Super amazing experience! It was my first time buying bulk rocks and boulders, but they made it super easy. The two gentlemen I met were both friendly and very helpful. First time going to this store. Was in the lobby with two guys upfront at the desk and me alone looking at products. They seemed way to comfortable how I looked I guess and were talking about there issues and cursing left and right out loud. I could clearly hear. As more clients walked in they seem to change there approach and were acting more like an employee and talking properly. I then asked them about a certain plant. Showed them a picture. The plant is Purple Heart plant (Tradescantia pallida). They didn’t even know the name. Then said oh yes he have those out back. Took me to the plant and said the picture was a purple agave. Absolutely not a clue what plants are which.
I ended up buying some mulch in bags. I then go to get loaded up. Next thing you know I hear a big bang. Forklift and pallet jabbed into the side of my truck. Damaging my truck. I go and tell the desk and they tell me they aren’t responsible and show me a sign saying any damage while loading they aren’t responsible. Make that make sense at a big company.

Mikey is the General Manager and has taken his time to help me outside on my very first visit and beyond. Unheard of! Brennan, well I will probably run out of accolades! Brennan, I believe, is the Yard Manager. He has helped me so much on my many trips; always with the absolutely best attitude! As far as I’m concerned OWS is the best!

We purchased about 300 pounds of 1.5” Santorini stones in May 2024. Product was great and so was the service.
In July 2025, we needed more of the same stones, so I came during the week without my husband to pick up another hundred pounds, but I was told that I would have to shovel my own stones into my bag to get weighed and would have to put it in my car myself. I told the guy that we didn’t have to do that ourselves last time and he said that they no longer do that so they don’t have to charge us for “labor“. We weren’t charged for labor the first time. I am a 63-year old grandmother with frozen shoulder, but I guess that doesn’t matter. It was 90°+ that day, which didn’t help. I did see another older couple buying pavestone, but one of the guys helped them with theirs. The couple was surprised when they saw what I was doing and I told them I was told to shovel my own stones.
I didn’t want to have to make another trip back on a weekend when my husband could come, so I took my time and shoveled small scoops of stones until I filled two bags 1/2 full (40 lbs each) since I knew I wouldn’t be able to lift a full bag myself.
Fortunately, one of the young guys in the yard said he would take my stones to the scale to weigh it and would take it to my car. He even loaded it in my trunk, which was greatly appreciated. I didn’t even have to ask him.
Is this the type of service all of your customers should expect?

We were referred out here by a neighbor who has white stones or white rocks in her yard that looks absolutely amazing. Upon getting here I did notice that they had a broad array of landscaping and outdoor supplies, initially you would think that they were like really expensive but it's actually quite affordable. We worked with Chad who was amazing, we had no idea how many rocks we needed but he helped us lay out the format of what we were planning to do in my mom's yard and were able to come up with the exact amount of rocks that we needed he was very helpful in the selection and planning even when we changed it a few times he never got tired, he was very accommodating so if you have to go out here absolutely ask for Chad he was so nice and helpful.

I purchased 2 pallets of inch minus flagstone on 4/17/25 and the one pallet isn't usable.
They don't stand behind the products that they sale.
I have purchased many pallets of inch minus flagstone from other vendors and have never had this type of experience. I understand that there will be breakage during transport, but the the flagstone that Outdoor Warehouse Supply in Lewisville sold me is just bad quality. They tried to justify that what I purchased is normal. Nearly the entire pallet of the flagstone is delaminating or just crumbles in your hands. I offered multiple times to bring the flagstone back for them to look at how bad it is, but they had no interest. So now I have to go buy another pallet of flagstone because I can't use what I purchased from OWS.
I asked to talk to the Owner, but was told that they reviewed my ask and they couldn't help me. I don't like giving businesses bad reviews, but the fact that they wouldn't even look the flagstone I purchased to see for their own eyes, leaves me no choice.
Buyer beware.
