Odynovo I learned about Odynovo through TikTok and contacted them for a three-city China tour for our family of six. Leila was extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and considerate of our special needs. We revised the itinerary several times, and she was always patient and accommodating. The final plan was perfect for first-time visitors and a great educational introduction to Chinese culture. Odynovo’s planning process was smooth, well organized, and easy to follow. The private tour was professionally tailored, detail-oriented, and reasonably priced. The tour guides in each city were outstanding—professional, helpful, and truly working for us. Having traveled to over 80 countries, we can confidently say these were among the best guides we’ve ever had. We give them all 10 out of 10 and highly recommend Odynovo. Beijing Tracy was extremely knowledgeable about all the places we visited in Beijing, including the Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Great Wall. She skillfully guided us through the shortest lines at these high-traffic sites, saving us a lot of time and stress. We especially enjoyed the hutong rickshaw ride, which ended with a Chinese calligraphy session at a local teacher’s home. Tracy was very accommodating to our multi-generational family, helping us find specific Chinese snacks, costume rentals, and even medications when needed. When she learned we wanted to try certain Beijing delicacies, she made sure to order them for our meals or recommended the best places to find them. During the rickshaw ride, she even biked out to buy us donkey burgers! Tracy paid attention to every detail—from arranging red-cap porters to help with luggage at the train station to ensuring everyone was comfortable at all times. She is truly an “old hand” in Beijing. Having traveled to many countries, we confidently give her a 10 out of 10 and our strongest recommendation. Ask for Tracy if you’re visiting Beijing. The hotel was centrally located and very convenient, and we enjoyed wonderful meals featuring famous Beijing dishes. Our young granddaughter dressing up in traditional costume and taking photos at the palace was a highlight of the trip. The only minor disappointment was the buffet lunch near the Great Wall, which felt touristy and overpriced, though it was likely the best option available in the countryside. ChengDu Our hotel in Chengdu was in a very convenient location, close to the metro, shopping centers, and night markets. Visiting the pandas and Sanxingdui Museum were definite highlights. Our guide, Keely, was very knowledgeable and guided us efficiently to get the best views with the least crowds. Kuanzhai Alley was another memorable stop, where we tried Sichuan peppercorn ice cream and watched the famous Sichuan face-changing performance. Drinking tea with locals near Wenshu Yuan Monastery was a wonderful way to experience Chengdu’s relaxed lifestyle. Keely and our driver were both very accommodating throughout the trip. We enjoyed all kinds of delicious spicy Sichuan food, and Keely always made great recommendations whenever we mentioned something we wanted to try or see. On departure, she didn’t just drop us off at the airport—she stayed until we had checked in and passed security. Her dedication and care were exceptional. Highly recommended! Shanghai is an amazing modern metropolis, especially the evening river cruise along the Bund and a night stroll on Nanjing Pedestrian Road. The food was delicate and flavorful, quite different from Beijing and Chengdu. Yuyuan Garden was a great place to sample local delicacies, and visiting a local park to see people enjoying daily life gave us a wonderful glimpse into the city’s relaxed, healthy, and communal lifestyle.
Our guide, Sophie Lee, was exceptional—friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely accommodating. She knew all the shortcuts to avoid crowds and was great with kids, while also being very familiar with special fares for seniors and children. The driver was also very helpful. Rainy visit in China
From October 8th to 28th of this year, me and my son Marek - who is learning Chinese - visited the classical regions of China.Since we planned a three-week trip, we decided it would be best to use a local travel agency.After speaking with three different companies, we chose Odynovo, based in Guilin, with Mola Xiao responsible for planning our itinerary.She even invited us to dinner during our stay in Guilin - a very kind gesture.Our trip included, in this order:- Beijing- Train to Pingyao and then to Xi'an- Flight to Zhangjiajie- Over 7-hour train to Guilin- Boat trip to Yangshuo- Flight to ShanghaiThe organization of the entire journey - hotels, transfers, guides, and selected attractions - was perfect, and guides exceeded what had been arranged in advance.They often helped us choose and order local dishes for lunch (Laura in Beijing taught us how to order meals at self-service restaurants), accompanied us on an evening stroll around the city, and pointed out local attractions.They also assisted us with visits to theaters that were not included in the itinerary (paid separately by us).For example, in Xi'an our guide Vina accompanied us to a performance about Empress Wu of the Tang Dynasty, and in Yangshuo Ellen helped us attend the famous Impression Sanjie Liu show.Unfortunately, during the first 11 days of our visit (October 8-19), the weather was very poor, with constant rain and fog.This had a disastrous impact on our experience of the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, and especially Zhangjiajie, where we spent three full days - two of which were wasted due to visibility of only 5–10 meters.Many attractions, such as the Tianmen Mountain Cave, were completely invisible. Despite surveillance cameras with publicly available streams at every viewpoint and the efforts of our excellent local guide,Alpha - who did everything possible to show us the best available sights - our visit to Hallelujah (Avatar) Mountain and many other beautiful spots was disappointing and, for me personally, very tiring.I think that in a mountainous places like Zhangjiajie, the guides should have the freedom to choose which day to visit which part within a specific itinerary.Fortunately, once we arrived in Guilin, the weather changed dramatically to sunny and warm, allowing us to admire the extraordinary landscapes of Longji's golden rice terraces and the karst mountains of the winding Li River.A few general comments:In China, nearly all payments are made using QR codes via Alipay and WeChat - cash is practically not used.During the trip, locals were polite and helpful. Their English was poor, though hotel staff generally spoke well.What surprised us was the reluctance of some guides to sit at the same table with us during meals.Tourist sites were consistently crowded and often noisy, and access to certain interiors - such as parts of the Forbidden City - is limited. As for impressions, you'll have to visit them for yourself and form your own opinion.Once again, thanks to Laura from Beijing, Vina from Xi'an, Alpha from Zhangjiajie and Ellen from Guilin, who are in our best memories.
Love our private tour
Our tour guide, Tracy and our driver, were exceptional-attentive, friendly, and always willing to walk with us at our pace. Her experience really showed in the smooth coordination of every part of the tour. She was incredibly flexible, adjusting plans easily to make sure everyone had the best time. We especially loved visiting places such as the Great Wall and the Forbidden City, where we learned so much about the Chinese culture. She also took wonderful care of our elder family members during the Great Wall visit and other places where longer walks were required. in addition, she recommended fantastic restaurants where we could try popular local foods, which made the trip even more memorable. We even tasted Dou Zhi haha.Highly recommended! We had an enjoyable trip.
Bangkok Thailand-So Much to Experience
From the initial planning of our trip to the final flight home, we found Odynovo and our travel consultant, Cathy Hou to be everything we hoped for and more. We arranged a private tour which included a private driver and guide in Bangkok. The culture of SE Asia is so interesting to learn about as it is distinctly from anything we are used to. The long-tailed wooden boat tour through the floating markets were incredible. More commerce was experienced on "Rail Street" where a bustling market with hundreds of vendors comes to a halt as a full-sized passenger train rolls right through their shops...a MUST SEE! Don't forget the Golden Buddha where you'll see a Buddha made of 50 tons of gold.

