresser because we didn't have the right tools. Even though the job took way longer than we expected (when youve been living in a place for over 10yrs you accumulate way too much stuff!), they got it done. Hopefully won't be moving for a very long time, but if I do, I know who to call and schedule! Definitely recommend, ask for Johnny & Chris!!
