We had a fantastic time staying in The Hide at One Cat Farm, it was peaceful, relaxing and everything we were hoping for! We booked the outdoor baths for our first night and loved watching the bats flying over head. Jessie also recommended us a waterfall walk which started from the farm so we didnt need to travel. Thank you Jessie, Lyndon & the cats!

A wonderful oasis of calm and kindness. We stayed in a very comfortable and warm cabin overlooking a boating pond in a beautiful spot. The wood fired bath was a bonus! As were the swallows nesting in the barn and Frog the friendly cat. Would love to return xx

We visited in May 2026 for a second time, and we already can’t wait to visit again - this place is incredible. Our kids loved the swing, the hammock, the cats and the outdoors.

It’s hard to put in to words, how unique and wonderful one cat farm is. We stayed here a year ago, and as a family, we love nature, exploring and seeing new places and rarely visit the same place twice as we are always looking for new adventures, but, we returned just one year later, because it was just soooo good! If you love, slow living, beaches, nature, star gazing, wild swims, fire pits, bbq’s and cosy (luxurious!) cabins and of course cats! then this is absolutely your vibe. We will return again and again, because its hard to find a place that connects to you soul like this ❤️

A slice of paradise - beautiful location with the comfiest beds, most calming view, and everything you could need. I'll struggle to camp elsewhere now we've been to this magical green idyll! Children said it was the best weekend ever - they caught 10 newts, lit numerous fires and became happily feral. Wonderful 😊

Our weekend at One Cat Farm was absolutely perfect. The cabin was lovely and had everything we needed. The beds were amazingly comfortable, everything was clean, and the cabin was very warm at night. The kitchen had everything we could need and we loved being able to cook on the campfire. There was plenty for the children to do and our highlights were the rope swing and swimming in the pond.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay in the Holt. Our kids loved the rowing boat, swing and cooking on campfire. The whole place is really thoughtfully laid out and equipped. Top quality bedding, decor, bathrooms and kitchen kit. All spotlessly clean. We loved it!

We recently came back from a lovely tech free half term holiday we were slightly apprehensive as we have 2 teenagers who live on their mobiles and an 8YO always on her iPad. I read a book for the first time in probably 10 years A year living Danishly which I loved. We played cards, made fires outside where we toasted marshmallows and cooked sausages had wet windy walks on beautiful beaches went swimming in the sea and felt like we reconnected. Unfortunately the weather was against us but the cosy autumn vibes at one cat farm kept us all warm. The hosts were also very helpful during our stay.

We had such a lovely stay at One Cat Farm! Our cabin was so cozy and the covered kitchen/dining area meant we could enjoy the outdoors despite some extreme weather. The wood-heated baths were amazing, and we loved meeting two of the cats. We will definitely be returning!

A wonderfully relaxing off-grid short break. I stayed at One Cat Farm recently with a friend. We both have fairly stressful care sector jobs and needed a relaxing escape. We stayed in The Den for 3 nights. The cabin was beautiful, every detail was just perfect. Warm, cosy and comfortable. Even a rainy day didn't spoil our stay, we just relaxed - read, chatted, napped, drank tea - something almost unheard of for either of us! A glorious second day had us exploring the site, chasing dragonflies with our cameras and thoroughly enjoying ourselves in the sunshine. We had booked the 'Smokin Hot Baths' as a treat - oh my goodness, what a special experience! Lying in a hot bath in the open air, watching the blue sky, listening to the birds and just blissing out. Lying back in our seats around the fire pit in the evening and looking up at the dark-dark sky was amazing - the Milky Way, satellites, shooting stars and the Space Station had us entranced. Jessie and Lyndon are wonderful hosts and made us feel so welcome. They really have thought of everything and have created a truly wonderful retreat. The award for outstanding customer service must however go to Frog. Meet and greeter, site guide, lap warmer, knee kneader, personal guard when we were in the hot baths and winner of the loudest purr award. We were both smitten! I'm running out of superlatives, just go and see for yourselves...

One Cat Farm was the perfect escape from the real world - the cabin was beautiful and comfortable, the care and attention from Jessie and Lyndon were stellar. Adored every second, and would recommend anyone go for a total switch off from the day to day.

Jessie and Lyndon have paid such attention to detail, from your name on a sign welcoming you to the cabin, to wheelbarrows to transport your bags, big bundles of firewood provided when you arrive, your cabin's own bathroom, stacks of books in the cabin, OS maps of walks, provision of hot water bottles and so much more. You can do as much or as little as you like but I recommend swimming in the pond, going for walks and runs (would never have discovered the parkrun without the note in the local info folder), borrow a jigsaw, fuss the cats and keep an eye out for bats and hedgehogs. The wood fired bath under the stars was bliss. It’s a very special place. I really hope to return

Perfect We all loved our stay, welcomed on arrival. Loved the peace and quiet and the natural sounds while enjoying the outdoor space. Accommodation was perfect and everything we needed to cook from scratch. Information about local quiet beaches etc was perfect. Cannot recommend enough 😀

From the point of arrival we were made completely at home and welcome, points of interest and quiet beaches were easy to find with a few chats with our hosts. Quite time after 10 pm and beautiful dark skies for star watching was magical. Would happily visit again and if possible would happily live in the lodge we booked. 👍

An absolutely beautiful place to stay in any season, we have now visited a number of times because everything is so perfectly done. Peaceful, relaxing, calming, everything you need is provided, but the hosts also go the extra mile with lovely homely touches and it made the experience feel special. I couldn’t have asked for any better from a mini break. Also lots to see & do in the local area and all info provided too. Diolch yn fawr iawn xx
