Being in the yachting industry, I’ve been to many nautical schools around the globe. Ocean Sports Tuition, and specially the owner Andy, are the best out there. Being a non-native english speaker, professional courses are always a bit daunting to me and this school did its best to push me to learn as much as I could, in a very supportive way. Couldn’t recommend more.

I had the pleasure of being trained by Ocean Sports Tuition for my Powerboat 2 license this week. The whole experience was great from start to finish with my first dealings with Andy, and then Iain was a brilliant instructor who was very clear, calm and knowledgeable. The course was carried out with humour, support and challenges, to ensure understanding and a massive focus on care and safety. 100% would recommend anyone wanting to take their first steps into Powerboating or next level experience going to Ocean Sports. What on the first morning was excitement and nerves, soon turned to enjoyment and fun and lots of knowledge. By the end of the 2nd day, what was initially daunting seemed natural. Thanks again Iain, it was a fabulous couple of days, and I had a great group to learn with. I will be back soon for the next stage of the journey. The bug, has definitely bitten!!!

Absolutely fantastic experience on a Powerboat Level 2. Ian H was engaging and personable whilst keeping everyone safe and hydrated in the hot weather. Really enjoyable course and would recommend!

Completed my advanced powerboat course with OST recently and would thoroughly recommend them. This was the first time I had undertaken any training with this particular school, and had mainly chosen them as they appear one of the few places that run an advanced course outside the winter months. I had seen the glowing reviews on Google and social media and can only echo those sentiments. High spec, well maintained and tidy boats and kit. Iain was a fantastic instructor - whose depth of knowledge and experience was obvious, and he really made the course enjoyable. I had been slightly apprehensive about the course as I know it can be quite demanding, but both in the classroom and out on the water was really relaxed and enjoyable - whilst still being super professional.... I both learned and laughed a lot! Highly recommended.
Highly recommend this training centre, incredibly proficient instructor and professional setting. Website is clear and booking is a breeze, plenty of practical time on the Powerboat 2 course with the second day being entirely skippered by the students. Certainly looking to progress using this centre exclusively.

World Class! Exceptional professionals, training and customer experience. Extremely positive team and experience. Andy Murray, the manager, went above and beyond offering unique, personalised training for me with Andy and Josh, both of whom were exceptional and developed my knowledge, practical boat handling in different conditions and thus confidence. I completed my PB2 (Instructors Ramos and Ollie) and PB Intermediate (Instructors Andy and Trish). We also completed a day on an Axopar with Andrew. All Instructors were exceptional/excellent. Ocean Sports is a stand out organisation with exceptionally high standards in all areas, I.e.: Safety, training, customer experience, training facility (with air conditioning), boats and equipment/kit/safety. At first I was apprehensive and all of the staff were extremely patient and understanding, walking me through strategies and techniques. Ocean Sports is World Class and an exemplar operator within industry.

Awesome PB2 Course
Absolutely fantastic 2 day Powerboat Course. We did a lot of research on different training providers and definitely weren't disappointed. Very relaxed, but really informative 2 day course - most tuition is on the water on a well-equipped RIB (backed up with a small amount of classroom work). Ocean sports weren't a local option for us; but definitely worth the journey / hotel; we'll be back for the next stage in powerboat training. Many thanks to Andy & Andy

Excellent tuition and very good training room facilities. Friendly and supportive tutor Iain making time and easy to converse with. Everything explained properly. Excellent Rib and boating facilities. Balance of theory and practical seemed just right. Very enjoyable experience during my intermediate power boat course. Will book again for further courses.

What an experience, what a joy, what a thrill! Absolutely loved it! The trainer Oakley is a brilliant young coach. Still 22 though, he’s a mini encyclopaedia of the sea!

Ollie and ramos are great instructors very knowledgeable and great to learn from. I was placed with ramos for the practice he was very helpful and great at explaining and helpful in explaining where you went wrong and how to correct it next time or to how to save it. Ollie was great in the theory and great at teaching the knowledge needed and was not get reading from paper had a bring of everything for everyone way of learning. Great guys and could have a laugh with definitely recommend this course
