On arrival it feels like a hidden gem — though perhaps hidden for a reason. The atmosphere was pleasant and the children’s climbing frame is a great touch. Unfortunately, some of the waiting staff were surprisingly rude, which really let the experience down. The sushi and oysters were fairly average, and the calamari was extremely disappointing — so much so that I initially mistook it for onion rings. It was tough, bland, and easily the worst calamari I’ve had.
