Went to Nassau Golf looking for a new shaft for my three wood. Met Robert & he installed a new shaft/grip with in a day. His knowledge is beyond impressive & he has helped me tremendously with perfecting my swing. As most golfers know, your swing is the most impactful skill of the game. I highly recommend talking a lesson! Not only will your swing improve, you will be taught by a skilled professional in the field. Robert’s teaching is top notch!
I took a 30 minute lesson today at Nassau Golf with Robert. It was a great experience and reasonably priced, especially considering the high quality of instruction.
I am a beginner golfer. I just started two months ago. I love the sport, but I could tell I was not getting anywhere by just following youtube tutorials and hitting hundreds of balls.
I have a lot of swing faults, but I was really struggling with how to stand at address, backswing position, and how to start the downswing. After watching one practice swing, Robert picked up on all of that and got to work on helping me fix it. I look forward to practicing what he taught me and coming back for another lesson.

If you are looking for a swing doctor, Rob is your guy! His insight into the little things that build the picture of a great golf swing are second to none and he is skilled at conveying these idea to his students. His focus on perfection had me leaving the lesson with takeaways that have improved my distance, accuracy, and have made the game easier! Not to mention, his setup at Nassau Golf's shop is one to be envied by any dedicated golfer. I hope to visit the shop again soon and work on my swing some more with Rob's expert guidance!
This is the second set of CBI irons from Nassau Golf, gotten a little older and got a set made with graphite shafts…They hit better than my original set, glad I went back…

I came in to update my driver shaft from a beginner flex. It was clear this shop is unique and the only one run by a PGA renowned club engineer. Bob was ready to check out my swing and see what I needed, fitting me with a quality shaft, length and grip to my liking with consideration for my budget. He also gave me some needed swing tips that added distance right away, after getting used to those with the new driver I've been hitting some personal best tee shots. I'll be back in for a lesson and any equipment upgrades in the future.
I stopped in because I needed my clubs regripped. Robert took the time to walk me through all the options and his recommendation was spot on.
I also decided to take some golf lessons before looking at new clubs. His teaching methods are some of the best I have ever experienced. I was striking the ball significantly better after the first lesson.
He is the real deal. If you want an honest, patient instructor and business owner, go see Robert. You will be happy you did.

I happened upon Nassau Golf while searching for golf grips near me in Long Beach. I spoke to Robert on the phone and set up an appointment. He regripped 7 irons for me and he told me I can have them the same day.
The grips are made on site and are of superior quality. He checked my top hand grip and said he needed to build it up. What a difference in my game. The club isn’t turning in my hand at impact.
I was also very impressed with Robert’s knowledge on all things golf including his patented irons, drivers, putters, bags, etc. I will be using Nassau Golf for my golf needs including lessons.
