Abbiamo trascorso una vacanza semplicemente meravigliosa in questo resort in Egitto! La struttura è curata nei minimi dettagli, con ambienti puliti, accoglienti e immersi in un’atmosfera rilassante. Le piscine e la spiaggia sono spettacolari, perfette per chi cerca relax ma anche divertimento. Un ringraziamento speciale va al receptionist Hisham, sempre disponibile, gentile e pronto ad aiutare in ogni momento. La sua cortesia e professionalità hanno davvero fatto la differenza, facendoci sentire accolti e coccolati fin dal primo istante. Il personale in generale è estremamente attento e sorridente, e anche la ristorazione ci ha conquistati con piatti vari e di ottima qualità. Consiglio vivamente questo resort a chiunque voglia vivere un’esperienza indimenticabile in Egitto. Sicuramente torneremo!

Molto consigliato, se la barriera corallina non è un requisito fondamentale
Palm Royale è un resort consigliato per una vacanza a febbraio. Situato in una baia protetta anche con il vento puoi goderti le giornate in spiaggia con bagno in mare cristallino. Lussuoso, pulitissimo, cibo ottimo, una spiaggia lunghissima con aree silenziose o animate a seconda della preferenza. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Punti deboli: barriera distante raggiungibile solo con barca a pagamento. Camera molto bella, la nostra con vista mozzafiato, bagno purtroppo un po’ datato non all'altezza di un 5 stelle.
Great stay and amazing snorkeling
I had a wonderful stay in this hotel. The service was truly excellent — the staff was always attentive, friendly, and ready to help with anything we needed. The beach is great, and the entrance to the sea is very comfortable, no unpleasant surprises with stones or anything like that. Perfect for just swimming or going snorkeling. I would especially like to mention Abo Rasslan, who organizes water excursions. We went on a snorkeling trip and were absolutely delighted. Everything was well-organized, the prices were very reasonable, and he was very flexible, adapting the experience to our preferences. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great vacation by the sea with excellent service and memorable activities!

Relaxing Holiday
Fabulous holiday as always. My second visit my mother’s 4th. We travelled with TUi as a package deal. Before that we had to use another holiday site as TUI did not have this hotel on their website. TRANSFERS & ROOMS & TIPPING We booked private transfers directly through the hotel. Very good response to emails from guest relations Rania Mohamed. The driver was waiting for us just outside arrivals. Very good service. Transfer took 30mins. If you book your stay direct with the hotel they offer free transfers I believe. We had booked 2 elite beach front rooms. 2008 & 2012 were allocated to us. These rooms are either side of the walkway facing right on the beach near where the security guy sits. 2012 got more sun on the terrace than 2008 mid march. Rooms lovely. Cleaned daily. Lots of complimentary toiletries more than our last visit. We had robes and slippers in the room. Mini bar fridge filled daily. 2 x small Water, 2 small cartons juice, sprite can and a coke can. I asked for Diet Coke and the man who restocks the bar brought me a larger bottle of Coke Zero. So do ask. Obviously tipped him. On the matters of tipping we take $1 bills and tip a couple $1 daily to our waiting staff, bar staff, cleaner etc. it’s not compulsory but I do believe in tipping good service. And it’s much appreciated. In the specialty restaurants I tip a little more as you don’t have to fetch your own food etc. NEW BAR on this visit they were doing a lot of work on the beach front Greek specialty restaurant turning the upper deck into a bar called Yamas I believe that was the name on the advert. On my previous visit in November I did think that area would make a lovely bar setting. So will have to return soon to make use of it. Hope it is open on an evening as think a beach front bar would be a great addition to the hotel. FOOD This time we only visited the Asian beachfront specialty restaurant. Food was amazing. Had the spring rolls for starters and the butter chicken for main. Struggled to eat the dessert melon sticky rice as too full. Service was fantastic. We do find that we eat too much at the specialty restaurants hence why we only visited one this time. We prefer to go the buffet and select portion sizes ourselves as I have no off button if someone puts it down in front of me!! Loved the