I have known Leanne and Tim for well over 16 years now my Birthday was November 7th of 2025 and I was greeted by Leanne with a big " Happy Birthday " and doing some catching up as Friends do, and she even helped me find the last copy of one of Christopher Penczak's Book. Pentagram is like a home away from home its warm and cozy inside and the staff are wonderful this is in my opinion a place I love coming too everytime me and my fiance Michael come here there is always something new or amazing to look at it. and I know this might sound like a biased review because I am good friends with Leanne and Tim but I assure you this place is a must see Leanne and Tim are the most magickal people I have ever met in Salem and I will keep going back...... I give this store 5 stars Hands down

My husband and I have done 3 readings here over the years and always look forward to experiencing a reading whenever we are in town.
During this trip, I had my first personal medium reading with Nathan which really brought a lot of deep clarity and understanding for my past to give me the confidence to continue in my journey with peace. Being that this was my first time getting a medium reading, I had no idea what to expect but had no idea how healing it would be to hear the things that came up!
We also did a couple tarot session with Dominic and it was wonderful for both of us and gave us wonderful insights that we look forward to seeing unfold in our near future.

i'm sure the experience is nice, but i wouldn't know. i was late to my appointment because GPS was inaccurate and i could not find the spot, so i tried calling their number to ask for directions but was sent to voice mail (thrice). when i finally found it, i was already 3mins late to the appointment and i was told i couldn't be rescheduled or refunded.
i understand that this isn't entirely their fault, but i don't appreciate their customer service (not answering calls) or the fact that they don't have some kind of system that helps customers get some kind of satisfaction in these types of situations -- e.g. at least a quarter refund, a discount for a future purchase, or just the ability to reschedule the same way it is on their booking website.
$50 for a 15 minute session is not something one can easily shrug off, especially if one has made efforts to NOT miss their scheduled appointment. it's a bit unfair and overpriced as is. as of right now, i would not recommend this service to anyone, and i'd hope one can find a different provider in salem.
I'm genuinely sorry to hear about your experience and the difficulties you had getting to the shop. We are a small business and unable to have a dedicated person to answer the phones Friday through Sunday, with the volume of customers in our store.
We do state prior to making your purchase on the website and we have it posted in the store that we can not move your appointment or refund you do to tardiness. We would lose the time that was dedicated to you, and if we moved it we would then lose the time that would be dedicated from moving your appointment as well.
We do send reminders about your appointment that have a link to our GPS location, which seems to have helped, but I will consider some other ways to help in the future.
The policy that we have implemented is standard for shops in Salem. I appreciate your feedback regarding our appointment policies; it's important for us to consider ways we can better accommodate situations like yours. Your thoughts on customer satisfaction are valuable, and we'll certainly take them into account as we review our processes.

My annual visit is not complete without a visit to Pentagram. This is an authentic metaphysical shop with extensive offerings of books, jewelry, alter tools and spell work needs. Leanne, who with her partner Tim, have truly created a magical space located near the Witch memorial. My 30 minute readings with Leanne are always on point. Practical and upfront guidance is given and Leanne is as authentic and down to earth as they get. I will be back next year ! Please visit Pentagram during your Salem visit - you'll be glad you did.
