We live in Smithtown, been to steak houses all over the island and NYC. Paces is our favorite by far. We always love the food, service and ambiance. Best Filet I’ve ever had and the seafood is always top notch. Whether we want a burger, seafood or a high end steak- the food always exceeds our expectations! Thank you Pace’s!
Pace Steak House – You will not find a better steakhouse. This quaint, well-managed restaurant has a wonderful ambiance and prioritizes both on food quality and service. The steaks are perfectly aged, and the seafood would put most local seafood restaurants to shame. The food is the best I’ve ever had, and the service is top-notch. It’s truly a dining experience. Phenomenal! Steaks were cooked to perfection. 8oz rare Bone-in Filet Mignon special which was tender, melts in your mouth. I enjoyed a black & blue 32oz Rib Eye that was flavorful and tender. Paces has been around for as long as I’ve been alive and continues to be a staple for celebrations in my family. In my 35 years, I’ve never had a negative experience. If they’ve ever made a mistake, they have always corrected it with going above and beyond the normal expectations. Thank You, Paces! Your staff working on 10/22/25 were outstanding! Until next time!
One of the few steakhouses that gets medium rare RIGHT! The food was absolutely delicious as usual, and the service the night we went was unmatched! It was our first anniversary the night we visited (09/29) and our night was lovely :) Shoutout to the servers we had that night- you were AWESOME!