themed nights in the buffet especially when they had the outside section open with a vast amount of choice. My only personal small negative is that I wish at lunch and dinner they had something cold to go with all their salad section. Maybe slice cold meats, a cheese selection. They have these items on at breakfast but I found at lunch I had to go and choose something from the hot section to go with my salad and most times nothing was suitable for me. I didn’t go hungry just a personal preference. Desserts were to die for amazing so much choice. Breakfast we had complimentary access to the terrace linked to the accommodation we had booked. Service is 5* nothing is too much trouble. Lovely omelettes. Nice and chilled setting. DRINKS Didn’t try many cocktails but the mojitos were lovely. Loved sitting at the beach bar with a vodka, sprite and lime. Just wish they had diet sprite. At this bar and the pool snack bar there is help yourself to mr whippy type ice creams. Nice iced coffee at the pool bar/snack bar. Love the lobby bar nice and chilled especially listening to Elena playing the piano. The seating outside Johnnys bar for the night time entertainment is also a favourite however if like us you are a none smoker choose your seat carefully. I do wish the tables nearest Johnnys bar were made for none smokers and keep the smokers at the far end towards the pool. This whole area is also used for the hookah/shisha pipes so can be a bit overwhelming !!! Johnnys bar is none smoking but with the AC can find it too cold. And sometimes we like to sit outside. BEACH & POOL Always plenty of sun beds available both times I’ve visited November and March. The whole complex is kept immaculate. The gardeners are none stop. SAFETY Overall another amazing holiday. Obviously when we visited March 2026 the world had gone mad and a lot of people were worried about travelling to Egypt. There is no need to worry. Look at a map and see how far away you are from the troubles. Sign up to notifications from UK GOV and always be prepared as you would be travelling anywhere in the world. Bring plenty of your medical supplies and maybe a couple of credit cards just in case. A lot of people at this hotel stay here for the kite surfing so quite a mixture of guests. All ages, nationalities. Never saw any problems with guests. All staff are so friendly and accommodating. GYM Yes I’m that person who goes every morning. As far as hotel Gyms go this is one of the best I’ve been in. Most people I saw in there around 10am was maybe 8. Never used the spa but the quiet pool outside the gym area is so peaceful The paths around the whole resort are ideal for a walk. TRIPS We didn’t do any this time but in November we booked through the man on the beachfront kiosk to Bianca Island. You can see Bianca Island from our beach. It was amazing. Pure white sand, clear crystal waters. Included was your lunch and all you alcoholic drinks, sunbeds etc. Can stay as long as you wish. We just got a message to the boat and he came and picked us back up. If you are after a totally relaxing holiday you won’t regret staying here. We will be back soon.

Erholsamer Urlaub im Palm Royale
Wir waren zum nun 5 .mal im Palm Royale und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Der Empfang an der Reception , das Zimmer , das gesamte Personal .. alle waren wirklich sehr freundlich und stets bemüht es einem so schön wie möglich zu machen. Wir haben morgens im Terrace gefrühstückt und haben so den Tag wundervoll begonnen. Dann zum Strand , wo uns Fathy stets gut betreut hat , Milad mit Casanova (Kamel ) und auch die Animature waren immer sehr nett und immer auf ein freundliches Wort zu haben. ( hier lieben Gruss an Helmy + Elena ) . Die Buffets am Abend waren wieder sehr nett angerichtet und das Essen war sehr lecker. Manchmal fühlte man sich am Buffet nicht ganz so wohl weil einige Leute nicht wissen wie und wo man sich anstellen muss ( da kann das Hotel aber nichts dafür). Mittwoch gab es ein get together der Hotelleitung im Terrace welches eine sehr nette Veranstaltung war um mit anderen Gästen zu sprechen und die verantwortlichen des Hotels zu treffen . Man ist hier sehr bemüht stets was zu verbessern. So wird es demnächst eine Loungearea über halb des griechischen Restaurants geben. Die renovierten Zimmer waren auch sehr schön und wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Auf diesem Weg nochmals unser Dank an das gesamte Team des Palm Royale ..... wir kommen sicher wieder .

