Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I’m sorry you feel disappointed with the visit and I’d like to clarify what was involved.

On 30th December we attended within 2 hours of your call, which was explained at the time as a chargeable call-out of £75 + VAT. This covers emergency attendance, inspection, fault diagnosis and professional advice — not just time on site.

During the visit the source of the boiler leak was identified and shown to the person who answered the door, and it was explained that specific parts would be required to carry out the repair. I then sourced prices for these parts and later discussed repair and replacement options with you when you arrived.

You decided not to proceed with either option, which is absolutely fine, and you were under no obligation to do so. However, the call-out charge still applies for the attendance, diagnosis and time given.

We always aim to be transparent, responsive and fair, and many customers value the speed, expertise and honest advice we provide — especially during the winter period.
