I have been a Paulson’s Audio customer since around 2012, and over the years they have earned a level of trust that keeps me coming back. From Parasound amplification, B&W speakers, AudioQuest cables and interconnects, to JL Audio Fathom F112 subwoofers and Sonos integration, Bill Davidson has always approached my system as a consultant, not a salesperson—thoughtful, honest, and willing to challenge my assumptions when it mattered. This review of their most recent project is long overdue, but having lived with the results only reinforces my confidence in their work. Even after time out of state and later settling in the Ann Arbor area, with several excellent local audio shops nearby, I ultimately returned to Paulson’s because of that long-standing relationship and confidence in their recommendations. They came to my home to install and calibrate a full Atmos and surround setup, and the results have been outstanding for both two-channel listening and home theater. Shaun and Matthew were meticulous installers who kept the work environment clean and safe throughout, and the in-ceiling speakers are so well integrated that guests rarely even notice them; they practically vanish. Kelsey’s cable management deserves special mention—the back of the rack is clean, organized, and almost artistic, with every run labeled and placed exactly where it should be.
