I would like to share the phenomenal experience I've had with Norman Spencer in our defense against an investigation into misconduct by the NY State Office of Professional Discipline. Norman lived up to his word, and he knew the NYS director and prosecutors very well. His advice for me to write a letter explaining my position was well founded and he helped to edit and emphasize that document. Norman was spot on in his advice to me to be contrite, remorseful, and to take accountability - together with his advice to offer an explanation for the circumstances and my role in them. Finally, Norman allowed me the latitude to write and read a prepared statement / letter during my Informal Settlement Conference, which I believe was the perfect move for our defense. Of course Norman read and reviewed that letter before allowing me to read it. I could not be happier with the representation I received and I am so grateful for the outcome and reduced settlement.
