I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Orthopaedic Innovation and Professor Wilson, alongside Vlad who manages the clinic operations. The team is organized, responsive and clearly dedicated to maintaining high standards of care. It’s always a positive experience collaborating with them.
Having been turned down by the NHS for a hip replacement for the past 6 years, due to high blood sugars, I googled private hospitals & came across Orthopaedic Innovation. I emailed & Vlad ( helped me through the process & I am eternally grateful to) replied to me. They recognised my blood sugars were not far off the demands of the NHS, how much of my life had been taken away for the past 6 years & the 24/7 pain I was in. They also used the Kley method which was a lot less invasive & with a much quicker recovery time. Within 1 week, I had spoken to both Surgeons & been for several tests in Harley St. It was agreed for surgery to go ahead the following week. I still couldn't believe it would actually go ahead until 12th February, the day of surgery. I arrived for 7am & was showed to my private room. I went down to the operating theatre & returned to my room, with a brand new shiny hip! I stayed that night & left the following day, after a visit from my 2 favourite Surgeons! Due to my being Diabetic, I would probably had to stay for 3-5 days, on the NHS. I am now on week 3 at home & can do pretty much most things, in moderation, my exercises & walking unaided around the house. The pain I hear you ask, what pain! I feel better day by day & feel it won't be long before I can walk again unaided & get back to living my life again, car boot sales, holidays & playing with my Grandchildren again. Please believe me when I say I cannot recommend them any higher. Having paid for my own treatment, I now feel like it was a bargain. I will never forget this experience & hope after reading this, you make the decision to take your life back & if you do, I hope you will check out Orthopaedic Innovation & been as happy as I am!
A knee/leg condition of many years. I did the usual research using reviews and Grok who came up with Prof Wilson and Mr Kley as elite practitioners.
I found them to be charismatic, enthusiastic and informative. Pre op scans and rads were performed. I had my surgery within days at The Weymouth Hospital. This was followed by a nine day stay at Clavadell Rehabilitation Centre in Guildford, which I highly recommend.
This was all co-ordinated and arranged by Vlad in an efficient and cheerful manner including my pre- op overnight accommodation at a local hotel nearby in London. He held the whole thing together making sure you knew he was available throughout.
Here I am five weeks post op still in some pain of course, no surprise after a double level osteotomy. No complaints as I was well warned.
Professor Wilson is not only an incredible surgeon and physician but one of the most caring and kind people we’ve had the honour to be treated by. He treats both me and my husband like family and has and still is helping us both with our complicated knee issues.
He and his team are always warm, helpful and very efficient and I’d highly recommend them

Had my ACL surgery on 8th January 2026 and all the staff were friendly and attentive. Hospital was clean. I had no need to use the crutches provided. All the pre and post op appointments have been a pleasure to attend. I have been looked after by Vlad Martis who answered any questions within a few minutes. Can’t thank Professor Wilson and his team enough.
Amazing team and service. I had a potentially serious issue come back from one of my scans and the Dr and Vlad got me into see the best specialist instantly, can’t recommend them more highly!

I would definitely recommend Professor Wilson and his teams’ services. I had a right knee ACL reconstruction surgery with meniscus meniscectomy, and an internal brace in place. I have hyper mobile joints, and Prof Wilson was able to successfully conduct the surgery tailored to my condition. I’m 6 weeks post operation and I can say my leg has been progressing very well, with little to no pain in the knee. Very pleased with the results and won’t hesitate to find the team again in the future where needed.

