I gave 5 stars, only because 6 stars wasn't a choice.
Paulson's is absolutely fantastic. I did a lot of online price shopping, and Paulson's were at least equal to and often better than anywhere else.
And far more importantly, they are there not just to move hardware, but to make an exquisite A/V experience for you. Bill Davidson was my rep, and he was amazing. I started asking about brands and pricing, and he took me back to step 1 -- what size room, what's the layout, are you audio only, or will you have a TV? If so, what percentage of music vs TV, what type of movies, etc. When I said "no video, all music." Bill then asked type of music, etc... and when all was said & done he hooked me up with an insanely good integrated amp, bookshelf speakers (to fit my room), a compact sub that is incredible, and a high-end CD player to match the quality and sound signature of the integrated amp. We even mated the CD player to the integrated amp with XLR cables to maximize the audio quality and clarity of some of my best vintage CDs.
I met a few other floor folks and, while my predominant experience was with Bill, they all seem to be super-knowledgeable, friendly, involved, empathetic, passionate about their craft, and want to do what's right for you.
Nothing but great things to say. I walked into the store with my mind semi-made up on what I wanted to do. I walked out with a completely different architecture, and it is an order of magnitude better than what I drew up myself.
If you really want to tailor an A/V system to your top priorites and preferences, you really need to speak to them.

Paulson's is THE place for high end AV installation and home automation. They did my entire home theater installation. Trying to do it yourself these days is a greater undertaking than you can imagine. My theaters is literally the most awesome place in my house. I give Paulson's my highest rating and will continue to use them. They are by far not the least expensive around but you certainly get what you pay for. Thanks Peter and your whole team for creating an awesome home theater than exceeded my expectations by far.

I really wanted to like these guys, but I was very disappointed, in a number of ways. Promises were made when the salesman and the installation scheduler came out to evaluate. On installation day, the TV didn't fit the way they said it would. The soundbar didn't fit either. One of the installers was in an extreme hurry and downright rude. The other installer was actually focused on how to make it work, but it requires carpentry. The high-end TV has horrible sound, so I'm left with more physical work to do, more cost and it's really up to me to find a soundbar that will work in this situation.

I recently worked with Chuck and Matt to resolve a controller issue. They did a great job diagnosing the problem and getting me back online with all my services. I continue to be very pleased with Paulson's services.
The online service that Paulson's offers is simply amazing. I had problems with my internet connection. My computer support company, InsideOut Networking, tried to help me over the phone but I was told I'd have to bring my computer in since their troubleshooting didn't work. I called Paulson's, since I have their Control4 equipment. Their tech, Doug, told me that my internet wasn't Control4, but he had me try a couple of things. He had me turn my Xfinity modem on and off and that fixed my problem! Doug saved me dragging my tower to the computer repair, which they wouldn't have been able to repair anyways since it was an Xfinity modem problem, and saved me $69! They are amazing!

The Paulson's team was outstanding at fixing my "barely used/floor demo/like new" McIntosh C2800 controller purchased from a big chain that starts with a B and ends with a Y. Actually, my lemon has been butchered inside and died in a week. Doug Chase at Paulson's coordinated the repair with Ryan at McIntosh Labs, got a new board, installed with latest firmware and it's all good. Thanks so much to Paulson's sales team and their highly competent technician (and to McIntosh as well!) All the best.

Paulson's has been our go-to for over 30 years for purchasing and installing high quality television, audio and video systems. They really know what they are doing and will help you figure out the best set up with equipment, speakers, and smart home networking. Recently, we needed to upgrade our home system, which included selecting a new large screen smart tv that needed to fit into a space created for our previous large screen plasma ( not smart) television. Paulson’s Audio has been fantastic to work with from start to finish. They originally helped us plan and install our home theater, whole-home audio system, and outdoor speakers, and the experience was so positive that we consulted them again for our new home.