Tolles Hotel, sehr gepflegt, freundliches Personal und abwechslungsreiches leckeres Essen
Das Hotel war insgesamt sehr sauber und gepflegt. Schon beim Ankommen haben wir uns direkt wohlgefühlt. Die gesamte Anlage machte einen ordentlichen und einladenden Eindruck. Besonders positiv ist uns das freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal aufgefallen. Alle Mitarbeiter waren stets nett und zuvorkommend. Ein besonderes Lob geht an das Team vom Aqua Center. Mr. Egypt und sein Team haben einen großartigen Job gemacht. Die Schnorcheltour war ein echtes Highlight unseres Urlaubs. Alles war bestens organisiert und hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Auch das Essen im Hotel war sehr lecker. Es gab eine große Auswahl und viel Abwechslung. So war für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Die schöne und gepflegte Anlage hat den Aufenthalt zusätzlich abgerundet. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen und konnten uns gut erholen. Insgesamt war es eine rundum gelungene Reise. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Посетили этот отель в феврале 2026 года, семья двое взрослых и ребёнок 10 лет. В отеле понравилось всё! Начну с питания. Завтраки - стандартный набор, как и везде, отдельное спасибо повару который готовил омлеты и яичницу, очень вкусно! Для детей каждый день на завтрак вафли, панкейки, варенье, нутелла, хлопья и тд. На обед чаще всего выбирали алякарте ресторан, который расположен между пляжем и бассейном. Обслуживание быстрое, еда нормальная. Можно выбрать бургер, врапы, картошка фри или спагетти болонезе. На ужин в главном ресторане каждый день тематический ужин, большое разнообразие блюд с разных стран мира. Для ребёнка топом стал шоколадный фонтан на одном из тематических ужинов. За неделю прибывания можно 3 ужина выбрать в алякарте ресторанах. Посетили итальянский и греческий. Обслуживание в алякарте ресторанах превосходное! В итальянском обязательно попробовать пиццу, очень вкусно! Для Египта рестораны на очень хорошем уровне. Теперь что касается самого отеля. Один из бассейнов с подогревом и так же ещё один для совсем маленьких, глубиной 60 см тоже подозрегревается. Самое лучшее - это пляж. Мелкий приятный песок, никаких камней и кораллов, пологий заход в воду. Чуть подальше, для любителей тишины, есть другой пляж, но там заход в воду уже другой. Номера обычные, чуть уставшие, но это не портило общего впечатления. Очень быстрый и хороший интернет на всей территории отеля. Рыбки в фойе отеля очень классные. Персонал на рецепшн всегда готовы помочь. Спасибо и обязательно вернёмся ещё!

Preis Leistung stimmt hier einfach
Wir hatten schöne 10 Tage im Palm Royale Soma Bay. Schöner Strand, beheizter Pool und ausgezeichneter Service. Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Wer einfach mal abschalten möchte, ist hier perfekt aufgehoben. Es gab verschiedene Themenabende im Hauptrestaurant und man wurde immer mehr als fündig. Wir haben auch 2 a la carte Restaurants besucht (Libanese und Chinese) und waren auch dort sehr zufrieden. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Mustafa von der Außenterasse im Hauptrestaurant, der immer mit einem Lächeln seinen Job perfekt gemacht hat. Zudem ein ganz ganz großes Dankeschön an David von der Strandbar am Tag und Abend in Johnnys Bar…bester Kellner im ganzen Hotel danke dir!! Außerdem zu erwähnen ist Ahmet von Quad Safari (unbedingt private Tour buchen und keine Gruppe). Falls noch jemand eine Idee für einen Ausflug braucht, können wir die Catamaran Tour mit ocean diva empfehlen (Delfine, 2 Schnorchelstopps, Essen und Softdrinks inklusive, Cocktails und Bier für 3€). A wonderful vacation!!!
