It all seems to be an act to me. I feel this why, because of the idolization many who attend this resort may have of this "Guru". Already they have set an expectation to themselves, that this Guru will give the knowledge of enlightenment, therefore all my problems of figuring out enlightenment, figuring out my emotions, are taken care of by this man. The truth, of your existence simply lies within you. I live in a chaotic environment, but I don't say to myself, "I need to run away from this environment, because the choas in which i live constantly disrupts my meditation". Infact quite the opposite, they only enhance & teach me weaknesses within myself, to not get bothered next time. Meditation, of course everyone forgets, is simple. Even in the Chaotic, unpredictable environment, you can find peace that truly can not be disturbed. But on a "peaceful Island", where they take your money, as an excuse to build a better resort. I do not see the peace in that, again it is an act to take your money at the end of the day. Unfortunately not an act of enlightenment, because once you leave this place with no distractions to teach yourself, and go back to the place you wanted to escape from, you have only created a fantasy to yourself of what enlightenment needs to be, or feel. We just need more undisturbed, meditative individuals, to mingle in this chaotic world, hopefully one day it will be a chaotic world of immense mediation. This place should be free.
