I would recommend Christie to anyone who asked! Absolutely great training experience! She was patient teaching us and our dog Louie. He was starting to show some behaviors we wanted to get under control before they became a problem. Christie was honest with us regarding his anxiety and what we should expect with training. She was also very clear that we also had to put in the work and was great at holding us accountable! She was also so kind when Louie had an injury requiring rest, limiting training. We ended up delayed 6-7 weeks, but she reassured us that Louie would regain any progress he lost with some work. I could go on and on. She was responsive from our initial reach out through the end of training. Great trainer and easy to work with!

Christie was amazing with our pup, Birdie! Birdie is strong-willed but very smart, and Christie was very attentive to Birdie’s specific needs. She is very patient and kind, not just with Birdie but with us as well! We highly recommend Paw & Order - Washington ❤️

Paw & Order has changed our household for the better. We have a larger puppy & kids. Our dog was jumping, chewing, and not listening to the kids. Four weeks at Paw & Order and she came home still the sweet personality she had, but was trained in the best way! She listens also to the kids, she no longer jumps, no chewing on things not designated as her toys, she doesn’t run out of the door or her crate when the doors are opened, among so many other things. This training was worth every penny. Along with the fact that P&O was so great about sending us multiple videos and pictures daily, so we could keep up on her training from afar, and we could see she was well attended to and she loved being there. The trainers really care about the dogs and took great care of ours. I have recommended P&O to so many people since our pup graduated. So happy we found them!

I had a wonderful dog training experience with Christie! My dog went from being an anxious, obnoxious barking dog when someone came to my door, or into my home to now being calm and well behaved (yet still excited). He no longer jumps on people and stays where I tell him to stay for as long as I need him to. He is still not a good traveler but he’s made progress! Highly recommend Paw & Order. Appreciate the variety of training experiences we had, at home, out walking throughout a neighborhood (heavily populated with dogs) to short jaunts in the car including behavior training in an upscale coffee shop.

We are so happy we decided to have Christy help Schutzen. Before his stay with her, Schutzen was in a constant state of anxiety... he was so stressed that he didn't even want to eat or sleep, and he was very scared of other dogs. It was heartbreaking to see him like that. Thanks to Christy's dedication and expertise, Schutzen is now doing great, and has returned to his happy, playful self. Christy worked hard to help him, and we truly appreciate all of her efforts. She also provided us with valuable guidance to continue Schutzen’s training at home, including a guide, techniques to help him relax, checking in with us, and answering our questions! Jay and I are fully committed to continuing Schutzen’s training because he deserves to be happy. Thank you Christy!

We are working with Paw and Order with our large dog and couldn’t be happier with the results! The mix of positive reinforcement and marking negative behaviors is resulting in a dog I can trust. Communication is excellent and I feel that my trainer cares about my family and my dog. In addition, we are provided handouts as a resource after training sessions to review and reiterate the nuances of the situation. The mix of in home and off site visits helps us address training issues we experience in our day to day lives and expose our dog to many different situations and apply our training in the real world. Our dog is happy and gets to do things like going on trips, eating in restaurants, and attending events because his behavior is on point and he knows the protocol we have learned! We would not have the dog we have without their help!

Christie is amazing. Our puppy went from a wild zoomie boy to a well mannered boy! She wants your dog to succeed. When our puppy came home, he was not quite ready. She had no problem taking him back and training him until he was better prepared to be home. I highly recommend her!

My wife and I adopted a rescue dog in December of 2023. He is a Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix and came with a few aggression issues about visitors to the house. We didn’t have any useful experience with this issue and at 108 pounds, he was too big to ignore it. We found Christie online and scheduled an initial evaluation. She came to the house and spent time with the newly named Cody and we decided that he was a good candidate for home training. Christie came to the house and worked with our schedule and showed us how to work with Cody to modify the behavior. He learned all of the basic commands and began to be far less aggressive. The big test was when she took us to Home Depot and he behaved like a perfect gentleman. Our final session was at Christie’s home and we found that he has no dog aggression. We can now walk him around the neighborhood without worrying and enjoy the walk with no pulling. I would recommend Christie without hesitation to anyone that needs help training a dog.

We did the stay and train with Christie and it exceeded our expectations. Her and her husband sent me multiple videos and pictures daily. Our boy had a lot of anxiety and has come so far. Christie also came to our house to help work on some small issues we had once he came back home.

We did the hybrid program with Christie for our bernedoodle puppy Penny and couldn’t be more pleased! Penny was timid in new places and needed a lot of work on obedience. After two weeks with Christie she was a whole new dog, she’s very well behaved and much more confident. We will be using Christie for training with all of our future dogs!

Paw and order is a great training program if you are serious about training your dog. It was extremely professional while also being fun. I did the at home option and it was amazing. The lessons are easy to follow and they do not overwhelm you. You also get a post lesson guide that you can always refer to, which is very helpful. The program is also flexible, you can ask for certain things you would like your dog to learn. The dogs also have a great time with it because you can reward them with treats or praise when they start learning their new skills. I saw instant results with my dogs, and they continue to make improvements every week. I would highly recommend this program.

Christie worked with my dog on his anxiety and obedience skills, and he is doing so well with me at home so far! Before, I wasn’t able to walk him in public places, and now he has been able to go on walks near people, animals, bikes, cars, and so much more that he wasn't able to before! I also feel safe around him now and can tell he’s able to trust me more too again. Most of all, he is the same spirited pup I dropped off, just better trained! Christie and her team truly cared for my little guy and that meant the world.

This was the most amazing experience. Paw and Order was able to accomplish what others couldn’t with my dog. I have an aggressive dog due to fear and low confidence. Not only were the trainers able to help correct this issue, my dog is truly so much better at home as well. I got more than I bargained for. I advise anyone looking for dog training from basic training to advanced issues to contact Paw and Order!!

After having several good, bad, and mediocre experiences with a well known pet store's training, being led and instructed by Christie and Madi with Paw and Order Washington was a breath of fresh air. They are both incredibly compassionate, patient, and understanding (seriously... I didn't see an ounce of frustration or irritability toward human or animal, which is HUGE in my opinion) but also direct and clear in their approach. Their methods seem to be effective partly because they adjust based on the needs and personality of the dog. I love that each dog received individual attention in every class and all saw such great improvement! I am very pleased and already have plans to work with them again in the very near future.

I highly recommend the obedience group training, after completing it with my Huskypoo Khaleesi! Madison and Christie, the trainers, have an impressive level of expertise and were always ready to address any specific concerns we had. The knowledge gained throughout the program was invaluable, and equipped me with the necessary tools to effectively address and correct unwanted behavior. This experience was truly transformative and I am grateful to have invested in it.