A wonderful vacation!!! My wife and I vacationed in early October 2025. It was important for two adults to find a hotel without noisy children's water parks, focused on a calm, relaxing, and quiet vacation. We found all of this at the PALM ROYAL RESORT. Of course, there was entertainment for both adults and children—music, shows, games, and sports—but it was all very comfortable and unobtrusive. This didn't interfere with our relaxing vacation at all, and if we wanted, we were always able to find entertainment (billiards at the bar, outdoor music, shows, etc.). Moreover, the grounds—large, green, and well-maintained—provided every opportunity for both entertainment and secluded strolls at any time. Many reviews have been written about the decor of the grounds and the main building, and I agree that everything is decorated with chic (golden, luxurious furniture, paintings in ornate frames, statues), but at the same time beautifully, tastefully, and with care. Of course, one of the highlights is Elena, who plays popular tunes on the piano in the lobby every evening, accompanied by the splashing of goldfish in the pool surrounding the bar. The atmosphere in the evenings is incredible! The hotel has several bars, so you can try them depending on your mood. The à la carte restaurants also offer a variety of cuisines: Greek, Lebanese, Asian, and Italian. We liked the Greek and Italian the best, but everyone has different tastes. Reservations for these restaurants can be made at reception using a QR code or by mobile phone. Reservations are very easy. In my opinion, rooms outside the main building (especially those facing the pool, which are also considered sea views) are better; they're not for those who enjoy peace and quiet, but rather for active, party-goers. The three-story buildings are quieter. The rooms are in good condition, everything works, the beds are comfortable, and the linens are nice. We had no problems with water. Robes and slippers are available upon request. The minibar is restocked daily, as is housekeeping. Juices and sodas are provided, and bottled water is available. Overall, the hotel staff is always responsive to guests' requests, bringing what they need if needed, and assisting in any situation. I appreciate the friendliness and helpfulness of staff at all levels. Hospitality and responsiveness are among the hotel's main strengths! I contacted Alexandra Vorobei, the hotel representative, in advance of my trip. I always received expert responses. When we encountered some inconveniences regarding our accommodations upon check-in, we informed Alexandra Vorobei, who was then invited to speak with Guest Relations Front Manager Mr. Kannan Subramaniam. Mr. Kannan helped us find another room that suited our needs. Throughout our stay, we were in constant contact with Guest Relations Manager Ekaterina, who also offered helpful advice. The beach and sea are definitely another highlight. At this hotel, you don't need to reserve sun loungers in advance – there are plenty of spots in different areas of the beach, which stretches for over 200 meters. Some sun loungers under umbrellas are enclosed by wicker screens, creating a sense of privacy. A wide strip of clean, fine sand offers plenty of space for young people to enjoy sports. Hammocks are available. Kitesurfing is available in the hotel's large area and water area; kitesurfers bring their own equipment. Kitesurfers are located on the left side of the water area, where the wind is stronger and the water is shallow. The rest of the beach is surprisingly calm, with no waves and no low tides. The entry into the water is gentle, over sand, and the water is clear – fish are darting about! The buoyed area of the sea has about a dozen floating mattresses for 3-4 people. Guests from other hotels are not allowed on the beach, which adds another layer of comfort. Food: There was plenty of fish, stewed meat, lots of vegetables, fruit, figs, fresh dates, guava, mango juice, and orange juice from packets. We had grilled shrimp and lamb a few times. There were plenty of sweets, and I found them less cloying than in Turkish hotels. You make your own coffee in a professional coffee machine, using whole bean coffee. You can also make hot chocolate there. Hot and cold milk are available nearby. You might find the grilled meat a bit lacking, but that's a matter of taste. Seafood is seriously scarce. The F&B manager was often spotted supervising the restaurants. The hotel guests come from various countries. The staff speaks English. Yes, the hotel, with its unique, luxurious interior and rooms, even after renovation, that aren't striking in their modernism or gloss, its vast grounds, excellent beach, discreet service and entertainment, and relatively good food, may appeal to some and not others, but the overall atmosphere created by the hotel owner, Mr. Kiriazi, and maintained by his family, beckons you to return. To summarize this "short" review: I really liked the hotel and recommend it. Families with older children and partygoers might find the entertainment a bit lacking, but the hotel is geared towards a different demographic. I'd like to once again commend the hotel staff for their VERY high customer focus. I wish everyone a wonderful vacation!
