Dr. Rose came to our home and sent our beautiful Petey to the Rainbow Bridge. The process was peaceful, sweet and dignified. We really appreciated Dr. Rose's compassion and professionalism through this painful expression of love to Petey.

I had the most amazing experience with Dr. Chapman. It was genuinely the most peaceful experience I've ever had letting go of one of one of my pets. She took the time to get to know us, learn our story and showed my dog Bodhi so much love and grace that I truly felt like she saw him as I did. She validated my decision with a solid veterinary description of his experience. She put my mind at ease and gave me confidence that it was the right time and that Bodhi was ready. And he truly was. I have no regrets. But it really helped to get her professional opinion. She had perfecting timing during the process, she never made me feel rushed. She let me share my stories, asked questions and made me feel heard. All the while showing my boy deep-felt compassion. She answered all of my questions and talked me through all of the little details. She coached me through every moment explaining every twitch and every breath. She encouraged me to hold him and cuddle him and give him constant affection as he was leaving this world. The decision was so hard. But I'm at peace now and so is Bodhi. I'm so grateful she was the one there for us today. As difficult as it can be, she managed to make it a beautiful experience. Thank you Dr. Chapman. I'm going to refer you like crazy. Everyone should feel as at peace as I feel today. R.I.P. my sweet boy, I'll see you on the other side. Dr. Chapman, he and I are grateful for you. You've chosen a difficult, selfless profession but you are so, so good at what you do. Thank you for what you do. It must be so hard. Bodhi and I will be eternally grateful for your kindness. You truly helped me be able to let go. You were a true angel for us today.

I had to make one of the most difficult decisions of my life for my best friend, Shylaah. At 17 years old, she was suffering from dementia and was both deaf and nearly blind. I knew it was time to let her cross the Rainbow Bridge, but I wanted her final moments to be filled with peace, dignity, and love. Finding Peaceful Veterinary Care was truly a blessing. From my very first email, Stacy showed nothing but kindness and compassion, responding almost immediately with words that brought me comfort during an incredibly painful time. It meant more than I can express. When Dr. Chapman arrived at our home, she was gentle, patient, and incredibly understanding. She took time to speak softly to Shylaah while carefully explaining each step to me. Shylaah was so relaxed and comfortable that she began to snore, which reassured me that she felt safe and at ease. I was given all the time I needed to say goodbye, without ever feeling rushed. Afterward, Dr. Chapman wrapped Shylaah tenderly in a blanket, leaving her head free, and carried her with such care and respect. I was able to give her a few final kisses before she was gently placed in the car. Dr. Chapman was truly an angel during one of the darkest moments of my life. Though I was heartbroken, I knew Shylaah was being treated with compassion and dignity every step of the way. From the in-home euthanasia to receiving her ashes, every interaction with Dr. Chapman and Stacy was filled with warmth, kindness, and love. I will forever be grateful and would wholeheartedly recommend Peaceful Veterinary Care to anyone facing this difficult goodbye

Was able to call and get an appointment for the next morning. The staff ranging from who took my appointment and walked me through the options to the vet who assisted in bringing our old boy to the afterlife were all amazing. My family specifically said the vet made it very peaceful and they felt like they had closure. The transport your pet to their partner company that handles the afterlife care of your animal so you don’t have to worry about making arrangements in such a stressful time. To top it off they don’t make you pay right then or prior . They send the bill after which makes it feel less like a transaction and more personal. If you have to unfortunately find a home vet to handle a euthanasia then I would 100% recommend peacefulvet. We are forever thankful

During one of the hardest moments of our lives, Peaceful Vet Care gave us far more than care — they gave us compassion, presence, and deep respect for our beloved cat, Diego, and our family. Saying goodbye is never easy, but being able to do so at home, in a calm and familiar space, made an indescribable difference. They took the time to explain everything and treated Diego with gentleness, dignity, and love until the very end. It felt less like a clinical service and more like being supported by people who truly understand the profound bond between animals and their families. Sharing this review feels like a small tribute to Diego’s life, and I hope it offers comfort to others who may be facing a similar loss. We are deeply grateful for Peaceful Vet Care and for the peace, grace, and kindness they gave us during such a painful goodbye.

