Stunning location, easy access (short walk) to beach. Spacious modern house, bright and airy. Well appointed. Bed in room with balcony very comfortable good quality curtains. (Black out) It was windy during our stay not draughty. Main bathroom very spacious, well appointed utility room. Dining table set to enjoy the sea view whilst eating or sitting chatting. House was very comfortable and not cluttered. Fortunately we did not need to contact host (s) during our stay, but with the communication we had via text and e mail, we felt reassured if we had required them they would have responded positively.The area of Pembrokeshire this property sits in is gorgeous / stunning and varied from deciduous woodland, rivers and mighty cliffs. The house is overlooked by the mountain “ Mount of Angels “. Carn Ingli A fabulous climb, incredible view.

We had the best stay at Joes place. The house is gorgeous. The views are incredible and Joe was so helpful before we arrived. The best recommendations for food. And the house manual included everything you could need. We can’t wait to go back there

Lovely stay at Peg Y Don - beautiful location and beach. Coastal walking was fabulous and it was brilliant to be able to walk straight to the beach and not worry about parking etc.

Absolutely gorgeous location, so close to the beach, coastal path walks and walkable to the shops, pubs and restaurants in Newport.The house was everything we needed for our family holiday and we can't wait to come back here again. It was a perfect holiday.

Peg-y-Don is in a quite magical situation looking over the golf course to the beach and sea beyond. I could have sat in the garden mesmerised by the view all day long.... The house is spacious and very well appointed with really comfortable beds and everything one needs for a perfectly relaxing holiday. The location and views are stunning.Bedding and linen was great, gave us good rest. Book swap is a fun idea! Most importantly very clean and well equipped kitchen. Our family spent a week at this fantastic property and absolutely loved it. The house was exactly as described in the listing, incredibly clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed.The highlight of our trip was definitely the views—they are absolutely amazing to wake up to every day! The location is also fantastic, with lots to do right in the local area. We spent plenty of time down at the beautiful beach and loved taking walks along the scenic coastal path.Communication with the host was smooth and helpful throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this property to anyone.

What an amazing find! Peg -y-don is. An absolutely wonderful place to stay for your holiday. Everything we needed for our weeks holiday was right here. Newport beach was great for our dog Eva as she could run free all week. I could not believe how quiet the beach was considering we arrived on a bank holiday. The views from Peg-y-don were stunning, especially the sunsets. Fantastic communication with our host Jo. He responded quickly to any queries we had. Hopefully we will be back again next year for a longer break. One week is not enough! 😊 UPDATE Could not seem to put another review up so have added to last year's review. Yes! We were back again this year for two weeks at Peg-y-don more excited than ever as we knew what we were returning to. Beautiful views, cozy home.wonderful beach, peace and quiet.... I could keep going on about the wonders of Peg-y-don and Newport. Weather more windy and a bit on the chilly side this year but nothing stopped us heading out to lovely Newport beach. Eva our hairy German Shepherd was ecstatic then a few hours later happy contented and exhausted. We will be back next year, so looking forward to it already. Thank you Joe for letting us stay in your lovet home Carolyn John and Eva 😊

We had the most brilliant time at Peg-y-Don. The house is idyllic and everything you need ( including stuff you didn’t know you needed) is there. Fabulous location with a cafe nearby. Great base for walks and even a swim. Thoroughly recommend!

Amazing views and moments from the beach. Lovely place and family friendly, and as described. Very private and quiet, notwithstanding the odd golfer walking by each morning. Very friendly and responsive host. Highly recommended. Ideal for dog owners and golf lovers (but we are neither and still had a very nice time).

Our second stay at this stunning property. Breathtaking views of Newport Bay, everything we needed in a beautifully furnished and well equipped property. Our dog enjoyed amazing walks along the beach which is just a 2 minute walk across the golf course. We will no doubt be back and would thoroughly recommend this to anyone who wants a peaceful stay with some of the most spectacular views in Wales.

We had a great stay. It was in a fabulous location. We completed a great walk to a look out spot. The weather really made it. Newport was very cute with good facilities. We had a lovely meal in one of the pubs. We would def come back but probably try and stay for longer as two nights goes so quickly.

We had such a wonderful weekend at the end of February at Joe's place. The house was pristine, the rooms spacious and extremely comfortable. The views over the beach were fabulous and the whole of downstairs flowed perfectly. We recommend this 100% - and we even stopped for brunch in the CatRock café after we checked out. Perfect!!
