Travelling a lot for work there are times where one can never be too careful about bed bugs- they’re both invasive and incredibly disruptive to one’s home, not to mention gross. That being said, Sam and Eddie of Orkin K9 were absolutely incredible. Sam took the time to explain the process and go through what to expect, they were patient with my intense detest and nervousness about bed bugs and they explained different things to look for in future for travels and the process if they are found, providing relief that the inspection and next steps do not need to be daunting nor overwhelming. Eddie is an awesome working dog, focused while working and so friendly when his vest was off. The both of them truly eliminated my fears in home and now I have peace of mind for future and next steps. In all reality the process itself was expedited, adorable and efficient. I highly recommend the team and will be using them annually not only as a precautionary measure but as a baseline for my own travels. Huge kudos and thank you to them both.

Had an absolutely wonderful experience with my Orkin Inspector Matt and his wonderful dog. He was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. He really took the time to listen to my concerns and do a complete inspection that I was completely satisfied with. If I ever have concerns in the future I wouldn’t hesitate to have them come back again. They were a great team. Thanks again!

Very thorough inspection for pests. All questions were answered in an understandable manner. The inspector was polite and helpful. Very great service. I have used ORKIN several times and their service is great and got rid of all the problems with rodents and insects which never came back. Bravo!!

The website lacks important information, and when we called with questions, we were told someone would call us back. We never received a callback and had to contact them again ourselves. When we finally spoke with someone, they were not helpful and were unable to provide the information we needed. Based on that experience, it was an easy decision to look elsewhere for pest control services.

When the technician arrived this morning, he tried to put on his booties when he entered my home. Dysan lost his balance and fell into my hallway shelf. He said he had a sore foot. I suggested with a sore foot he should not try to install the Yellow Jacket bag in the backyard because he'd have to stand on outdoor furniture. I suggested he just inspect the crawl space downstairs and the bait stations in the backyard. These are regular parts of an Orkin service call to my home, which Dyson is completely familiar with. He said that he couldn't do that. He left and did not complete the inspection. He left 2 Yellow Jacket bags and inspected nothing. No fault on him. He shouldn't have been working when he couldn't do the work. I called Orkin 2 times today to discuss Dyson's inability to complete his work and my concern for his ability to conduct field work. I have not received a call back from Mike. Dyson arrived at 9:15 this morning and at this writing, it's 7:32p.m. No return call, as yet. Let's see what happens tomorrow. PS Spoke with Mike this morning and this matter is resolved. Thanks Mike for reaching out.

Had my second treatment today. It's such a stressful and difficult time to have bed bugs. Azmal and Karan took time to talk me through the habits of bb's. Azmal told me what he was looking for and how the chemicals work. He is an expert technician and also aware of the traumatic experience I am going through. Karen was like a therapist listening to my ruminating and my overthinking.. The whole experience was reassuring. I am comforted that the situation is in very capable hands and appreciate that Azmal and Karan did not dismiss my feelings of concern and anxiety. Thank you.

Although the phone support was a good start.,my actual technician was not reassuring. He didn’t know if I would receive a warranty. Didn’t say much about carpenter ants other than, “Whoa you’ve got a lot of ants”. Couldn’t address my hornet issue inspite of my reporting this on the initial phone call. I don’t not want a repeat visit from that technician. (I opted not to use his name here). 2 days after his visit the carpenter ants seemed to be replaced with small house ants.

No one dreams of calling in pest control specialists for a roach problem. But if you do, you want them to be total pros. I called Orkin Canada Thursday, and they sent a technician Friday who chemically treated my whole townhouse. The problem was pretty much gone by Sunday morning. Does it get any better than this? Nope.
