I cannot say enough wonderful things about Shawn and the incredible work he has done with my dog, Willow. Willow is fearful of people and reactive toward other dogs, so finding the right trainer was extremely important to me. Charli is amazing we thought our baby was out of control, he was too aggressive with our other pets. She said he just needed an Alfa to take the lead. Charli should us how to act and how to talk dog.
Skeeter has been home a week now and still amazes me with what he has learned. Our other pets seem to be enjoying the new Skeeter.

We are very happy with Charli's training for our Boerboel. She is incredibly talented, and clearly is passionate about all dogs. Her protocol includes in-depth training with dogs and with their owners. It honestly was the best investment for our boy. We knowingly (after careful research and experience with the breed) brought a beautiful Mastiff breed into our family. After 2 and a half years of thinking he was adorable and lovable (which he is!) .. he had trashed our house with chewing and was misbehaving on leash. Our patience wearing thin with the destruction and safety an issue because of his size, we needed HELP!
We love our pets like members of the family, and after one chat with Chali we knew she felt the same. However(!!) Charli made it clear we were letting our boy rule without proper leadership and he was taking advantage of it. Without proper training and leadership our house was going to continue to be chewed on. Further communication and pics of said destruction confirmed that intervention was needed ASAP. 😬🤣
We brought Sully to visit Charli prior to any contractual obligations to see for ourselves how everything was done. A very comprehensive conversation followed that let us know exactly what to expect for our dog AND us.
This is very much a collaborative effort between you and the trainer, there is a a protocol that must be followed for success. This sounds intimidating, it’s not! IT WORKS.
You will receive video updates several times a day so you can familiarize yourself with new training methods, training successes, as well as failures to learn from. Watching these videos is extremely helpful and questions about anything are not only welcome but encouraged.
After two weeks with Charli our hardheaded mastiff boy is walking on leash, no longer pulling and has not chewed anything but his toys once.
We will be lifetime clients for sure, as Charli does not fade into existence after training. Her commitment to dogs and clients is extended after training and the door remains open for additional questions or any behavior issues that may arise in the future.
If you are looking for a true professional with a great heart who truly understands animal behavior, you’ve found it. A wonderful person and experience.
Lee Ann Vandiver at Paw & Order was fantastic with our 2 chihuahuas! I was so excited we found a dog trainer to come out to our house and help us with our fur babies. We cannot recommend Paw & Order's Stay and Train program enough! We sent our Golden Retriever, Manny, when he was 10 months old, and it was one of the best decisions we've ever made for him.
Elissa was fantastic at walking us through the program, setting expectations, and answering all of our questions. Jamie's expertise with Golden Retrievers was invaluable, and we loved that she also helped keep Manny looking his best with grooming during his stay. When it came time to bring Manny home, Grace did an amazing job teaching us all of his new commands and, just as importantly, training us on how to continue reinforcing everything he learned.
Every trainer we interacted with was incredibly kind and caring. They made Manny feel comfortable throughout his stay and kept us updated with plenty of photos, videos, and detailed notes on his progress, which gave us so much peace of mind.
We had Manny e-collar and obedience trained, and the results have been incredible. His recall has improved tremendously, he no longer jumps on people, and he's become a much less anxious dog now that he understands expectations and has a clear structure to follow.
The entire team truly cares about the dogs they work with, and it shows. We are so grateful for everything they did for Manny and would recommend Paw & Order to anyone looking for a life-changing training experience for their dog.

I had the in-home training. The trainer, Olivia, came to my home several times, with enough time in-between visits for us to practice. It was wonderful!
