It was a great experience. I mainly went for the pools. I also got to go to visit the saunas. It’s like I had water massage therapy all day 😃. I think the price is well worth it as they do have a lot to offer for it as many outdoors and indoors pools and saunas open throughout the premises. If you want massages or other services they are available for another fee of course. You don’t have to bring anything besides your swing suit; they provide a robe towels, sleepers, shampoo, conditioner and soap. I went on a weekday and it was about 60 degrees Fahrenheit outside. It wasn’t crowded. The transition between the day and night was cool as you also get to experience the blue lightning colors of the pools at night and its steamy effects because of the cold air outside. All pools were warm and working with the weather outside. I just wish that they allow to swim a little since to swim it’s also therapeutic, but I get it, it’s a spa not a recreational pool. Since they are not saving any lives besides telling people to use the stairs to get into the pools instead of going around to prevent them from falling, the life guards should be cleaning more often the plastic cups and waste that disrespecting people leave sitting around the pools. Only a girl lifeguard was cleaning the cups and watching out, the other three guards were pointless to be honest. At night some couples were showing off more signs of affection than in the afternoon but it wasn’t too much I guess lol. Other than that it was a great experience. I will definitely come back since I love being in the pools.

I’ve been going to Spa Castle since it first opened. I stopped going for a while when it turned into a zoo and started filling up with drunk people coming in after a night of clubbing. Lately, though, it’s been peaceful again. They’ve done some renovations, but for the most part, it’s still the same place. My favorite area is the bathhouse. That’s where you get the real heat—from the steam room and the jacuzzies. The rooftop whirlpools are just okay. Some of the jets actually work and help get the knots out of your body, while others don’t work at all. I also didn’t feel like the water up there was very clean—I was itchy until I took a shower afterward. I had turn on a jet and so much bubbles came out of it. There was excessive foam on the surface. There was also rust in certain areas by the pool. After a renovation you wouldn't expect to see rust underneath the swing chairs Honestly, the bathhouse alone is more than enough reason for me to go .I also appreciate that the employees are strict about the no-bathing-suit rule in the tubs. I understand that some women may not feel comfortable being fully naked, but for sanitary reasons, bathing suits really shouldn’t be allowed in the bathhouse. And since a lot of women don't want to be fully naked I mostly had the area to myself. Best time to meditate in the heat! For some reason they do not have hairdryers. All spas i have been to have hairdryers. I could not believe I had to go outside with wet hair in 20 degree weather. At $85 to $110 per entry ticket why isn't their hairdryers in the locker room???? another thing I *have* to mention is the Korean restaurant on the top floor Sky Garden. The food was great, but the kimchi situation was absolutely criminal. They gave me **two** pieces of kimchi—and when I say two, I mean literally two lonely pieces of cabbage. I asked for more, because in what universe is banchan not free at a authentic Korean restaurant? they charged me **two dollars**. Okay, maybe refills aren’t free… but TWO pieces to start with?! That’s not a serving—that’s a sample. They possibly don't want to give out to much kimchi so it doesn't go to waste. But maybe ask the customer if they like kimchi. As a half-Korean, I was deeply, spiritually, and ancestrally offended because I need my kimchi with my meal

I will definitely be back. But will think twice again about the Korean Scrub. If your skin is as sensitive as mine, I implore you to tell them go easy. 😁

I’ve been a loyal Spa Castle customer from day one, even during the times they closed for renovations. I’ve always supported this place and truly wanted it to continue being great. Last Wednesday, we visited from around 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM (they close at 9:30 PM), so we were mindful not to rush them or their closing shift. Overall, the spa experience itself was good. The facilities were fine, and the food was absolutely chef’s kiss as always - that part never disappoints. I also understand that prices have gone up, and while Spa Castle is now priced similarly to SoJo Spa, I didn’t mind paying more since everything else in life has also gone up. However, the experience was completely ruined at the very end. When we were about to leave, we realized there were no hair dryers at all - not even one. Yes, you read that right: a spa with NO hair dryers. I asked the three ladies at the front desk if there were any hair dryers available, and they told me, “We don’t have any. Customers steal them.” I was shocked. That is not the customer’s responsibility — it’s the spa’s responsibility to manage and replace basic amenities. A hair dryer is a basic service at any spa, especially in winter, when it’s cold outside and people cannot walk out with wet hair. When we went to check out, a male and a female staff member were at the counter. The man asked how our experience was, and I honestly said everything was fine except for the fact that there were no hair dryers, which was very disappointing. He looked at the female staff member, and she said, “We do have one hair dryer. Did you ask them?” I told her yes — we asked twice, and three employees told us there were none. Instead of apologizing or trying to help, her tone was rude and dismissive. There was no effort to resolve the issue or even acknowledge how uncomfortable and unfair that situation was. No spa should send guests out into the cold with wet hair after they paid full price for the experience. Sadly, the lack of basic amenities and the unprofessional attitude at the front desk completely ruined what could have been a great visit. I was very disappointed, especially as someone who has supported Spa Castle for years. At this point, I would rather go to King Spa or SoJo Spa, where customer service and basic spa standards are taken seriously. Very upsetting experience, and sadly, I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Scam likely!!! $62 for 2 drinks and there was bugssss under the sauna room mats! They didn’t let me use my coupon, I complained and asked for a manager they said the manager is at a “meeting” and the only way was to email her. I send a email 5 business days later still no reply. Go to sojo spa instead.

