Do be mindful that if the work carried out is minutes( mine was approximately 15. I timed it), you are still charged for the hour. I made a few attempts to converse with someone in charge and unfortunately was sent in the modern 'customer care' loop and rather disappointingly don't care about customer' responses.
I have now noticed that there are companies out there that do charge by the half hour. My reliance on endorsement from my plumber led me to not do sufficient research.

Our pricing is based on a standard hourly rate, which covers travel, equipment, and labour, even when a blockage is resolved quickly. We always aim to be as transparent and helpful as possible, and we apologise if this wasn't clearly communicated on this occasion.
Cant thank Alex and Toby enough for their brilliant work just now fixing a long standing problem at my elderly neighbour's house. They took the time to show her the problem and then fixed it and showed us the clear run on the camera. They were also really quick to respond to the call earlier this morning. Thank you guys - really appreciate it.
PS Also realised that Alex had removed a blockage on my own house about a year ago - so that is 2 5star reviews due! Highly recommend OPC on service and price and definitely recommend Alex and Toby!

We have used OPC for the past 23 years. All the staff are friendly, professional and well informed. This week we had a larger job because of the age and blockages in the system. The men could not have been more helpful and worked with the ground work man from another company to complete the job leaving almost no damage to the lawn. Frankly we were amazed and most grateful. We are certainly not going anywhere else for this service. Thank you.

What an excellent service: a quick response to an evening call out, with update by text on arrival time, and a rapid clearing of a (very unpleasant!) blockage in the soil stack. The two young men who attended were professional, polite and clear in their explanations. Such a relief to get this sorted speedily.

Amazing experience with OPC after a very stressful day waiting for two different Swindon companies to respond to my emergency call due to a blocked drain. Wayne was not only professional and reassuring on the phone but also had a great sense of humour and dealt with a very blocked drain to the main sewage quickly and efficiently at 7:40pm on a Saturday in the rain, avoiding an issue which in days could have been disastrous.
My bank card was with my daughter and the card reader was low on charge but no issue at all Wayne just said he would invoice me. (Very reasonably priced) When I asked for his name to give a review he commented there were two Wayne’s but wouldn’t give his surname with a cheeky laugh saying ‘they will know it’s me’. This is the type of company and person you need in a crisis when others have let you down…will always recommend OPC from now on!!!