Nobody wants to ever put their own dog down. But coming here and meeting dr chapman was the best decision we made. She was so gentle and caring with our dog Leo. Not only that, she was extremely understanding of the pain our family was having and going through at the moment. She handled everything very professionally and made everyone feel at peace through this tough moment. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I called them on a Sunday morning to make an afternoon euthanasia appointment. The office called and walked us through everything and cremation information. Dr Chapman helped our sweet girl over the rainbow bridge later that afternoon. Our whole family was bawling our eyes out, and Dr. Chapman took her time, walked us through each step, answered my kids questions, gave us space to tell stories and share our favorite memories. She was so kind and amazing, there is no other person I’d want there to guide us through such a tough day for our family. After she passed, she had a blanket and a pillow for the gurney (so she was all tucked in). She waited patiently for us to give even more goodbyes from the driveway. Thank you so much for all your compassion and empathy that day! We miss Kona so incredibly much, but so glad she was there to guide us all that day. Not to mention she even wrote us a condolence card! ❤️ HIGHLY recommend. They took such great care of us. We got a cremation box with custom inscription, a paw print, lock of fur, and a nose print.

I can't say enough about how amazing and wonder Dr. Chapman was. My wife and I unfortunately had to say "goodbye" to our wonderful boy after he had lost his battle to cancer. I researched home euthanasia to provide him the most comfortable passing we could and chose Peaceful Veterinary Care. Stacy was amazing in walking me through the process and had even seen my dog previously at one of his chemo treatments. When the time came, they unfortunately didn't have an availability for the date, but Stacy kept in contact and let me know as soon as a cancellation popped up. During the visit, Dr. Chapman came to our house and walked us through the process. She was kind, gentle, and really made sure to let us (my wife, myself, and our dog) know she was going to approach this with the utmost love and respect. She made our boy feel comforted and helped alleviate any fears he may have had. It was a torrentially emotional experience, but we are so grateful to have gone through it in the manner we did.

Anthony,
Thank you so much for sharing your experience and for trusting us with Juggernaut's final moments. We know how incredibly difficult it is to say goodbye, especially after fighting something as unfair as cancer, and our hearts are truly with you and your wife. It means so much to hear that you felt supported, informed, and never rushed through such an emotional time. He was clearly deeply loved, and it was an honor to help him pass peacefully at home, surrounded by the people who meant the most to him. While the day was heartbreaking, we’re thankful we could help make it gentle, calm, and full of love.

Thank you again for your trust and kind words. We’re holding you close in our thoughts and wishing you comfort as you remember your sweet boy.

Dr. Chapman was amazing. My dog was so ready to go and really wasn’t interested in too much love and pets on her last day, she had been declining and was in too much pain. When Dr. Chapman sat down I was shocked that my dog kept inching closer and closer to her. She liked Dr. Chapman immediately, even got up and wagged her tail (which we hadn’t seen her do in days) when she came in our door. It was almost like she knew she was there to help and give her relief. She passed so peacefully and cozy, looked like she was just taking the best nap she ever had - no pain, no anxiety, just pure calm knowing she was safe and loved. I’m so grateful to Dr. Chapman for what she does and how she lets our furry family members pass with such dignity and grace. Thank you for making Emmy’s last moments so gentle and wonderful for her 🩷

Emmy was clearly so loved, and it was an honor to care for her with dignity and grace in her last moments. Thank you for your kind words and for allowing us to be part of such an important goodbye. We are deeply grateful to you and will always remember sweet Emmy.

