My husband and I have recently come back from our 2 weeks private custom made trip to Greece organized by Odynovo. We had a fantastic time! The trip was very interesting, exciting and relaxing at the same time. We have visited Athens, Delphi, Meteora, Crete, Santorini and Mykonos island. Our agent at Odynovo Mia Wang did a great job organizing every detail and catering to all of our desires. She even coordinated and scheduled COVID testing for us that was needed to return to US. The hotels were selected with utmost care. All of our local guides and drivers were excellent, very professional knowledgeable and polite. Many of them went out of their way to make our travel even more pleasant and comfortable. Many thanks to our driver Andonis, who took us to Delphi and Meteora. We also had a local coordinator - Nagia we could call with any questions or concerns at any time. Mia Wang was sending us messages during the trip to make sure everything is going well. We felt very secure and well taken care of the entire time.
This is our 2nd trip with Odynovo; they organized our travel to Vietnam in 2018 which was absolutely fantastic as well.

Unforgettable Siem Reap Experience with a Private Angkor Guide
Our time in Siem Reap was truly unforgettable. Traveling as a group of eight, we had our own private guide, Khemrint, and driver, Rithy, which made the experience relaxed, personal, and incredibly well organized.Our tour began with Angkor Thom, the ancient “Great City” that once served as the capital of the Khmer Empire. The complex contains an incredible collection of temples and structures, and walking through it was awe-inspiring. The ornately carved stonework and intricate details were absolutely beautiful, and Khemrint’s explanations helped us understand the history, symbolism, and significance of what we were seeing.We also explored Angkor Wat, the Great Temple and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Having a knowledgeable guide made all the difference. Khemrint led us through the temple, pointing out fascinating carvings, explaining the stories behind them, and sharing when and why the temple was built. His passion and depth of knowledge truly brought the site to life.One of the most memorable experiences was sunrise at Angkor Wat. Khemrint guided us to a great viewing spot where we could take photos and simply enjoy the slow, dramatic explosion of colors as the sun rose behind the temple. He even became our photographer and captured many wonderful photos of our group. Khemrint also had a great sense of humor, often cracking jokes along with us as we travelled around.Beyond Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom, we visited the intricately carved Banteay Srei, often called the women’s temple, as well as Ta Prohm - the oldest brick temple in the region, each offering a different perspective on Khmer architecture and history.The tour company took care of all our lunches, and we enjoyed delicious, authentic local Cambodian cuisine every day, making the experience completely stress-free. Another detail worth mentioning is that all the Angkor temple sites had clean, Western-style toilets available. I was concerned about squat toilets, but I never had to use one, and the facilities were consistently clean and well maintained.Throughout our time in Siem Reap, both Khemrint and Rithy were incredibly accommodating. If we wanted to stop at an ATM, browse a shop, or adjust the pace, it was never an issue. Khemrint also made excellent suggestions for our evenings when our schedule was open.Cambodian's are a warm and friendly people. Siem Reap itself was wonderful, an affordable cost of travel, and a place where we felt safe and well cared for. This private, thoughtfully guided experience made exploring the Angkor temples truly special, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a personalized and memorable visit to Siem Reap.

Cambodia's friendly people and historic sites are worth the visit.
We visited Cambodia in December 2025 with a group of 8 friends and had an incredible experience. The country felt surprisingly uncrowded during our stay, which made exploring even more special—at one point, we had an entire river boat tour completely to ourselves. Despite some regional tensions being discussed in the news at the time, we never felt unsafe while traveling.The people were exceptionally warm and welcoming, and the food was a highlight—fresh, flavorful, and very affordable. Our guide Khemrint was super knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and an EXPERT PHOTOGRAPHER. Prices overall were extremely reasonable, making it easy to enjoy great meals and experiences without feeling rushed or budget-conscious. The weather in December was close to perfect: warm days, cooler evenings, and very little rain.We only stayed three days, which in hindsight wasn’t nearly enough. Each day was packed with visits to the breathtaking and historic temples, and we still felt like there was so much more to see and absorb. One practical tip: traffic can be a bit chaotic, so hiring a driver is absolutely worth it and made getting around far less stressful. Our driver Rithy was Mr. Johnny on the Spot whenever and wherever we needed to go. The country is poor so you will see some sad sights, smell burning garbage, and experience some heartbreaking children begging for money or selling overpriced trinkets. Use AI for guidance on how to respond, how much to tip for service daily, etc.Cambodia exceeded our expectations, and we’d love to plan a return trip—next time for much longer.

