☺ Palazzo Gallo is a special place. The decor is both fun and extravagant. If it is available, the deluxe room at the top is lovely with a private terrace and view. Alina was very helpful and even showed us the ancient underground olive oil press beneath the palazzo.

☺ The location was good and we could walk everywhere- the room was massive and clean
☹ It was obviously the beginning of the winter season so there was nobody on duty in the hotel - communication was on whatsapp that did not always work which was annoying- the booked parking spot never materialized

☺Stedet var smukt renoveret. Alina vidste os velvilligt stedets meget gamle olivenmølle i kælderen, som ikke er offentligt tilgængelig. Derudover fortalte hun os om selve husets historie, spændende.

☺L'emplacement est central ce qui est pratique pour visiter à pied. Pas trop loin du parking du port (payant) où nous devions laisser la voiture.
☹Pas beaucoup de lumière naturelle dans la chambre. Moustiquaire coulissante pour accéder au mini-balcon était "endommagée" ce qui n'était pas très pratique. De toute manière le balcon est tellement petit et les voisins d'en face tellement proche que ce n'est pas du tout idéal pour en profiter.
Le petit-déjeuner n'était pas du tout bien garni ce qui n'est pas idéal du tout pour commencer une journée.

☺ Very responsive manager not only suggesting the closest parking but also coming herself to pick us up and make a restaurant reservation for selected venue from her suggestions. Very well refurbished palazzo with lots of attention to details making the guests king.

A great Hotel, with wonderful staff, very clean and ideally situated
☺ The room was a wonderfully themed medieval room complete with a suit of armour and vaulted ceiling, it was set slightly away, a hundred yards or so from the main hotel, and smelled very clean, with quality linen and towels. we had our own front door but access to the rooftop terrace in the main hotel area where you can get a sea view.
The breakfast was great, a buffet with fresh fruit, local pastries, jams, toast, eggs cheese/meat and tomatoes and served with lovely hot steaming hot cappuccinos.
The location is right in the heart of the old town, but was in a nice and quiet location away from the noise of the main drag to get a good nights sleep.
Martina, the manager kindly gave us a lift to the station with our bags, which was very much appreciated
☹ The bathroom is on a different level from the ground floor room and for anyone that has mobility issues I would not recommend as there are quite a few steps to negotiate, but for those that do not have any issues it is very quirky.

Aanrader, prachtig gelegen in de oude stad
☺De locatie en de twee dakterrassen waren geweldig. Hele, ruime kamer en dito badkamer. Veel trappen omhoog lopen maar het was de moeite waard. Geweldig uitzicht en fijne ontvangst ondanks het ongeval van de chauffeur. Vanaf de parkeerplaats lopen is prima te doen. Goed basic ontbijt helaas geen 🍳 maar genoeg ander lekkers.
☹Er is weinig mis hoor maar misschien wat koffie/thee op de kamer?
Een parasol op terras niet overbodig en nacht was koud dus extra deken?
Bediening bij ontbijt was niet erg hartelijk vonden wij.