I visited Spa Castle specifically for a Korean body scrub and had a confirmed 6:30 PM appointment. I purchased a full-day admission pass solely because it was required to receive treatments at this spa. I arrived early and checked in but was left waiting past my appointment time with no explanation. I was later told a client who had a 5 PM private scrub arrived late and that was causing the delay in my appointment. This client was prioritized over me, which is unfair to on-time guests. Around 6:45 PM, I was told I could “cancel if I want” when I asked the spa receptionist for an update for the fourth time since I wasn't receiving any updates and just kept being told "someone is coming." I never received the treatment I booked well in advance.Despite emailing the Assistant General Manager Regina Kim twice and calling her via phone (she said she’d respond by email), I never received a response. I was offered a complimentary admission for a future visit, by the team lead Roy, which I declined, as the experience did not give me confidence in returning. I traveled far and left more stressed than when I arrived. Poor communication, poor scheduling, and lack of customer care.

Generous Rating but honest. I’ve been a long-time Spa Castle customer for over 10 years, primarily visiting the Queens location for the Korean body scrub, which I’ve always enjoyed. Even with all the recent upgrades to the Queens location, this visit was by far the worst spa experience I’ve ever had. I was unable to get my usual Korean body scrub because I didn’t book it in advance and there was no availability. Despite that, I decided to still enjoy the spa and try other services — specifically the head spa and reflexology. Unfortunately, that decision was a huge mistake. At first, the head spa service seemed to be going okay. Then, halfway through the service, the woman casually said, “By the way, your hair is really tangled.” My immediate thought was — when were you planning to mention that? There was no check-in, no pause, no solution offered. What happened next was unacceptable. I had to take over the service and detangle my own hair while the technician literally sat back and watched. I lost an unimaginable amount of hair, with large clumps breaking off due to how tangled and mishandled it became. I even had to use my own brush that I brought into the spa. There was no apology, no concern, no acknowledgment of what was happening. Once I finished detangling my own hair, it was simply rinsed and that the service was done. I was so shaken by that experience that I couldn’t even relax during my reflexology service — which was also terrible. The man providing the reflexology did not massage my feet at all. He simply applied lotion. There was no technique, no pressure, no reflexology. I asked him more than once to apply pressure and mentioned that it didn’t feel like a massage, but there was no response. It appeared he did not understand English. I even asked the woman who handled my hair service if he spoke English and if she could let him know I wanted an actual massage. Nothing changed. To make matters worse, Spa Castle requires you to sign for services in advance with a mandatory 20% tip included, before the treatment even begins. This means that even if the service is terrible, you’re forced to tip — which is extremely unfair and discouraging for customers. After more than a decade of loyalty, I can confidently say I will not be returning, even for the one service I used to enjoy. I’ll be looking elsewhere for Korean scrubs and spa services. And to also think I took my brother with me to introduce him to Korean Scrubs as I always rave to everyone about as well as bring them there. So sad. Spa Castle — the facility upgrades mean nothing if the staff is poorly trained and customer care is nonexistent. Please invest in proper training, communication, and accountability.

Had a nice time with family. Many things to do. Body Massage, head. Etc Saunas room cold room Himalayan salt room. Open showers no privacy with a soak in pool. Naked women. The men's section smaller than the women side. There are lockers for shoes separate and clothes separate. Counter gives u towel and slippers, Robe. Overall nice spot to relax. And outdoor heated pool upstairs. Stair cases or elevators. Food section tables to relax. Bars.

This is so far the worst spa experience I’ve ever had. Weekend price $110/ person but nothing worth it. The spa is like very little visitors, that’s a sign already. And the food is unacceptable. Worst food ever. This is the first time of visit but definitely the last time as well. 😂