Dr. Chapman is one of the most amazing human beings we have ever come across. She helped our wonderful cat cross the rainbow bridge in September 2024. Losing our girl after 17 years was an incredibly hard time for our family made better by her. Recently, she also helped our heart dog of 13.5 years cross the rainbow bridge. Nothing will ever prepare you for losing your heart and soul dog, and having Dr. Chapman’s calming and supportive presence there made it more bearable. We cannot thank her enough for the kindness and compassion she has shown our family through these incredibly difficult times. We wouldn’t want anyone else to help our fur babies transition to heaven, pain and cancer free. With dignity and peacefully. We are forever grateful for Dr. Chapman and Peaceful Veterinary Care. ❤️

This review is for our 2nd time using Peaceful Vet Care. Dr. Chapman has now put down two of our dogs in our home. And if there is a need for a 3rd, Peaceful Vet Care will be our first call. Their services are absolutely worth every penny for your family and pet when having to go through euthanasia.

Dr Chapman is simply amazing. She's beyond compassionate, and truly cares not only for your pet but for your family that is losing a loved one. We had to unexpectedly put our dog Harlee down, and she came in full of love and care towards our dog, and to us. She made the process so easy and was gentle with Harley the entire time. We truly loved that she was not only open on a Sunday, but came to our home so our dog didn't have to make the stressful ride in the car some place. We highly recommend her.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Chapman. We recently had to say goodbye to our 13-year-old Corgi, Mia. Dr. Chapman’s kind and compassionate care, along with her gentle presence, gave us all — including Mia — so much comfort, and we will be forever grateful. I am so glad we made the choice to do this at home, and that we chose Dr. Chapman and Peaceful Veterinary Care to help Mia in her transition from this world to the next. I wrote the below in honor of Mia. I hope it brings comfort to anyone who is facing the tough decision of saying goodbye to a beloved fur baby. ❤️ *************************** A spoonful of peanut butter helped the medicine go down — and helped this good girl through her final moments. 🐶🥜 As many who met her would agree, Mia was your typical Corgi. Her favorite activities included herding our cats, policing other canines at the dog beach, zooming around the house, and “barking at bee farts,” as my dad so affectionately referred to her love of asserting her presence to all and sundry. My dad called her his “45-pound lapdog,” because as soon as he sat down, she’d make a beeline for his lap, sporting an adoring grin with her tongue lolling to the side, and any crush injuries would be quickly forgiven. My all-time favorite memory was when we hosted a birthday party for my friend’s daughter. My friend had baked an elaborate cake from scratch. Ocean-themed, with beautiful ombré blue frosting, it was adorned with handmade seashells and shiny candy pearls. I bet you can tell where this story is heading, and you’d be right on the money. We had gone outside to watch as my friend’s daughter took her new bike on its maiden voyage, returning inside to find Mia atop the dining room table – an impressive feat for a stubby-legged, 30-pound sausage – greedily devouring my friend’s gorgeous cake with gleeful abandon. Mia always had a thing for food. Wherever there was food, there was Mia. But peanut butter was always one of her favorites, so it was only fitting that Mia would pass with the taste of peanut butter on her tongue. About six months ago, her health began to decline at a shocking pace. She began to lose function in one back leg, and in the blink of an eye it was gone. The vet said it would only get worse. Before we knew it, the other leg was gone, and soon after, her appetite. Some people question whether animals feel emotions. I’m here to tell you they do. I saw her grow tired of dragging herself around by her front legs. I saw the light go out in her eyes. I saw the joyful, vibrant soul inside her crying in devastation from being trapped in a broken body. And I saw how peanut butter would always perk her up, even on her darkest days. So it was only fitting that when we said goodbye yesterday, she was surrounded by the people she’d loved the most, licking a spoonful of peanut butter as she breathed her last. There’s a song I love – “What Sarah Said,” by Death Cab for Cutie. There’s a lyric that goes, “Love is watching someone die.” What better way is there to show your love for someone, than by being beside them in their final moments as they leave this world with joy in their heart and the taste of happiness on their tongue? If, like the movie says, all dogs go to heaven, I like to think it’s stocked with an endless supply of peanut butter. 🌈
