We have used OzShut twice now at two different properties and couldn't be happier with the outcome. One shutter had a motor that wasn't running smoothly after installation which was promptly replaced and there have been no other issues.

Mal came to our house for some advice and a quote for roller shutters (our first enquiry). He spent over an hour in the early evening showing samples and discussing options. He must've been dog-tired as he gave us a summary of the running around he had done that day! But absolutely on the ball with honest and straight forward advice.
Our only reference point was a quote for internal blackout blinds, the Oz-shut option was only a little more expensive but with the added benefit of protecting from heat and additional security. Deposit paid and surprisingly, a call 3 business days later, "Your shutters will be ready to install on Thursday!"
Installed by Carlos, very neat work and all cleaned up after. Just awaiting electrical connection on 3 out of 4 windows.

Really happy with our experience with Oz Shut Roller Shutters. Big thanks to Mal and the team! The communication was excellent from start to finish. The installation was quick and seamless, and the turnaround time was impressively fast (A little over a week from our first consultation!) We’ve already noticed a massive difference in blocking out light and regulating the room temperature, plus the bonus in added security! We had a minor hiccup during installation where our product was scratched but the team immediately replaced our unit. Overall a high-quality, valuable product that we’d definitely recommend!

Very disappointing experience with OzShut from start to finish.
I booked a visit to get a quote for 3 shutters for my kids’ rooms, nothing complicated, and I made it clear upfront that I wasn’t interested in a full-house sales pitch or being upsold. I simply wanted a straightforward quote for what I needed.
The salesman didn’t seem happy about that. He said he needed to go to his car to grab something… and then just drove off without a word. No explanation, no goodbye, completely unprofessional and incredibly rude.
I then contacted the company to report what happened. They followed it up with the salesman and came back to me saying he claimed he had returned and knocked on the door. That is completely untrue.
I was standing at the flyscreen door the entire time waiting for him to come back, and I also have security camera footage clearly showing that he never returned to the door, he simply got in his car and left.
So not only was the behaviour unacceptable, but I’ve now been told a version of events that is completely fabricated. That’s extremely disappointing.
Between the poor attitude and the dishonesty, I won’t be using OzShut and would not recommend them to others.

I recently had roller shutters installed by ozShut and I’m extremely happy with the result. As a shift worker, having a completely dark room during the day is essential for my sleep, and these shutters do an excellent job at blocking out light. They also significantly reduce outside noise, which has made a noticeable difference in the quality of my rest.
The customer service from ozShut was outstanding. The team was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. They took the time to explain everything clearly and provided helpful tips on how to maintain and service the shutters to keep them in great condition.
Overall, I highly recommend ozShut to anyone, especially shift workers or anyone needing better light control and noise reduction. Great product and great service.

Unethical company. They poach their clients & use “giveaways” to do so. They reach out and say “regarding the giveaway you entered…” which is bait for you to call back/answer and then say “you didn’t win, but you’re a runner up and have won a free consult” 😂 consults are free regardless. They were so pushy and tried to lock in a meet up date after kindly saying I’m not interested at the moment but will reach out if I change my mind. They finally ended up saying ok no worries - received another call a week later at 7:30pm… saying “we have been trying to call you, we need to confirm that the meetup/consult is happening tomorrow” sorry what, don’t recall booking a meet up😂😂 very interesting business model… preying on the vulnerable and roping them in with “free” consults and apparent discounts

We had our roller shutters installed 4 weeks ago, and upon accepting the quote and paying the deposit we were told (and in writing) there was a 5 day wait after installation for the electrician. We called after 2 weeks of hearing nothing and was told it was actually 8 days and we would be contacted in the next week. We are now 4 weeks post install with no electrical completely and a fully paid product that we cannot use. We have called multiple times though cannot reach anyone and are ‘awaiting call backs’. Completely disappointing experience.
