BUYER BEWARE:
EDITED: Initially I gave Olympia Buildings a 5 star review immediately after ordering. Since then there were enough issues I wanted to take the time to give everyone some detailed insights. My initial dealings with Seth in sales was great, however, when I had issues I had zero call back from him to help me sort out the problems I encountered along the way. Kinda felt like I was hit by a Used Car Salesman. He got the sale and was gone.
Before signing the contract, I asked for assistance in finding a local builder. Seth provided me the name of an individual and he only responded at initial contact BEFORE I signed the contract to say yes he would do it. I thought I was set and signed the contract with Olympia. Same day I signed the contract, I asked the referred builder to send a formal estimate to solidfied our conversation. Multiple attempts leaving VM and email and crickets.
Before signing the contract I was told the production process was 8-12 weeks out. I contracted in 31 May 2025. Around end of July I received a call and email from Shala is shipping requesting that I pick a delivery window. I was shocked. We barely had our land cleared, a concrete guy lined upped and permits in hand. Shala was the best person in the entire Olympia experience. We stayed in regular contact and she even assisted sorting some issues out outisde of her immediate purview. And, we still had no builder.
Fast forward to October. Building scheduled for delivery and concrete is readying to be poured. All cotract parties were provided the plans sent from engineering when they arrived in June, however, when the building went to production in July no one from Olympia ever sent us the actual construction plans. So I week before the concrete pour, the concrete guys are like hey we need the construction plans to wet set the anchor bolts. So on Wednesday I reach out and ask for about construction plans and speak to George and Tim who are dumb founded that no one every sent them to us. I'm thinknig that if the kit was completedly in July that surely this is just a quick call/email and boom plans appear - NO! It literally took 5 business days to get the plans from engineering. We missed our wet set opportuntity with the anchor bolts so I was stuck paying additional labor costs to have the concrete crew come back and drill/set the bolts.
Word to the wise. Quick to set the hook on the sale, but extermely lacking on follow up support/emails/phone calls when you need assistance - EXCEPT Shala. She and her staff went above and beyone each time.
