Every minutes with Mauro was great Doing this in English even if we have the tour with Mauro in German. Booked a four hours tour for Palermo.Never had this kind of professionalism on a tour. Mauro is fluent in German, Spanish(studied) and English. Fabulous walking tour with Marcella! An easy communication via email and WhatsApp with Marcella led to her meeting us at our hotel for a wonderful morning tour around Palermo. It was like meeting an old friend and we spent a lovely morning chatting away and learning so many interesting things about Palermo’s rich history. Marcella took us to the Parliament building which was stunning and she took the time to explain the history of the art we were seeing, but in an easy way to digest. We then finished the tour with a coffee and a granita with many ideas of what to do for the rest of the day. Would highly recommend Marcella for a private tour. Thank you 🙏

Simply the best This was our second tour we had the pleasure of taking a walking tour with Mauro. Last year we mainly focused on the historical centre which was wonderful. During our recent visit to Palermo we booked Mauro again for another tour. We asked Mauro if we could take a tour of the Port Side of the City. This he obliged and again a tour with Mauro became one of the highlights of our holiday. Mauro as before was extremely well informed and educated us on many aspects of the City’s History along with taking us to places that were not to busy. It’s truly is a privilege to accompany Mauro on a tour, we concluded our visit at the Palazo Butera. After learning from Mauro’s knowledge of History, Culture, Religion and Commerce, Mauro excelled in his knowledge of the arts. Palermo before and after Mauro I had seen Palermo in March alone with my wife in September we decided to revisit it with the whole family. We chose as our guide, suggested by friends, Mauro who like an experienced tailor sewed the visit tailored to our needs. Nice, prepared at times almost hilarious with a mimic of great actor. A perfect introduction to Palermo! If you are looking for a personalised walking tour of historic Palermo, then book Marcella Amato, she was great. We were a group of 5 friends interested in the history and architecture of the city. We didn't want to be part of a large group not being able to hear what the guide was saying. Palermo is a very busy, noisy city, so we were delighted when Marcella took us off the beaten track to interesting locations where we could he her and we could ask questions. Marcellas' knowledge is amazing and brought the culture and history of the city to life. Don't be part of the herd. Have a local with a passion for their birth city show you around, and you won't regret it.

Marcella with Palermo Wonders Marcella was the best!! As soon as we were picked up by her at our hotel we could tell she would be a great guide. She immediately showed her bubbly personality, being so glad that me and my girlfriend were taking a guided tour being so young. She took us all around the city on foot, telling us about its fascinating history and giving us many opportunities to experience its cuisine. She was very patient taking many photos of me and my girlfriend! I would definitely book this tour if you have the chance! (También habla un español increíble y sin acento.
