TL;DR: Friendly owner, but disorganized service. Poor communication, scheduling issues, unclear location, lack of proper diagnostics/documentation, and ultimately not worth the cost. Better to go to a more established repair center.
This review is not a criticism of the individual, but of the service provided. The owner seems like a great person, but unfortunately the overall service did not meet expectations.
Booking & Website Issues
The reservation website is very minimal and lacks important details. It lists a flat 2-hour service for $150, which could be reasonable if the service were properly tracked or documented. The reservation listed an incorrect address (Cary), while the actual location is in Wake Forest, which caused confusion.
Location & First Impressions
Finding the office was difficult. The business appears to be located inside a large warehouse with subdivided office spaces, but there was no clear signage or office number. I had to carry my PC around and ask someone randomly if I was in the right place. There didn’t seem to be any reception or clear check-in process, nor any indication that my scheduled 9:30 AM appointment was expected.
Drop-Off Experience
Once I found the office, I explained the issues with my PC and the troubleshooting steps I had already taken. I also provided my information again (including PIN and contact details), despite already submitting it online. I was told the PC would be tested later that day (Monday), with an update expected Tuesday.
Lack of Communication & Delays
Tuesday: I had to reach out myself for an update and was told no work had been started yet.
Wednesday: Again, I was the one initiating contact. There was still no clear diagnosis—only speculation about possible issues. I was told I’d receive a concrete answer by the end of the day, but no follow-up was provided.
Thursday: I scheduled a pickup during my lunch break (11:30 AM–12 PM), which was confirmed. However, I received a last-minute text asking to reschedule to later in the day.
When I returned at the rescheduled time (3:30 PM), I was then told via phone that the technician would be late due to traffic. I had to leave and come back again later, which was very inconvenient given my work schedule.
Service Outcome & Concerns
When I finally picked up my PC, I was charged around $200. I was told that the RAM and GPU were tested, but the CPU could not be tested due to lack of available components. The conclusion given was that the motherboard was the issue.
However, there was no documentation, diagnostic report, or concrete evidence provided—just a verbal explanation. While I’m not saying the tests weren’t done, there was nothing to verify what was actually tested or how the conclusion was reached.
Recommendation
I would recommend saving your time and money and going to a larger service provider like Micro Center. While it may require a longer trip, they have the resources to test all components using verified in-house parts, provide detailed diagnostic results, and clearly identify the exact issue (down to specific motherboard faults, if applicable). There would also be components available to replace on-site. Communication and scheduling are also likely to be more structured.
Again, this is not personal, the owner seems like a good person but the service experience was lacking, and I would not recommend bringing a gaming PC or similar issue here.

We are located inside a professional office facility and operate by appointment only, as listed on our Google profile. At the entrance, we have a check-in system where customers enter their name and email, which sends us an immediate notification so we can assist them.
That said, I understand this may not have been as clear as it should have been during your visit, and we are improving signage and the overall check-in experience.
Regarding scheduling, your appointment was booked shortly before arrival, and while we did our best to accommodate, we were assisting other customers at the time. We should have communicated more proactively — that’s on us.
I’d also like to clarify the pricing:
The service you received was a flat-rate $199 desktop diagnostic, which was reviewed and signed for at drop-off before any work was performed. I understand the website may currently reflect different pricing, and we are actively updating it to avoid any confusion moving forward.
On the technical side, your system went through a full hardware diagnostic process. We tested multiple components to isolate the issue, and based on the results, the motherboard was identified as the primary point of failure.
In situations where a system shows intermittent behavior (such as powering on briefly once), this is typically an indication of hardware instability rather than a fully functional component.
As part of the service, we:
• Tested multiple components to rule out other failures
• Recommended motherboard replacement based on results
• Offered to assist with installation and further testing
• Invited you to return once the part was available — at no additional cost, included in the diagnostic service
You chose to proceed with the replacement on your own, which we fully respected, and our offer to assist remained open.

They are not only extremely professional, communicative, and competent people but they even went out of their way for me beyond their normal work hours. I was in a situation where I thought I had completely bricked my PC after switching a motherboard for better wifi capabilities. I couldn't not get my new tower to connect to my monitors nor could I get my system to work on my old motherboard. I tried for a week straight trying to get my computer to work again. They were able to get my PC to work again in just over 24 hours! This business is absolutely worth every dollar and have earned my business if I ever run into another PC situation where I've hit a dead end, I'm coming straight back here!

Google says they also do cell phone repairs.But when I called , they said they do not do repairs on cellphones or tablets.

These are real professionals with an in depth knowledge of pc configuration and they know how to handle any hiccups along the way. I highly recommend them to reliably solve any issues with your PC and when you need a new one, this is who you need.