They were not only highly skilled but also incredibly understanding and compassionate, making the experience smooth and comfortable. Having nursed my wife through a lengthy posterior THR, two years ago, I thought there has to be a better way.
I began investigating the minimally invasive approach, discovered Orthopaedic Innovation, and Mr Kristian Kley's development of the Rottenger technique and his partnership with Prof Adrian Wilson. After watching every video I could on YouTube, I was convinced this was what I wanted.
My first contact was with Vlad Martis and he couldn't have been more helpful and reassuring. He addressed any concerns I had, including the logistics of having to travel to London for the procedure. He was always at the end of the phone throughout the entire process.
I then had a phone conversation with Adrian Wilson, followed by a remote meeting with Kristian Kley. Not only are they brilliant surgeons, but they are lovely people, reassuring and friendly.
I had one trip to Harley Street for pre-op, x-ray and consultation with Adrian.
The next week I had my right hip replaced by them at Weymouth Street Hospital. Five hours after surgery I walked unaided down the ward corridor. I had one night in hospital and travelled home the next day.
Big shout out to all of the staff at Weymouth Street Hospital, who were all amazing!
I have continued to improve daily. Six days post op and I am walking up and down full flights of stairs, unaided and, with very minimal discomfort.

From the very first appointment with the team I was listened to and treated with respect.
On the day of my surgery for a full hip replacement I was met by the team and shown my lovely clean room. Even the in house chef came to speak to me about the menu which I must add the good was lovely.
I was up and walking to the bathroom within hrs after my op ..
no real pain just slight discomfort!
Less then 24 hrs after my surgery prof Kristian came and see me , I was walking unaided and no pain.
I’m now nearly 3 months in recovery and I feel fantastic, I have never used the crutches in my home at all ..
I am doing all the things I couldn’t do , I walk my large dog twice a day and doing normal everyday activities
I even enjoy going to bed and sleeping!
I cannot recommend this team enough they have given me my life back .,.

I had been waiting 8 years for the technique's and technology to continue improving for a hip replacement procedure. I was delighted to see that Kristian and Adrian have achieved that and I am delighted with my choice. This was my first operation and as many are, I was nervous as to what to expect. It has been everything the client video testimonials talk to and I was pain free and mobile from day 1. Excited to start my rehabilitation in earnest in the next few weeks and to enjoying the summer walks in the Cotswolds. I will have no hesitation choosing the OI team when my right hip requires the same… hopefully in a few more years!
I saw Professor Wilson today for an opinion about my knee . The whole experience was exceptional, in all aspects . The MRI scan, taken before the consultation meant I had a diagnosis , discussed options and then treatment via simple steroid injection .All done at a relaxed pace . If I could, I would give more than 5 stars to this clinic and Professor Wilson .
I have had nothing but a positive experience and Professor Wilson has shown a great knowledge regarding osteoarthritis in the knee. My plan to receive a partial knee replacement has been postponed due to his suggestion to try PRP injections first. After 2 months my knee pain has vertially gone and we will review again in a few months.

I went in with a small meniscus tear that healed beautifully with physio, and instead got a full PowerPoint presentation on PRP, HTO, and surgeries so intense they still visit me in my dreams.

This is the most amazing hip operation.
From the very first time I contacted
OI and had my initial telephone chat with Prof Wilson, it was plain sailing. I could not believe I was booked in so quickly.
Prof Wilson was extremely friendly and explained everything. He has had a Kley Rapid hip replacement., so is able to explain it first hand. They work together as a brilliant team, Dr Kley doing hips and Prof Wilson doing knees.
The whole process was very slick and their team are great and very patient.
The Weymouth Hospital did a great job and kept me pain free throughout the night. My operation only took 15 minutes! I was out by 9.30 the next day and could walk without crutches. I left with a massive bag of pills and carefully given instructions by a very kind and professional nurse.
I did suffer a bit of pain afterwards because I cannot taken Ibuprofen. However the team were so helpful and sorted me out and Prof Wilson organised for some different medication to be sent out to me. I was also told to rest and this was a great help but I am not good at!
Two weeks later I was standing at a Christmas drinks party enjoying myself.
4 to 5 weeks later I was going on longish walks. Today, which is exactly 6 weeks post op, I went for a long beautiful walk at Covehithe, in Suffolk. The tide was coming in fast so it was often over difficult, slippery and rocky terrain but pain free😁. (Photo of me and my walking friends below. I am on the right).
It is so lovely to be back working with horses, on the ground at the moment but
I can’t wait to start riding again very soon.
I am going to Nepal in April to help my husband lead his treks and jungle safaris in Nepal. I can’t wait.
It is just beyond wonderful to be back doing all the things I love, pain free.
