We could not be happier with Okot Electric. Jake was able to come earlier than scheduled to take a look at a couple plugs we had been having issues with. He followed wires throughout a myriad of wires in our older house and was quick to make a determination as to what caused the problem and proceeded to fix it. We asked about a couple other items and he gave us an estimate. We will certainly have him back. We have been impressed with the professionalism and genuinely nice people at Okot. Highly recommend them for your electrical needs.

We have had Okot Electric out to do some work on a couple issues we've had. Jake was fantastic. He listened to what and where we thought our issue was and then searched throughout our basement following wires to solve our immediate problem. There were a couple non urgent items we asked him to look at and he provided estimates on future work. Definitely will have him back to handle any electrical problems our older home has. We had Okot do some work at my sister's home before selling and we were so pleased with their professionalism and genuinely nice people that we would recommend them to everyone.

I see all of the great reviews, and maybe I am old school, but I couldn't get over the $69 dispatch fee. I totally get it, if I don't end up using you, that I should pay something for an electrician coming out, but I always expect the dispatch fee to then get included in whatever I pay to have work performed. Happy to proven otherwise, but this is the first time I have encountered a home services company that will not apply the dispatch fee into whatever work is then performed.

It sounds like there may have been a misunderstanding, so I want to clarify. We actually do apply the $69 service call toward the work when you move forward with the repair. If no work is needed, then the $69 simply covers the visit, evaluation, and time.

We’ve found this approach keeps things fair homeowners only pay for the visit if they choose not to proceed, while still getting full value if they do.

I had the pleasure of working with Jake G. both at my home when I blew an outlet and needed to convert it to a double outlet and at my rental home where I needed all of the switches and outlets replaced. He was friendly and informative from the first time he stepped out of his van. He explained the work easily and was crazy efficient for the work he had. Scheduling was all very easy and the front office is very communicative and pleasant! I'll definitely use Okot for my future electrical needs and hopefully Jake shows up!
