I needed an excavator on a patio job, so I reached out to Jason at Penn Excavating Services LLC. An existing patio was removed, grading was done for the new concrete patio, holes drilled for the new roof footers, and a trench dug for rainwater management. As the contractor for the job, I appreciated Jason's communication before and during the project. It is vital to the schedule and getting work done so we can keep the project moving. Communication was excellent but even more excellent was Jason's professional approach to the job. His operating skills are impressive and attention to detail is what I respect in any sub contractor. Honest, professional, good communication, very good on the machines, they went over and beyond my expectations. I’d use them again and you should also. They moved dirt around, installed drain, got water to run away from house, install stone and seeded grass. Job well done.

Excellent service from start to finish.
I had an old pond system that Jason helped figure out. We had a major drainage problem with one of the ponds. The pond was over 30 years old and the old drainage system was basically non-existent. Jason dug the pond out and reshaped the banks. He also replaced the drainage system and developed a new runoff. Impressed with how he created a new watershed and built up the banks. He is very skilled with an excavator.
Professional and punctual from the first consult, troubleshooting, and making sure the job was complete. Ponds are running and functioning as they should.
Highly recommend Penn Excavating Services. I would not hesitate to use them again!

I hired Penn Excavating Services to completely transform my yard and I couldn’t be more impressed with the results. My backyard was severely sloped and basically unusable, and my front yard was also on a slope. Jason and his team came in, assessed the job site and performed a full site analysis. They determined that no additional material would be needed to achieve what I wanted. This was a huge cost saver for me. They expertly cut and leveled my backyard and reused that material to fill and level the front yard. Everything was graded perfectly to ensure proper drainage.