Queenie, of Odynovo, is the BEST!
From October 30 to November 17, 2025, we traveled to Japan and South Korea, using Odynovo to book virtually everything for our private tours and first class hotel stays. We chose Odynovo after having done so last year for private tours in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand. Last year’s trip was incredible. This is why we used Odynovo again. Queenie was our agent for both trips. Just as before, the entire planning process went well, as Queenie came up with an initial itinerary that was very nearly exactly what we hoped for. For both trips, after very little further input, we had the itinerary finalized.
We were very happy with all of the 5-star hotels. In Kyoto, we asked for a more intimate, boutique hotel. Queenie offered the Fufu Kyoto, which turned out to be, perhaps, our best hotel experience, ever! The private drivers and guides were prompt, kind, flexible, informative, and accommodating. Our guides were Motoki (Tokyo), Sunny (Kyoto & Osaka), Jiwan (Seoul), and Luke (Gyeongju & Busan). We were tremendously happy with all of them!
When we plan our next trip, we will be sure to contact Odynovo, again. Because we have been so happy with Queenie’s efficiency and knowledge, we have recommended her to several of our friends.

Our experience with Odynovo Tours began with email exchanges with our Odynovo Travel Consultant, Queenie Yang. After she gathered enough information to know exactly what we were looking for in a trip to SE Asia, she came up with an excellent itinerary that only needed a few minor adjustments to match our very specific desires. Communicating with Queenie was always quick and efficient, with her returning an email as soon as the different time zones permitted it, often within minutes! The itinerary included 5-star hotels, private guides, private cars and private airport transfers. It was so well-planned that we were able to enjoy our vacation without giving anything a thought, as Queenie had taken care of even the most minute details. After returning home from our month-long trip, it's hard to believe that we never encountered a single problem!
All of the guides were punctual and provided tours that always used time efficiently. EVERY guide provided a wealth of information that was educational, enlightening, and fascinating. We were always taken to local restaurants in order to discover the great tastes of the area. After being with each guide for 3 or 4 days, we felt we had a new friend. The drivers were equally friendly and helpful, always providing excellent driving skills.
Each of the 5-star hotels were unique and offered great accommodations and public areas. These hotels, combined with the wonderful hospitality provided by the employees, helped to make a long trip also restful.
I appreciate the help that the guides always provided upon arrival and departure from the airports. The guides were always with us from check-in until we entered security. What a relief to have someone who speaks the local language ensuring that we were being cared for properly!
In summary, the entire trip was more than we were hoping for. There were never any surprises or unexpected costs. In Bangkok, when a highway closure required a re-routing and re-ordering of our plans, our guide, Nick, took care of it so we wouldn't miss a thing! We will definitely use Odynovo to plan our next adventures!

Nikki put together a great itinerary for us for Thailand which included 3 nights accomodation in Bangkok and 3 nights in Chiang Mai. This included all transfers, hotels, flights and tours. Our itinerary ran seamlessly, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Our tour guide in Bangkok (Aree) was a lovely gentleman, he was very friendly. He was very knowledgeable and was eager to share his stories and information. We had a very enjoyable 2 days in his company visiting the Grand Palace and Ayutthaya. Our tour guide in Chiang Mai was Jira who was also a pleasure to spend time with. We had the most special day spending time with the elephants at the sanctuary. A special thank you to you both for making our time in Bangkok and Chiang Mai memorable. The hotels that Nikki chose for us were beautiful and luxurious, the perfect places to relax after a day of exploring. Thank you Nikki for taking the time to put our itinerary together, it was the perfect holiday. I would not hesitate to use your services again in the future.