We had an incredible time with our guide Duc and driver Trung. They looked after us very well. Took us to see Ho Chi Minh mausoleum and ethnology museum. Incredible places. We originally had booked a tour with Odynovo in 2020, but obviously this had to be cancelled due to the pandemic. I felt it important to mention this because the way they handled the cancellation and refunds, despite the number they must have received at that stage was exceptionally professional and kind. That is the reason we went straight to them when it came time to rebook a few years later (life gets in the way!).
When we got back in touch, we were supported by Queenie again, who was incredibly helpful, friendly, and quick in her responses. She tailored a perfect Thailand and Vietnam tour and no question or change was too much.
And what a trip it was! As it was a late honeymoon, Odynovo must have let hotel providers know, and we had swans and welcome sweets at every place we stayed which was a lovely added touch. We even received a small gift from Odynovo so everything felt extra special.
The booking process, transfers, hotel stays and internal flights all ran smoothly, and the whole process and trip were completely stress free because everything had been organised so well. All our guides and drivers were always there to pick us up on time, were friendly, knowledgeable and super happy and proud to be sharing their information and stories with us. We also planned in a few days to ourselves in Phuket, which was amazing.
I was sceptical about a tour company as I usually prefer to arrange everything myself, but I have to say I could not be more impressed with Odynovo. They can make the tour whatever you need it to be, as involved or relaxed as you want, and we absolutely would not have fit in all the experiences and sights that we did without them. We will definitely be booking with them again and I highly, highly recommend them.

First days of honeymoon in Bangkok
We had a great couple of days in Bangkok with Odynovo. Our guide Tao and driver Nat were both great. Tao shared lots of interesting information, and made sure we visited the best spots in the short time we spent there. They were both kind, smiling and efficient. They were also very proactive, kind and understanding when we had to change plans slightly because of a minor medical incident - the individual private tour really made a big difference here as it felt much less stress to have to make a change. Leila was extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and considerate of our special needs. We revised the itinerary several times, and she was always patient and accommodating. The final plan was perfect for first-time visitors and a great educational introduction to Chinese culture. Odynovo’s planning process was smooth, well organized, and easy to follow. The private tour was professionally tailored, detail-oriented, and reasonably priced. The tour guides in each city were outstanding—professional, helpful, and truly working for us. Having traveled to over 80 countries, we can confidently say these were among the best guides we’ve ever had. We give them all 10 out of 10 and highly recommend Odynovo. Beijing Tracy was extremely knowledgeable about all the places we visited in Beijing, including the Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Great Wall. She skillfully guided us through the shortest lines at these high-traffic sites, saving us a lot of time and stress. We especially enjoyed the hutong rickshaw ride, which ended with a Chinese calligraphy session at a local teacher’s home. Tracy was very accommodating to our multi-generational family, helping us find specific Chinese snacks, costume rentals, and even medications when needed. When she learned we wanted to try certain Beijing delicacies, she made sure to order them for our meals or recommended the best places to find them. During the rickshaw ride, she even biked out to buy us donkey burgers! Tracy paid attention to every detail—from arranging red-cap porters to help with luggage at the train station to ensuring everyone was comfortable at all times. She is truly an “old hand” in Beijing. Having traveled to many countries, we confidently give her a 10 out of 10 and our strongest recommendation. Ask for Tracy if you’re visiting Beijing. The hotel was centrally located and very convenient, and we enjoyed wonderful meals featuring famous Beijing dishes. Our young granddaughter dressing up in traditional costume and taking photos at the palace was a highlight of the trip. The only minor disappointment was the buffet lunch near the Great Wall, which felt touristy and overpriced, though it was likely the best option available in the countryside. ChengDu Our hotel in Chengdu was in a very convenient location, close to the metro, shopping centers, and night markets. Visiting the pandas and Sanxingdui Museum were definite highlights. Our guide, Keely, was very knowledgeable and guided us efficiently to get the best views with the least crowds. Kuanzhai Alley was another memorable stop, where we tried Sichuan peppercorn ice cream and watched the famous Sichuan face-changing performance. Drinking tea with locals near Wenshu Yuan Monastery was a wonderful way to experience Chengdu’s relaxed lifestyle. Keely and our driver were both very accommodating throughout the trip. We enjoyed all kinds of delicious spicy Sichuan food, and Keely always made great recommendations whenever we mentioned something we wanted to try or see. On departure, she didn’t just drop us off at the airport—she stayed until we had checked in and passed security. Her dedication and care were exceptional. Highly recommended! ShangHai Shanghai is an amazing modern metropolis, especially the evening river cruise along the Bund and a night stroll on Nanjing Pedestrian Road. The food was delicate and flavorful, quite different from Beijing and Chengdu. Loving Hanoi!
Just wrapped up our amazing first time trip to Vietnam and I loved every minute. Our tour guide Quyen was super knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole trip feel like a dream. We had a blast from our rickshaw ride to the cruise to Halong Bay and the pictures are amazing! Quyen quickly rearranged things for us when we forgot to mention we wanted to visit Train Street and it was the highlight of Hanoi! Quyen’s the best!!
