Arrived on a weekday. We were immediately met and welcomed. By the very attentive and enthusiastic Favod who ran through the various options. Service was slick. Food was tasty and fresh. Oysters were HUGE. DEFINITELY COMING BACK.

Womderful place, with delicious, fresh and huge oysters. We ordered twice, we loved them so much. The panko sushi was also really good, just as the idea of being able to try oyster 6 different ways. We sticked to the traditional South African way though. The atmosphere is easy-going, friendly and nice. It is a bit easy to miss from the main road, but we wouldn't miss it for the next time.

So cool!! Oysters in the middle of nowhere.. See directly from water tank to plate how oysters are managed.. Toptop food and service are so nice and sweet.. We hat oysters, platter AND sushi.. A must to visit!!

Oysters R Us is a fun stop on the garden route! They have a really nice outdoor dining area that was lovely with the weather. The service and ladies working here are so friendly, it was really nice to chat with them. We’re obsessed with oysters and love everything about the horticulture and growing process, and these oysters are.. interesting. They store their oysters live in freshwater tanks, which I actually think is filtering out the flavor of the oysters. They tasted almost pickled and dry, which is an unusual flavor I don’t usually come across. The oysters we had in the city (stored on ice, same breed) were much richer, saltier, and creamier. Just a theory! Sushi was fine. It wasn’t my favorite but made for a good lunch. This was a fun stop but you might find better oysters elsewhere!

Really mind blowing how this place has such high ratings? These were without a doubt the worst oysters I’ve ever had, totally flavourless. In addition to being the worst, they were the most expensive. I LOVE oysters so this was a really disappointing experience. I felt sorry for the table next to me who were having oysters for the first time. Skip this place.

I would recommend this place to any oyster lovers. It has friendly staff, delicious oysters, and cheap prices! The oysters where nice and fresh, you could even add your own sauces! Love this place would recommend.
