Dr.Rahmani was recommended to me by my mother and it was the best decision I could have made. I went in for an exposure procedure and was very nervous at first given the complexity of my specific case however, the procedure was so fast and successful. There was little to no pain. Additionally they followed up with me afterwards and were accommodating throughout the whole experience. The level of professionalism is unmatched. Post-op Dr.Rahmani still made it goal to follow up with me and my healing process which has been seamless. I would definitely recommend coming here and am grateful for Dr.Rahmani in helping me!
Seeing Dr. McEntee has become a ritual for me—I always look forward to our thoughtful discussions on nutrition, diet, and overall health. She goes far beyond just caring for my gums; she genuinely cares about my overall well-being. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who is not only exceptionally professional, but also deeply attentive and truly invested in her patients.
Very disappointing experience.
My front bridge treatment took over 6 months, with repeated issues including temporary teeth falling out multiple times.
The final bridge fell off within 4 days, and I was unable to reach the doctor before the holidays. I had to seek care from another dentist at my own expense.
I also reached out to the clinic afterward but received no response.
The fit was poor and affected my speech.
Overall, not the level of care I expected.
Update: The office responded claiming they cannot find me as a patient. My review is posted under my English name, which may differ from their records.
I was treated by Dr. Pae for over 6 months for a front bridge, with repeated issues. During late December to mid-January, when Dr. Pae was away, I was unable to receive timely care.

To clarify for accuracy, your implant placement and the original final bridge were completed at another office prior to your presentation to us. When you came to our practice, the prosthesis was already finalized and you were dissatisfied with the result.
Our role was to improve an existing, complex situation within the limitations of the implant positions and the custom abutments already in place. As is well established, implant position and angulation directly determine the design, esthetics, phonetics, and overall outcome of a bridge. In cases where those foundational elements are not ideal, there are inherent limitations to what can be predictably corrected without starting over.
We made every reasonable effort to improve the fit, thickness, and overall function of your prosthesis, and there was a measurable improvement from the condition you initially presented with. However, we understand that the final outcome did not meet your expectations.

I cannot express how grateful I am for Dr Ramani, Dr. Pae, and the rest of the team. After years of frustration with constant bleeding around my upper left implants and several thousand dollars spent, I finally found the right specialist in Dr. Rahmani. I had one-piece zirconia implants placed in 2017 by another office, and despite multiple attempts elsewhere—including prior laser therapy—the bleeding and inflammation never fully resolved. These professionals said I needed to learn how to floss and left it at that!! “Caveat emptor,” dental work is not inexpensive, so please do your homework before you engage a provider for services.
My first visit was in May 2024. The exam and X-rays showed inflammation and horizontal bone loss. Dr. Rahmani indicated that the crown contours were contributing to the problem. The plan was clear, staged, and conservative where possible.
First, Dr. Starace performed LAPIP (Laser Assisted Peri-Implantitis Procedure) to calm the tissues and reduce bacterial load. Once this procedure was completed, Dr. Rahmani proceeded to the Peri-implant surgical debridement and precise osseous re-contouring to support healing around both implants. On the same day, the prosthodontist Dr. Pae fabricated new provisional restorations with improved cleansable contours.
I would like everyone reading this review to understand that I had grown so accustomed to the site bleeding off and on for a few years that I was resigned to the potential outcome.
The crowns were not placed correctly, and the work done by a previous dental team was causing a “food trap”. If I had not come to Manhattan Periodontics, I would have been well on my way to losing the costly implants due to bone loss.
While it’s not my intent to disparage anyone in the profession, it’s also important to note that the Manhattan Periodontics team looked at this problem from a 360 view and came up with a solution that is nothing short of brilliant. It was all a matter of caring enough to do the best job possible in a very skillful manner, thinking outside the box. I have extremely high standards, and this team surpassed my expectations.
Beyond the excellent clinical work, the experience was outstanding, with thoughtful explanations, gentle care, on-time visits, and seamless collaboration with the prosthodontist. solved a complex, long-standing problem that others could not. If you’re dealing with peri-implant issues or “mystery” bleeding around ceramic implants, this is the periodontist you want in your corner!
Even though I have not had any procedure done with Dr. Rahmani, I must say that my experience with him has been very pleasant. He took the time to really listen to my concerns, and not only that, he has been very open towards receiving my follow up questions via email as well. He truly cares and is sincere in helping. The front desk, Flo, has always been kind and proactive in checking if I have any follow up questions.
Had to come back and write another review post op for 3 extractions/3 bone grafts with Dr. Rahmani. Before the operation Dr. Rahmani and his entire team did everything they could to make me feel at ease. For the first time in my life I was actually relaxed, at ease and pain free the entire surgery for almost two hours. During op he would explain to me what’s going on, tell me what’s he’s doing, ask me how I’m feeling and doing. The level of care and dedication that this office puts into their craft is unmatched. I literally went from avoiding the dentist for 17 years because of FEAR to not having any fear any more and actually wanting to get everything done that I need as quickly as possible because I know this team will take exceptional care of me. For once in my life I look forward to going to the dentist. I never thought those words would come out of my mouth. I would give 10 stars if possible!
I am happy to recommend Dr. Rahmani for his skillful revision of a previously unsuccessful gum graft procedure done by a different periodontist at another practice. I went to Dr. Rahmani, hesitant to go through the process again given my previous discomfort and failed efforts. Dr. Rahmani‘s not only performed the surgery with great competence but also gave me a very detailed recovery protocol, including antibiotics, a mouth rinse and numerous pills to promote healing and minimize my postoperative discomfort. Additionally, Dr. Rahmani put a protective clay on the roof of my mouth, (which sounds awful but ended up being a game changer for my procedure this time around) promoting healing and minimizing my post-op discomfort. Within 48 hours of the procedure I had a major reduction in pain (vs previously the pain lasting 2 weeks), and have continued to heal successfully without complications of major swelling or pain. Dr. Rahmani did a beautiful job repairing my gums and was very transparent during the entire procedure, letting me know what to expect both during and after. He is very attentive, calm and extremely skilled. I highly recommend Dr. Rahmani for anyone who has to address gum recession with a gum graft.
